Döküm
00:00A'udhu billahi min ash-shaydanirrajim, Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
00:06Alhamdulillah, Lord of the worlds.
00:08Assalatu vesselamu ala rasulina Muhammad and ala alihi and ashabihi ecmain.
00:14Surely Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet.
00:16Therefore, O you who believe, send blessings and salutations to the Messenger of Allah in complete submission.
00:23My dear believing brothers and sisters,
00:25One of the stars shining in the sky of our Prophet (peace be upon him)
00:30Today, we will try to translate the life books of our Prophet Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) together.
00:38My brothers and sisters, our scholars say that the greatest spiritual blessing that God has given to a person is the blessing of faith.
00:47And the greatest material blessing that Allah Almighty has given to a person is the blessing of sight, one of our five senses.
00:54Therefore, with the eyes one observes, with the eyes one sees, with the eyes one loves, with the eyes one contemplates.
01:04Therefore, Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) whom we will talk about today was the one who was
01:11a blind companion,
01:13According to one rumor, he was born blind,
01:17According to another rumor, he became blind due to an accident he had when he was a child.
01:22My brothers and sisters,
01:25Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says,
01:29He says he would love to see his brothers.
01:32When I made such a statement saying I wish I could see my brothers,
01:37In response to this statement of our Prophet (peace be upon him),
01:40Our master companions said,
01:42When they said, O Messenger of Allah, are we not your brothers?
01:46He said,
01:47You are my companions.
01:50My brothers are those who believe in me even though they have not seen me,
01:55He said, “My brothers are the people who believe in the book that I have brought, even though they have not seen me.”
02:01Peace be upon him.
02:04My beautiful brothers,
02:05Think about it, we haven't seen it after 14 centuries,
02:09we became separated from him.
02:11Allah Almighty has determined such a decree,
02:13determined such a destiny,
02:14We couldn't see it.
02:16But there is such a person,
02:18even though he heard her voice,
02:21even though he was with her,
02:22even though he had smelled the scent she was wearing,
02:25a companion who could not see him,
02:27Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum, may Allah be pleased with him.
02:31So let's do an examination of conscience.
02:34Let's open our hearts like this,
02:35Let's ask a question.
02:37Indeed, 14 centuries ago,
02:40Would we like to be Hasan Basri, who has eyes to see but the prophet is not with him?
02:46Would we like to be Mehmet Ali?
02:48Or if my Lord had sent me 14 centuries ago,
02:52I wish my eyes had not seen,
02:54walking with him,
02:56smelling it,
02:57hearing his voice,
02:58Do we wish we were one?
03:00Let's make an observation like this.
03:02Our answer to this question is,
03:04I guess if we really love him very much,
03:07if we are truly believers who have true faith in him,
03:11I guess our answer should be this.
03:14Oh my Lord,
03:15Even if my eyes could not see,
03:17If only he were with me,
03:19if I heard his voice.
03:21Oh my Lord,
03:22Even if I had the ball of my foot,
03:24Even if I couldn't walk with him,
03:26The answer we would say if we heard his voice,
03:29It would probably be the biggest proof that we love him.
03:32Because my beautiful brothers,
03:35Look, our Prophet (peace be upon him) says,
03:38when great calamities befall you,
03:42immediately bring me to mind.
03:43When these Israeli traitors who bombed the oppressed people in Gaza appeared,
03:48these American imperialists came out and
03:50when they violate the honor of the Ummah,
03:53when you sigh and wail,
03:56immediately come to your mind,
03:57We have a bigger problem than this oppression,
04:00We have a greater suffering than this trouble,
04:02the day you say,
04:04immediately bring to mind,
04:05because the greatest calamity that has ever happened to you,
04:08He says it's mine,
04:09He says it is because I am not among you.
04:11Allahu Akbar.
04:12We believed in this word, didn't we?
04:14Because he is not among us now,
04:17We have no bigger problem, my brothers.
04:19We can tell about the cruelties committed,
04:22we can relapse our troubles,
04:25go to him,
04:26we can heal our wounds,
04:28We don't have a bigger problem than that, do we?
04:30All the wounds healed one by one,
04:33The wound of his separation never healed, did it?
04:37Look again at the continuation of the hadith,
04:40Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says,
04:42On that day, such people will come that
04:46when calamities befall you,
04:48they will say,
04:49That's my brothers,
04:51Oh my Lord,
04:53I wish the Messenger of Allah were among us,
04:55neither our property nor our children,
04:58If we had neither mother nor father,
05:00they will say.
05:01So my beautiful brothers,
05:03at work,
05:04where,
05:05Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) described that day,
05:08on that day to those who believe in themselves,
05:10they will say about me,
05:12If only the Prophet were with us,
05:14neither our property nor our children,
05:16What if we had a spouse,
05:17those people will say,
05:18We are currently, as
05:20We really need to think about this.
05:22Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
05:24if he were with us,
05:26So we would give our lives to him.
05:28I'm past giving up my eyes,
05:30I crossed our legs,
05:31to give our arms,
05:33so that he may be with us,
05:35Whoever is with us is essential,
05:37the day we said,
05:38Here we are,
05:39Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
05:41Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
05:43May Allah be pleased with him,
05:44Like our Lord,
05:45Even if our eyes cannot see,
05:47the love he felt,
05:48the compliment he heard,
05:50the love he felt,
05:52To our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
05:54this age that hears,
05:56Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
05:58We will be the ones who are the Messenger of Allah (may Allah be pleased with him).
