This incredibly sweet moment captures one hero of a postman helping a homeowner to hide a Christmas present.

The delivery man came up to the door to complete his job as usual, when he was met with a voice through the ring doorbell.

Emily Vernon from Rotheram, UK, shared the clip, explaining that it was her dad delivering the package to a friend of hers.

The lady, who caught it on her camera, quickly asked for the postman’s help, saying that her partner would be there imminently, and she didn't want him to see.

Without a second thought, the postman jumped to find a solution to the problem, quickly hiding the parcel behind a bin at the end of the drive.

The dad then hilariously jogged back to the door to whisper the whereabouts of the present before leaving with a smile on his face at a job well done.

The incredibly kind gesture and somewhat heroic actions of the postie grabbed a lot of attention online, gaining nearly 500,000 views.
