04:29the World Tag League last year might have been the true undoing of United Empire.
04:34That injury for Calum Newman and Hanare on the same night, we've got Newman back already.

05:29It is Narita and Sonata that currently sit at the top of Block B overall.
05:33I gotta ask you, Joel, are you the type to keep your eye on what's happening over on the Block B side while you're competing in Block A,
05:39or are you primarily focused on your team with Shingo in Block A?
05:43To be honest, me and Shingo are taking each match as it comes.
05:46Yesterday in our post-match comments, main event in Yamanashi, Shingo's hometown, we won.
05:51And the post-match comment, we had to think of who's next, because we're so focused on the task at hand.
05:56And it's been working pretty well for us, you gotta understand.
05:58Me and Shingo are connecting on a good level, but before this,
06:01the only time we shared a ring together was to throw bombs at each other.

06:04So there's more for us to suss out than trying to lay out a game plan and get all the way from A to Z.
06:09We've gotta take each day as it comes.
06:11But I've kept eyes on bits of it, and of course, I've sat on comms a couple of days previous,
06:17seeing what's going on.

06:21We end up going to that final, facing somebody from B Block.

06:29the winner of A Block goes against second place, B Block, that's right.

06:46But one thing we can tell you, these two teams certainly still alive in Block B, and
06:50Ren Narita and Sonata are living better than anyone at the top of the block.

07:38cannot have this grand rebuild that they're talking about, his goose is cooked.

07:51And it's been the other guy's job to usher him in and kind of show him the ropes here.
07:55If they're not getting along, you know, he's in a precarious spot.

07:59Is he gonna be as frequently in the New Japan ring?

08:04So maybe that's put a bit of a fire under his ass and made him think, man, I need to
08:08hold these guys together when they don't wanna hold themselves together.

09:32I mean, I really think Callum Newman has honed in on a killer instinct he has
09:36never tapped into before.

09:45He's still, well, even younger than he is now, very nervous.

10:22And I think from Tag League last year to now is kind of when he's locked in and really
10:27figured it out a bit more.