06:00Look, my brothers,
06:02Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
06:05itself,
06:07In Mecca,
06:09before starting your invitation,
06:11He was a very nice person who lived there.
06:15Living beautifully like him,
06:17there were other people too.
06:18Not involved in polytheism,
06:20who does not commit adultery,
06:21non-gambling,
06:22non-drinker,
06:23Here is Abdullah Ibn Maktum,
06:25Our Prophet (may Allah be pleased with him) also said,
06:26He was born in Mecca,
06:28but he did not engage in these polytheisms,
06:30And,
06:31Like our Prophet (peace be upon him),
06:33just as he remained clean,
06:35Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum also said,
06:36cleanly,
06:38He waited for the day when he would believe in our Prophet (peace be upon him).
06:42My brothers and sisters,
06:43father's name,
06:45narrated by Kays bin Zahide,
06:47They also said that his mother's name was,
06:48Atike bin Abdullah,
06:50and normally Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
06:53While the name of our Prophet (may Allah be pleased with him) was Husayn,
06:55Our Prophet, peace be upon him,
06:58the bad one,
06:58names that have bad connotations,
07:00because it is sunnah to change,
07:03He also said to Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum,
07:05Let's change the name Huseyin to Abdullah,
07:08saying, "Let your name from now on be Abdullah, the servant of Allah",
07:12Our Prophet, peace be upon him,
07:14changed his name to Abdullah.
07:16My brothers, our Master, peace and blessings be upon him,
07:21is such a great teacher for us,
07:24just as it touches every aspect of life,
07:28who taught us every detail, peace and blessings be upon him,
07:32Here, through the name of Abdullah,
07:35Giving beautiful names to our children is also a sunnah,
07:39It is not only sunnah to use misbak,
07:41It is not only sunnah to grow a beard,
07:44Peace be upon him,
07:47Our child is a trust bestowed upon us by God,
07:50when you come into the world,
07:52and giving it a nice name,
07:54that it is one of his sunnahs,
07:57Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) from our Prophet,
08:00taught us.
08:01My beautiful brothers,
08:03As I just said,
08:04Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
08:06According to narrations, he was either blind from birth,
08:10or as they said,
08:11due to an illness he had when he was a child,
08:14someone who has lost his eyes.
08:17Look, my brothers,
08:18so that,
08:19To our Prophet (peace be upon him),
08:21In 611 AD,
08:23the gates of heaven opened,
08:25Allah,
08:26After sending the first verses of the Surah Alaq through Gabriel,
08:30Among the first people to believe in our Prophet (peace be upon him),
08:35but what happened is,
08:36the blind,
08:36There is also Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum.
08:39Well,
08:40To believe in our Prophet (peace be upon him),
08:43Do you need to see it?
08:45Aha, we don't see it.
08:46Even though we don't see it,
08:48Just as we believe now,
08:49on that day,
08:50Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
08:52even though he did not see,
08:54He believed in our Prophet (peace be upon him),
08:56but one of the companions.
08:58Abu Jahl saw him,
09:00did not believe.
09:01Abu Lahab saw him,
09:02did not believe.
09:03The sky saw him preaching,
09:05saw Shaiba,
09:05did not believe.
09:07Unfortunately,
09:08Even though they were the ones who had the misfortune of seeing such a beautiful person and not believing in him,
09:12We believers know that guidance is from Allah,
09:15even though he didn't see it,
09:17Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum,
09:18What do we do when we believe in him?
09:20Right now,
09:21We observe.
09:22So, my brothers,
09:24seeing him,
09:25rather than believing in him,
09:27and even though he did not see it,
09:29There is such a skill as believing in him.
09:32Here is Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum,
09:34such a skill,
09:35has been honored,
09:36companions,
09:37because of someone.
09:39But what do we do?
09:40As if the Prophet,
09:41Peace be upon him,
09:42If we saw our Lord,
09:44our faith would increase more.
09:46When we see it,
09:47We say that we will be overwhelmed with greater faith, etc.
09:50No,
09:50No, my brothers,
09:51even though they saw it with their soul's eyes,
09:54even though they observed it,
09:55and those who deny it,
09:57they have existed in this world.
09:59In fact, even,
10:00so that,
10:01all kinds of men,
10:02eating mint,
10:03commits adultery,
10:04gambling,
10:05drinking alcohol,
10:06then he comes and says,
10:07My teacher says,
10:08I swear he says,
10:09I say today,
10:10The Messenger of Allah,
10:11He says he saw it in his dream.
10:12You tell the man,
10:14Okay, okay,
10:14How beautiful,
10:16The Messenger of Allah,
10:17If you saw it in your dreams,
10:18well from now on,
10:19You do not oppress your wife,
10:20well from now on,
10:21You do not commit adultery,
10:22well from now on,
10:23You quit your job,
10:24From now on you will not receive interest,
10:26when we say,
10:27The man says,
10:28My teacher says,
10:28He says, what are you saying?
10:30I,
10:30peace be upon him,
10:32in this state,
10:32drinking alcohol,
10:33a man who commits adultery,
10:35I saw it in my dreams.
10:36Therefore,
10:37If I were not a good man,
10:38He wouldn't come to my dreams anyway,
10:40from this situation of mine,
10:41if he had not already agreed,
10:43He was already invisible to me,
10:45because I saw it,
10:47I will not give up these jobs,
10:48because I don't see him,
10:50that I'm on a good mission,
10:52saying the sign,
10:53Unfortunately, we also hear about fools,
10:55My brothers and sisters,
10:56isn't it?
