00:00What is going on with FAN? It feels like they're breaking apart. We saw the Andrew Marchand write about things breaking up. What's your perspective on this? What can you tell us about what's going on there? They're bringing Carton back, apparently, according to Marchand. What's your perspective on the whole thing?
00:16I've known for a long time that Carton is coming back. I know Chris Oliveira, who runs the show there, loves him. I mean, you knew that was going to happen at some point. You know, I'm saddened because there's a number of, you know, guys behind the scenes who I've known for a long time who are losing their jobs, you know, which is kind of sad.
00:34You know, guys who have been there forever, you know, who, you know, you wouldn't know their names, but they've been let go as well. You know, it is what it is. I mean, I, you know, I don't know what to say. You know, I, I'm only a part-time guy now. My full-time days are long over. I wouldn't, I couldn't do full-time radio anymore. I couldn't, I couldn't commute to the city every day anymore. I just don't have it in me. But, you know, I'm not shocked. I mean, they're going in a different direction.
01:02I don't think it's hardcore. Obviously, it's not hardcore sports anymore. You know, it's, it's more of a, you know, guy talk, if you want to say type deal. So it is what it is. You know, I, I'm not surprised by it. They left the morning show alone. The morning show is doing very well. Boomer and G and, you know, Jerry and, and Al and all those guys in the morning, you know, so Eddie Scazzeri, who's been there forever, he's going to be leaving soon. He's, he's an icon. He's going to be retiring soon.
01:30But, um, yeah, I mean, I'm, I'm not surprised, John. And I, I, for a long time, I knew this was coming. So, uh, you know, I'm not surprised by it at all.
