no key
Transcript
00:00So here's an old bank, found, don't know whose it is, found in an old box. 1942 and
00:17there was no key, so what I did was use one of these screwdrivers, you can
00:29see these are the parts. First I tried to paperclip and that didn't work and then
00:42punched it in on eBay. People are asking, where's from $19 to $40 and nobody has
00:54the keys. So here you got a little slide open and close here and what you do is
01:17you put the nickel, dime or quarter, after you slide it all the way to the right, put
01:30nickel there. And then, yeah, pull that lever all the way. So by breaking the lock, I just
01:48wanted to make sure there was no bills in it. But the door still opens.
01:55And that's that. The lock here you could see. I just had to pretty much bust that open.
02:18But I didn't want to fool with it too long. I'm not really a collector on these things.
02:31And here on the top you could see probably the same key. And by putting the screwdriver in,
02:39let's get some light. Let's see. I guess that was the way to set. Let me see if I can turn
02:57that. It probably resets that back to zero if you have the correct key, which is
03:14probably the same key that opens the bank. But I'm not going to play with that. I don't
03:20want to break that. All right. There's that. Later.