10:56So what should we say to such people?
10:59What about Abu Jahl,
11:00even though he saw it with his soul's eyes,
11:03his uncle called Abu Lahab,
11:04even though he saw it with his soul's eyes,
11:06they were not granted faith,
11:09you once in your dream,
11:11because he saw the prophet,
11:13Will you think that God has given you faith?
11:16Therefore,
11:16The trick is not in seeing it, my brothers,
11:19ingenuity,
11:20to the religion he brought,
11:22to follow,
11:23what he brought,
11:25The creed of La Ilahe Illallah,
11:27put on this creed and tell people,
11:29can explain this belief system.
11:32Look, my brothers,
11:33Our Prophet, peace be upon him,
11:35Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum loves so much that,
11:37Think of a teacher you loved very much,
11:39You know, a friend you love very much,
11:42Think of a brother you love very much,
11:44How uncomfortable you are when you don't see him,
11:47when you don't talk to him for a week,
11:49or in a phone call,
11:51when you don't hear your voice,
11:53How can such fears come to your chest?
11:55comes to your heart,
11:56squeezes your chest,
11:58Here is Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
12:00can't stop seeing him,
12:02who can't stand being by her side,
12:04and even for a moment,
12:05He was one of the companions who did not leave him alone.
12:08One day,
12:09To our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
12:11These Meccan aristocrats and polytheists came,
12:14They said,
12:15Utba, Shayba, Walid,
12:17then Umayya bin Khalaf,
12:18They said, O Muhammad,
12:20Let's make an appointment with you,
12:21and give us an appointment,
12:23but on this date,
12:24No Bilal,
12:25No need to talk,
12:26I mean, the mobs next to you,
12:29don't let them be,
12:30on our date,
12:31Let's just be here,
12:32and you,
12:34information about this new religion that has come to us,
12:37to give messages,
12:38They received such an appointment from our Prophet (peace be upon him),
12:42and our Master, Peace and Blessings be upon him,
12:43gave them such an appointment,
12:45and my brothers,
12:47Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has arrived,
12:48Right at the steps of the Kaaba,
12:50these fierce polytheists,
12:52Like Velid bin Mugre,
12:53They came and started talking to our Prophet, peace be upon him.
12:57and then,
12:58Our Master, peace and blessings be upon him,
12:59he was going through it like this:
13:00if they embrace Islam,
13:04Islam will attain greater glory,
13:06Islam will be greater,
13:08Islam will become stronger,
13:09and the oppression here will be eliminated,
13:13to them with a vengeance,
13:15He was explaining the religion of Allah,
13:17while telling them like this,
13:19From there, never leaving him by his side even for a moment,
13:22or who does not leave his side,
13:24Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum came,
13:25he said,
13:26O Messenger of Allah, he said,
13:27If there are signs coming to me from Allah,
13:29if there is revelation,
13:31to purify me,
13:33to correct me,
13:35From the verses that came from Allah,
13:37He said, "O Messenger of Allah, can you read it to me?"
13:39and our Master, peace and blessings be upon him, my brothers,
13:42To Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum,
13:44He frowned like this,
13:45Is now the time for this, O Abdullah?
13:48I'm dealing with the Meccan polytheists here,
13:50I could deal with you later,
13:52So, was now the time for this, O Abdullah?
13:54My brothers frowned at one of his companions,
13:57and my beautiful brothers,
13:59Our Master, peace and blessings be upon him,
14:01Because he frowned, the gates of heaven were opened to him,
14:05And,
14:06My Lord revealed the first 16 verses of Surah Abasa,
14:09And look, in those verses, Allah Almighty says,
14:12that prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him,
14:15Amaya frowned,
14:19How do you know, O Prophet?
14:21maybe that future would be soothing,
14:24would correct himself,
14:25You leave someone who will make you feel at ease,
14:29He who does not bow down to Allah,
14:31He who sees himself as a devotee to Allah,
14:34So you're interested in men who have dedicated themselves to a godless life,
14:39Are you abandoning this mistake, O Prophet?
14:41Think that you are always guided by those who consider themselves independent of Allah,
14:45Their guidance does not concern you, O my prophet,
14:48Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
14:50Allah Almighty,
14:52Look, he warned in the Quran,
14:54From where?
14:55Because he made a face at one of his companions,
14:59Hey my beautiful brothers,
15:00In this incident we have described here,
15:02There are many stories to understand, aren't there?
15:04There is a lesson,
15:05What should be our first lesson?
15:07Let our first lesson be this:
15:09scholars say,
15:11The proof that the Quran was sent from Allah,
15:14One of the biggest pieces of evidence is
15:16These are the verses.
15:17Because why?
15:18If Muhammad (peace be upon him) had written the Quran with his own hand,
15:22if he had made it up in his own mind,
15:24a person in a book he wrote himself,
15:27never criticizes himself,
15:29What wouldn't he do himself?
15:30He wouldn't insult.
15:31Therefore, it means that,
15:32because Allah sent this book,
15:35What did God do?
15:36He warned his prophet.
15:37Okay, my brothers and sisters here,
15:40What is our wisdom?
15:41Even if you were a prophet,
15:44Even if you were an inviter who received the revelation of Allah,
15:48You can make mistakes too.
15:50Muhammad (peace be upon him) too?
15:51Yes,
15:52Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) can also make mistakes.
