00:20the Philippines Athletics Team is 5, 7, 7, and 11, so
00:25inanunsyo ng Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association of Patafa na Pilipinas ang napiling host para sa Asian Under-18 Athletics Championships
00:34na gaganapin sa taong 2027.
00:37Ayon kay Patafa President Terry Capistrano, makasaysayan ang hosting ng bansa
00:41dahil mabibigyan ng oportunidad ng mga kabataang atleta na magpamalas ng galing sa iba't-ibang track and field event.
00:49We bid for the Asian Athletics Under-18 competition.
00:55So it's Asia-wide, you know, you're talking about 45-something countries including Japan, China,
01:02the Middle Eastern countries, Qatar, Dubai, UAE, all these guys.
01:08And we got the, you know, we were awarded the hosting of the 2027 U18 Asian Athletics Championships.
01:19So we will hold this in the New Clark City sometime probably in March, February, March or April in 2027.
01:30This is the first major regional championships of this magnitude that the Philippines is holding.
01:36I think the last one was sometime in 30-something years ago or more than three decades ago,
01:42medyo matagal-tagal na before we hosted this.