15:54In that case,
15:54What is the message given to humanity here, my beautiful brothers?
15:57So in this world,
15:59whom we can call teacher,
16:01whom we can call scholars,
16:03whom we can call sheikh,
16:05people we can call the sheikhs and saints of the sect,
16:09not la yusel,
16:10It is not without fault, my brothers.
16:12For,
16:13Even our Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
16:15even though he is the most beloved servant of Allah,
16:18can make mistakes,
16:19then in this world,
16:21No matter who preaches religion,
16:23whoever preaches,
16:25is not free from error.
16:28In that case,
16:28We will not see anyone as flawless, my brothers.
16:32What will we not do to anyone?
16:34We will not see it as the Almighty.
16:36Well,
16:37a person,
16:38when he says something,
16:40this is absolutely true.
16:41If our Sheikh Effendi said it,
16:43We will not say that there is wisdom in this, my brothers.
16:46We will anticipate that people are fallible.
16:50Or the situation where people can make mistakes,
16:53We will not forget it for a moment.
16:55Look, my brothers,
16:56what else is there?
16:58Another thing is this,
16:59Our Prophet (peace be upon him) said that the scholars said,
17:02What was the reason for his frowning face towards Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum?
17:06Actually, that was his intention.
17:08What was his intention?
17:09These saints intend to,
17:11If these polytheists become Muslims,
17:12Islam gains dignity,
17:14He had the intention that Muslims would become stronger.
17:17And our scholars say,
17:19Our Prophet, peace be upon him,
17:21here he was caught in an ignorant understanding of power.
17:25In other words, he expected power from the ignorant.
17:28And he intended that Islam would gain honor through these ignorant people.
17:32And Allah warned him.
17:34Oh my Prophet,
17:35Do not undermine the honor and dignity of Islam,
17:38Don't search for this Umayya bin Khalaf.
17:40Oh my Prophet, oh my Prophet!
17:41Do not undermine the honor and dignity of Islam,
17:43Call from Velid bin Mugreler.
17:45Indeed, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
17:48if he was warned there about this,
17:50Now, as believers on earth, we too,
17:53The honor and dignity of Islam,
17:54Where are we looking for my brothers?
17:56We are looking for it at the gates of the USA,
17:58We are looking for it at the gates of the European Union,
18:00We are looking for it at the UN gates, right?
18:02What are we doing to ensure that they give strength to Islam?
18:05We bow down to them, don't we?
18:08The man comes here to visit the Pope,
18:10To our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
18:12the honorable companions in Medina,
18:15tale'al bedru aleyna,
18:17that is, Badr dawned upon us,
18:19because the moon rose,
18:20To our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
18:22for addressing,
18:23what the companions said,
18:25a hymn,
18:26Allah,
18:27Saying that Jesus is the son of God,
18:29polytheist,
18:30impure,
18:31telling a man,
18:33politicians,
18:34I wonder the honor and dignity of Islam,
18:36Where are they looking for my brothers?
18:38Allahu Akbar,
18:39and without shame,
18:40without getting bored,
18:41Our Prophet (peace be upon him)
18:43to his legacy,
18:45for the sake of his companions,
18:46as if to do something rude,
18:48he went there wearing the Pope's robe,
18:51They also take out women,
18:52and also without shame,
18:54to those women too,
18:54that divine,
18:55those who say,
18:56I wonder today the honor and dignity of Islam,
18:59At whose door are they looking, my brothers?
19:01Allahu Akbar,
19:02Islam,
19:03No one expects honor and dignity,
19:05Islam is for those who enter it,
19:07It gives honor and dignity, my brothers.
19:09You know, the guys say,
19:10Türkiye,
19:11Turks,
19:12If it were not for Islam,
19:13They say he could not gain honor and dignity,
19:16Lie lie brothers,
19:17no race,
19:18no disposition,
19:20no sect,
19:21It cannot bring honor and dignity to Islam.
19:24Islam,
19:24What does it do to races and temperaments?
19:27It gives dignity.
19:27Therefore,
19:28If it weren't for the Turks,
19:30It is not that Islam could not be honorable and glorious,
19:32If there was no Islam,
19:33We must say that the Turks could not have achieved honor and dignity.
19:38At work,
19:39Our master, peace and blessings be upon him,
19:41Allah Almighty,
19:42see Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum,
19:44warning like this,
19:46to us too,
19:46What is he doing like this?
19:48He gives messages.
19:49And my beautiful brothers,
19:50Look, they said here in another wisdom,
19:52scholars,
19:53in the case of Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
19:56Peace be upon you,
19:57Our Lord,
19:58Actually,
20:00He actually did the right thing.
20:01If this understanding of power had not evolved incorrectly,
20:04he had done the right thing.
20:05So how?
20:06Abdullah,
20:07You are already my Hatice's uncle and son.
20:10I am related to you.
20:12You already believe.
20:13When you die,
20:14I hope you will go to heaven anyway.
20:16But,
20:17priority here right now,
20:18There are Abu Jahls,
20:19There are Umayya bin Khalafs.
20:21If they die, they will go to hell.
20:23Therefore,
20:24I need to deliver my verse to them.
20:25I need to explain my religion to them.
20:27So that I can tell you later,
20:29Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
20:31here also,
20:33My brothers said, "He taught us the jurisprudence of primary issues."
20:36Allahu Akbar.
20:37So let me explain it like this,
20:39Think, for example,
20:40I,
20:41I want to be a good doctor,
20:42when people are sick,
20:44can provide a cure for their troubles,
20:46I wish I had been a good doctor,
20:48and also be a feature of mine,
20:50I am a good preacher of religion,
20:51who also preaches well,
20:52who tells good people about Islam,
20:54I wish I were an inviter.
20:55If two women enter through that door and say,
20:59My dear teacher Ahmet,
21:00If a woman says, "My dear Ahmet,"
21:02My child became an apostate,
21:04became a polytheist,
21:05My child has turned away from religion,
21:06Come and give him a sermon,
21:09If the other woman comes and says,
21:10My dear teacher Ahmet,
21:11catch up,
21:12My child got something stuck in his throat while eating.
21:15If he says he will die right now,
21:17To whom should I go, my brothers?
21:19Look,
21:20The child with something stuck in his throat is Muslim,
21:22the other became an apostate,
21:24Who should I go to?
21:26going to that apostate,
21:28I need to explain religion to him.
21:30A person who has something stuck in his throat,
21:32even though he can't get air,
21:33If he dies, I hope he will go to heaven.
21:34but the other,
21:35as an apostate,
21:36if he dies as a polytheist,
21:38He's going to hell, right?
21:39So my beautiful brother,
21:41at work,
21:41Our Master, peace and blessings be upon him,
21:43to us from here too,
21:44He taught the jurisprudence of primary issues.
21:46So right now,
21:47How much do we need this, right?
21:49What do people say in mosque sermons?
21:53Or what do the clerics recite in their mosque sermons?
21:55Let's plant flowers,
21:56Let's protect the trees,
21:58Let's not throw garbage on the ground,
21:59Okay brothers,
22:00thanks,
22:01Let's plant flowers too,
22:02Let's protect the trees too,
22:03Let's also increase the forests.
22:05But my beautiful brothers,
22:06Today,
22:07This is not what people need to be told,
22:10people are flocking,
22:11polytheism,
22:11in disbelief,
22:13Kemalism,
22:13secularism,
22:14into the swamp of democracy
22:15while going sunken,
22:17from flowers,
22:18talking about insects,
22:19What our Prophet (peace be upon him) taught,
22:22Could it be that we take the priority issues jurisprudence as an example?
22:26Or our teachers who talk about things that invalidate prayer,
22:29Unfortunately, my beautiful brothers,
22:32faith,
22:32creed,
22:33Tawhid,
22:34if they do not talk about things that corrupt faith,
22:37For God's sake, tell me,
22:38Would we take our master sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as an example?
22:41That is, those who have no faith,
22:43has contaminated faith with polytheism,
22:45He has contaminated his monotheism with blasphemy,
22:47What will happen if someone prays?
22:49What will happen if he goes on Hajj, my brothers?
22:51So, what should we do in this age?
22:54Our priority is,
22:55the truth of our monotheism,
22:58the words of la ilahe illallah,
23:00that is, there is no god but Allah,
23:02Any parliament that has sovereignty on earth other than Allah,
23:07there is no aristocratic group,
23:09because there is no system,
23:11Let's try to explain these to people by warning them.
23:16Therefore, our master, peace be upon him, gave us such an example.
23:21Look, my beautiful brothers,
23:23After this incident, our master, peace be upon him,
23:26Allah warned him about Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum,
23:30Companions say,
23:31Our master, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him,
23:33After this incident, Allah warned me and my companions that I would do something wrong.
23:40so carefully that he warns us again,
23:43He was acting so politely,
23:45when we shook his hand,
23:48He wouldn't let go of our hands,
23:50until we let go of his hand,
23:53until we turn our backs and walk away,
23:54Allahu Akbar.
23:56That is, against his companions,
23:58towards your friends, your acquaintances,
24:00in order not to lose them,
24:02showing care,
24:04in order not to lose them,
24:06to keep their hearts happy,
24:09putting forth his best effort,
24:11There was a Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
24:13From where?
24:14Oh, the verse will come down and my Lord will warn me.
24:17There was a prophet who was trembling.
24:20But right now we,
24:21I guess no verse will be revealed to us anyway, Ismail Hoca.
24:24So we say, "Let him kick the bucket," right?
24:27We can just throw it away, right?
24:28Because of the things that do not fill the nut shell,
24:32We can end brotherhood bonds immediately, right?
24:35We don't even ask.
24:37From where?
24:37Because no verse will come to us anyway, my brothers.
24:40Therefore, the verse was coming to him,
24:42she was trembling for him.
24:45Probably because we know that no verse will come to us,
24:48What don't we do, my brothers?
24:50We do not approach our brothers with such care.
24:53However, the verses that were revealed to him 14 centuries ago have not come down to us either, have they, my brothers?
24:59Then we too will have a friend,
25:01Shouldn't we make every effort not to lose a friend?
25:06The day we don't spend,
25:08We will not take our master sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as an example, my brothers.
25:13Look, my beautiful brothers,
25:14So much so that one day, his companions came to the house of our Prophet (peace be upon him),
25:19they sat like that, they sat like that,
25:21Our master, peace be upon him, said, "My Lord will warn me again."
25:25Even though he was uncomfortable with them, he could not tell them to leave.
25:29So I will wake up for tahajjud at night,
25:31He couldn't say, "Maybe I will spend time with my wives."
25:35So much so that my Lord sent the 55th verse of Surah Ahzab
25:39and he said,
25:40O you who believe,
25:42Do not stay too long in the house of the prophet,
25:46Because what you have done disturbs the prophet,
25:49he can't tell you that either.
25:50My beautiful prophet.
25:53For example, are there situations where we cannot say things that make us uncomfortable?
25:57Isn't it when our brother bothers us?
26:01We can immediately throw his mistake in his face.
26:03We do not manage,
26:05we don't keep it inside us,
26:06We do not save.
26:07Later,
26:08Our master, peace be upon him, also
26:10He was a prophet who treated his companions with great care.
26:14We continue to write literature.
26:16God first sees my situation,
26:18Then my brothers, if you have such problems
26:20I hope your situation improves too.
26:23Look, my beautiful brothers,
26:24so that our master peace be upon him
26:26Whenever he saw Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum he would say,
26:30My brother about whom my Lord warned me,
26:34My companions about whom my Lord warned me,
26:38Allahu Akbar.
26:39So what does this mean?
26:41So when someone warns you about something,
26:45what don't you do?
26:46Don't say that you can't warn me because of so and so.
26:49Now the man is so rude to his child,
26:52So he hits the kid on the head, calling him a thug,
26:55We say, "Teacher, don't do this."
26:56We say don't hit the child's head,
26:58We say don't phase the child,
27:00We say don't call the child a bum,
27:02He says you can't warn me because of my child.
27:04Allahu Akbar.
27:06A Muslim showers his wife with such insults that
27:08He uses such harsh words to his wife,
27:12My brother, don't do this, this is the trust that God has given to you.
27:15Don't say such rude words to your wife,
27:17don't hurt him,
27:19When we say don't upset him,
27:20He says no one can warn me because of my wife.
27:23But, my brothers, didn't Allah warn the Prophet about his companions?
27:28Allahu Akbar.
27:29Allahu Akbar.
27:31Or we say to the man,
27:32Sir, look, this case you went to is the wrong case.
27:36Teacher, this path you have followed is not the right path.
27:38Therefore, he says,
27:40No one can warn me about the path I have taken.
27:43I have become attached to myself,
27:46I have agreed,
27:48because of your teacher,
27:49because of the sect,
27:50No one can warn me.
27:52I entrusted my work to him.
27:54Has someone who says this never read these verses, my brothers, in which Allah warned our Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding his companions?
28:04Allahu Akbar.
28:05or we say to someone who wrongs a believer,
28:09You did wrong to that believing brother of yours,
28:12When we say you have violated the rights of others,
28:14You can't warn me about anyone, sir.
28:16I wonder if the people who say "you" actually believe in these verses?
28:20Or have we believed, my brothers?
28:22Allahu Akbar.
28:23May God make our situation better.
28:25Look, my beautiful brothers,
28:27Our Prophet, peace be upon him,
28:28Because Allah Almighty warned him about such a thing with Abdullah,
28:33respects him more,
28:34he had more love for her.
28:37And our Master, peace and blessings be upon him, takes him to his home,
28:41takes off his cardigan,
28:42It rolls like this,
28:43puts it on the ground,
28:44then he said to Abdullah,
28:45Abdullah said come.
28:46Then he would put it on his cardigan.
28:48Allahu Akbar.
28:49He would make her sit on his cardigan.
28:52You know, today in our Fatih Mosque,
28:54In Istanbul,
28:55During Ramadan,
28:56which we know as the holy cloak and which people wear,
28:59the courier entered,
29:00to queue up and see,
29:01to look at the cardigan of our Prophet (peace be upon him),
29:05on that cardigan they lined up for,
29:07What was Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum doing?
29:09My brothers are sitting.
29:12So here it is,
29:13Our Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him,
29:15and he felt such love.
29:17My brothers and sisters,
29:18Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
29:20In the 10th year of the Prophethood,
29:23He went to Tayyip,
29:24stoned,
29:25He later came back to Mecca and there,
29:28to perform the rite of the cross,
29:29He brought invitations to people coming from outside Mecca.
29:33He took the invitation,
29:34With our Master Abu Bakr,
29:35all the tents were filled with laughter.
29:37But only one tent remained.
29:39Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said,
29:41He said, "Ya Licence"
29:41Should we go to that tent too?
29:43Let's go, Abu Bakr said.
29:44And in that tent he met six 25-year-old young men.
29:49Peace be upon you, our Master.
29:51And they,
29:52They believed in our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
29:55At their head is Assad bin Zurare.
29:57And they came back again a year later,
29:59As 12 people.
30:01And,
30:01They said to our Prophet (peace be upon him),
30:04Oh Allah, the License,
30:04will teach us religion in Medina,
30:06when they say send one person with us,
30:09Look, my brothers,
30:11Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
30:13He sent two people with them.
30:15Who was that someone?
30:16Our master Musab bin Umayr radiyallahu anhu.
30:19Secondly,
30:20Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum, may Allah be pleased with him.
30:23Allahu akbar.
30:25Well,
30:26The distance between Mecca and Medina is 500 kilometers,
30:28and Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum,
30:31himself but even though he is,
30:33even though he was blind,
30:35even though he is blind,
30:38My brothers went to Medina to make an invitation.
30:42So, my beautiful brothers,
30:43Our eyes can see it today, right?
30:45Even,
30:46those of us with astigmatism,
30:47those of us with hyperopia,
30:49those of us who are myopic,
30:50Here are those of us who are trying to have cataract surgery,
30:53to eliminate these diseases,
30:54all medical facilities,
30:56so that we can see better,
30:57even though it is within our reach,
31:00This blind but able companion showed,
31:03I wonder why we cannot show this yearning for this invitation, my brothers?
31:08So, from here we understand that,
31:10The invitation is not visible,
31:12It is not possible to see or look.
31:14Yes,
31:15You may be visually impaired,
31:16but may God not let your heart be an obstacle.
31:19Our master Abdullah Ibn Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him)
31:22but it wasn't his heart,
31:24he saw the heart,
31:25because he is not heart-disabled,
31:28It was going 500 kilometers ahead,
31:30but today we,
31:31even though our eyes see,
31:33the sincerity he showed,
31:35if we cannot put forth the effort,
31:38in our hearts,
31:39will give us excitement,
31:41Unfortunately, we have obstacles.
31:43Well,
31:44Our hearts have become disabled,
31:46Shouldn't we think about it?
31:48Allahu akbar.
31:49Well,
31:50holding a person by the arm,
31:52to a chat environment,
31:53If we do not bring it when we come ourselves,
31:55What will happen if your eyes see?
31:57What will happen if you look, sir?
31:59After the heart of man does not see,
32:01What will happen if his eyes see?
32:03Therefore,
32:03Here is Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
32:05to us 14 centuries ago,
32:07gave this message.
32:08This is me, but with my eyes,
32:10with these unseeing eyes,
32:12Peace be upon him,
32:14to explain your religion,
32:15From Mecca,
32:17500 kilometers ahead,
32:19Even though I went to Medina,
32:20Hey you who came after 14 centuries,
32:23Muslims of the 21st century,
32:25if you leave your homes,
32:27even the conversations you have once a week,
32:29If you are too lazy to go,
32:31You should fear Allah.
32:35Comes to chat alone,
32:37to your arm,
32:38Those who do not pray around you,
32:40those who are unaware of religion and faith,
32:42If you don't make any effort to bring people,
32:45Shouldn't you fear Allah?
32:48He is blind, but didn't he give us a message, my brothers?
32:51God received that message,
32:53and to be among the believers who strive for their religion,
32:56May He grant and establish it to each of us.
32:59Look, my brothers,
33:00Our Prophet (peace be upon him),
33:02Before the Battle of Badr,
33:04some detachments,
33:06was sending for jihad, but,
33:07the verses of jihad had not yet been made obligatory.
33:09And Allah Almighty,
33:11Nisa sent the 95th verse.
33:13Look at that verse,
33:15Our Lord says,
33:17With those who strive in the path of Allah,
33:18Those who do not strive in the path of Allah,
33:20that is, with those who strive,
33:21Those who do not strive will never be equal.
33:24In the sight of God,
33:24Those who strive in the path of Allah,
33:26From those who do not strive in the path of Allah,
33:28Always,
33:29When he sent the verse, "It is superior",
33:32Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum came,
33:34He started crying so much that
33:35He started crying so much that
33:37O Messenger of Allah,
33:38I cannot go with any jihad detachment.
33:40I will not be able to participate in any jihad,
33:42at this rate,
33:43because of these blind eyes of mine,
33:45I,
33:46to the degree of those who waged jihad,
33:48I wonder if I can't reach it,
33:50Look,
33:50although he is not responsible,
33:52this verse,
33:53God sent me,
33:54In this verse, Allah is speaking to me,
33:57took the verse upon himself,
33:59and began to cry bitterly.
34:01So, are we like that today?
34:03Read the verses to someone else,
34:05The verses describe such and such a community,
34:08The verses describe such and such an association,
34:10The verses describe so-and-so Jew,
34:12So and so Christian tells,
34:14but for some reason,
34:15from the 6,320 verses in this Quran,
34:18none of them,
34:19It doesn't describe us, my brothers.
34:21We read the verses,
34:22Do we read for ourselves?
34:24Brothers, do we read this verse because it refers to such and such a congregation?
34:28We who recite verses to others,
34:30the verses we read to others,
34:32Unfortunately,
34:33We do not read to ourselves.
34:35Then it turns out that we are as insincere as a pumpkin, right?
34:39Allahu Akbar.
34:40So look, like Abdullah Ibn Maktum,
34:42Our companions asked, "What does this verse say to me?"
34:45In fact, he took on this verse even though he was not responsible for it.
34:48God did not impose such a responsibility on him.
34:50Especially today,
34:51God's invitation to us,
34:53even though it makes jihad responsible,
34:56Although some things are obligatory upon us,
34:58if we are not taken seriously,
35:00Then my brothers, there is no sincerity problem here, is there?
35:03Allahu Akbar.
35:05And my brothers,
35:07Zayd bin Sabit narrates.
35:08Abdullah came, he says,
35:10In the presence of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him),
35:12He expressed these wishes and began to cry so much that,
35:16Oh my God, please forgive me,
35:18because of these blind eyes of mine,
35:20He said, "O Lord, send me a verse that will explain my apology."
35:23Allahu Akbar.
35:24So, imagine a companion who opened his hands to the sky,
35:28He said, "O Allah, send a verse for me."
35:30And how precious is this person in the sight of God,
35:34God fulfilled his wish,
35:36and sent a verse for him.
35:38And right at the 95th verse of the Nisa Surah,
35:41My brothers, our Lord brought everyone except the blind.
35:44That is, except for those who are blind or have no eyesight,
35:51Those who strive in the way of Allah and those who do not strive,
35:53He said there is no equal in the sight of Allah.
35:55Allahu Akbar.
35:56My brothers, these people were asking for signs from Allah
35:59and God,
36:02So that people may read the Quran until the Day of Judgment,
36:04He sent a verse through the person of this man.
36:06Well, today we also ask God for something.
36:09But we can't achieve our goal, can we?
36:12So why?
36:13Because of all the sincerity he showed with his blind eye,
36:18God gives him what he wants.
36:20But God gave us,
36:21eyes that see,
36:22even though it gives you eyes that look,
36:24Because we did not fulfill God's wishes,
36:27God does not accept our prayers either, my brothers.
36:30Isn't it?
36:31Allahu Akbar.
36:32Allahu Akbar.
36:33As we just said,
36:35So we ask Allah for an Islamic state,
36:38We want the caliphate.
36:39So the biggest problem of this ummah right now is,
36:42the lack of a caliph over us,
36:44while there was no Abdulhamid Khan,
36:47We need to tell people about these things,
36:48We are still dealing with flowers and insects, my brothers.
36:52So the man had a traffic accident here,
36:54The man's lung may have burst,
36:57heartbeats stopped,
36:58if we deal with situations like dealing with a cut on a man's hand,
37:02Why should God accept our prayers, my beautiful brothers?
37:06Therefore, God,
37:08Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
37:09May He grant us sincerity like our master, may Allah be pleased with him.
37:12Look, Zayd bin Sabit says,
37:14while that verse comes,
37:15The knee of our master, peace be upon him,
37:18was on my knee.
37:20By God, the weight of the verse was so heavy that,
37:23I almost thought my knee would break,
37:25I thought my knee was going to break.
37:27So here is Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
37:30Our master, may Allah be pleased with him,
37:31and when it is desired by Allah,
37:35Our Lord sent down a verse for him,
37:38his face is also one of the companions.
37:41Lastly, my brothers and sisters,
37:43Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
37:44Our master, may Allah be pleased with him,
37:45in the third year of the Hijra,
37:47The companions went to the Battle of Uhud.
37:49Abdullah Ibn Maktum,
37:50Our master, may Allah be pleased with him,
37:51Our master, peace and blessings be upon him,
37:52He left it in Medina.
37:53Then our master, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
37:56rumor that he was killed,
37:59It spread in Medina.
38:01And some of the companions also said,
38:02They returned to Medina.
38:04Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
38:05Ravi says,
38:06when you heard this news,
38:08six kilometers,
38:09Towards the outside of Mecca,
38:10He marched towards Uhud.
38:11And when you get there,
38:13to the returning companions,
38:14Why are you coming back?
38:16he asked.
38:16They also said,
38:18Prophet Muhammad was killed,
38:19when he said the prophet was killed,
38:21he said,
38:23Well, after he dies,
38:24What will you do while living?
38:26He said, "Get up and die like him."
38:28and he said give me a sword,
38:31with those who killed him,
38:32with this blind eye of mine,
38:33that I will fight,
38:35For our master, peace and blessings be upon him,
38:37girded with a sword.
38:38Gift of jewelry,
38:39He came to Uhud,
38:40When we saw our master, peace be upon him,
38:42calmed down.
38:43So my brothers,
38:45For Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
38:46What does prophet mean?
38:48It means someone whose absence is unbearable.
38:50For example, whose absence can we not bear?
38:53Lack of money?
38:55The absence of women?
38:56The absence of a car?
38:58To the absence of a home?
38:59So why do we suffer?
39:02For example, what is the absence of which makes us sad?
39:04Can't stand it?
39:05Are we helpless?
39:07Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum,
39:09Our Prophet (peace be upon him)
39:12He suffered from nothing but his absence.
39:15There is no helpless left.
39:16My brothers, no absence has ever saddened him except his absence.
39:20If he is there, life is the most beautiful for him,
39:23He is like a man whose life would be a misery without him.
39:27Therefore, those who know how much their existence costs in springs,
39:31They could understand the agony of his absence.
39:33Therefore, the biggest evil or saddest situation for them is,
39:40It was because our Prophet (peace be upon him) was not with him.
39:44Therefore, let us ask ourselves, my brothers and sisters, as 21st century Muslims.
39:50For the sake of God, take your hand and your conscience and ask a question.
39:52When you are alone in a room,
39:54sitting at a desk in a workplace,
39:56press a button for a moment,
39:59unplug it,
40:00get rid of the world,
40:01Then think about it, my brothers.
40:03Regarding his absence,
40:05So, what do you think, for example?
40:07It's really about his absence one day.
40:10Have there been times when you cried?
40:12Oh my God, if only it were him,
40:14Our troubles, our worries, our sorrows were of no concern to us,
40:18Were there any moments when we said "trot"?
40:20Oh my God, if only it were him,
40:22I would take on all the troubles,
40:24When you say, "As long as he was with me"
40:27flowing from your eyes, flowing from your eyes,
40:29My brothers, have there been times when drops wet your prayer rugs?
40:33If not,
40:35Our master Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) who was blind,
40:39How can we understand the love he felt for her?
40:42Allah,
40:43his Prophet (peace be upon him)
40:46who can understand the love he feels,
40:48after understanding,
40:50able to internalize and live,
40:52and to be among the believers who make an effort to explain it to people,
40:56May He grant it to each of us and make it effective.
40:59My Lord, grant our minds wisdom,
41:02foresight to our eyes,
41:03May He give love to our hearts.
41:05And praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
