Hasbihal Gençlik Merkezi'nin sevilen Sahabe İklimi Dersleri serisinin 40. bölümüne hoş geldiniz! Bu dersimizde, Peygamber Efendimiz'in (s.a.v.) "Gökler ile yer arasında ondan daha doğru sözlü kimse yoktur" ve "Benim ümmetimin Mesih'i, benim ümmetimin İsa'sı Ebu Zer'dir" diyerek övdüğü, İslam'ın en cesur ve tavizsiz sahabelerinden Hz. Ebu Zer el-Gıfârî'nin (r.a.) ibret dolu hayatını inceliyoruz.

Bu sohbette Hz. Ebu Zer'in hayatından şu kesitlere ve derslere tanıklık edeceksiniz:

🔹 Doğumundan İslam'a: Mekke'ye 250 km uzaklıktaki Gıfar kabilesinde başlayan hayatı, putları reddedişi ve Mekke'de, Daru'l Erkam'da İslam'la şereflenmesi.
🔹 Bitmeyen Cihad Ruhu: Hz.
🔹 Peygamber Efendimiz'den 7 Nasihat: Dostu Resulullah'tan (s.a.v) aldığı ve hayatına tatbik ettiği yedi altın öğüt: 1. Fakirleri ve muhtaçları sevmek. 2. Nimetlerde kendinden aşağıda olanlara bakmak. 3. Akrabayla ilişkiyi kesmemek. 4. Acı da olsa doğruyu söylemek. 5. Kınayıcıların kınamasından korkmamak. 6. Kimseden bir şey istememek. 7. "Lâ havle ve lâ kuvvete illâ billâh" zikrini çokça söylemek.
🔹 Yalnız Yaşayıp Yalnız Ölmesi: Hz. Osman'ın isteğiyle Rebeze çölüne çekilmesi ve Peygamber Efendimiz'in "Ebu Zer yalnız yaşar, yalnız ölür ve yalnız diriltilir" müjdesinin Abdullah ibn Mes'ud'un şahitliğiyle nasıl gerçekleştiği.

Bu ders, günümüz Müslümanlarının yöneticilerle ilişkilerinden sosyal adalete, israftan cihat anlayışına kadar birçok konuda Hz. Ebu Zer'in hayatından nasıl ilham alabileceğini gözler önüne seriyor.

Döküm
00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:07Elhamdulillahi Rabbil amin. Peace be upon you, O Lord of the worlds. Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah, Muhammad and his family and companions.
00:15Surely Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet.
00:17Therefore, O imams, send blessings and salutations to the Messenger of Allah in complete submission.
00:22My dear believing brothers, we were trying to translate the life books of our Master Abu Dharr-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him), who shone in the sky of our Master, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), here.
00:34Hopefully we will continue where we left off this week.
00:38Brothers and sisters, as you know, our Prophet Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) was born in 571 AD, in a tribe known as the Ghifar tribe, which is 250 km away from Mecca and 200 km away from Medina.
00:53Later, when he was 37 years old, he threw a stone at an idol known as manat, which he had worshipped before meeting our Prophet (peace be upon him).
01:04And since that idol could not protect itself from this stone, you, as an idol and a god, could not even protect yourself from this small stone.
01:13He came to such a conscientious, such a rational conclusion, asking how he could protect someone like me, who is your servant, and then he took an axe in his hand and destroyed the idol he worshipped as menat.
01:26And then he came to our Prophet (peace be upon him) and believed in the religion that our Prophet (peace be upon him) had brought in that place known as Darul Arqam, the invitation center of Islam, in Mecca al-Mukarrama.
01:41And our Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "O Abu Dharr, you will not come until I call you and you will remain in your tribe."
01:49And for 15 years, he followed the words of our Prophet (peace be upon him) and listened to his words and remained away from our Prophet (peace be upon him) until the Battle of the Trench in the 6th year of the Hijra.
02:03and he came to Medina during the Battle of the Trench and spent 6 years with our Prophet (peace be upon him).
02:11After the death of our Prophet (peace be upon him), Abu Zar al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) participated in the Ridla wars during the caliphate of our Prophet Abu Bakr.
02:23that is, he participated in the wars to punish those who apostatized and never left the side of Abu Bakr for a moment.
02:31After the death of our Prophet Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), he participated in the conquest of Egypt together with the armies established by our Prophet Omar (may Allah be pleased with him).
02:41My brothers, our Master Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) was present at the conquest of Jerusalem, and he came to these lands until the conquest of Ammuryen, which we know as Elmedagh, and Afyon.
02:54In fact, during the time of our Prophet, Osman (may Allah be pleased with him), who was 74 years old, they came to conquer Cyprus, which we know as Northern Cyprus.
03:06and as a grandfather with a bent back at the age of 74, he placed his name on the pages of history as one of the Islamic mujahideen who waged jihad in the land of Cyprus, where he came from.
03:18Look, my beautiful brothers, what comes to mind when we say Afyon today? It's cream, right?
03:25What comes to mind when we think of Kayseri? It's sausage, right, Mehmet Abi?
03:28What comes to mind when we think of Konya? Etlekmek.
03:31When we think of Antep, we think of dessert. When we think of Urfa, we think of Adana kebabs, right?
03:37I swear, when they thought of Urfa, Antep, Konya, jihad came to their mind.
03:45In other words, they were going to Kayseri to take Islam to where we went to eat sausage.
03:51They were going to Afyon, where we had gone on the Kaymak ship, to establish an Islamic state.
03:57So, that was the difference between us and the companions.
04:00We think of sausage, we think of kaymak.
04:04Whenever there was a situation related to these cities, jihad came to their mind.
04:10The action of bringing Islam there was coming.
04:13Again, my beautiful brothers, let me ask you, what comes to your mind when you think of Ankara?
04:1806 is coming, right?
04:19What comes to your mind when you think of Konya?
04:21The 40th is coming, right?
04:23What comes to your mind when you think of Istanbul?
04:2534 is coming, right?
04:26When you say Kocaeli, 41 comes to mind, right?
04:28Look, even I'm counting, right?
04:30Or what else comes to mind when you think of Yozgat?
04:3466 license plate or something is coming.
04:36When they think of cities, they don't think of license plate names,
04:40rather than coming up with famous food names from that city
04:44Such an insightful look came to their minds as to whether Islam had gone there or not.
04:52And for this reason they were trying to bring Islam to those places.
04:56That's why he is 74 years old, and although he should be a grandfather whose only job is to go to the mosque 5 times a day with a cane in his hand,
05:06Our master Abu Zeler Ghifari, radiallahu anhu, aged 74, was going to conquer Cyprus, my dear brothers.
05:15Look, my brothers, what have they taken from this nation?
05:18Unfortunately, in modern times, this capitalist, secular order is one of the two biggest concepts that our Ummah has taken away from us.
05:26The concept of desire, they took desire and made this ummah dull, the second was the concept of jihad.
05:34They took the concept of jihad from us so much that in this last century a wind blew and a man came up and said peace at home, peace in the world.
05:42and brought the Muslims to a place far from jihad.
05:46When Muslims became distant from jihad, they became in a state where they did not know how to hold a weapon and did not know what jihad was.
05:54and right now it really isn't?
05:57Perhaps many of us are believers who would not know how to use weapons if we went to war with Israel.
06:02Isn't that right?
06:03In other words, they turned us into people who didn't know what a grip meant, what a magazine meant, what a fourteen-barreled gun meant.
06:09From where?
06:10They said that if we alienate Muslims from jihad, Muslims will not be able to take any action against the oppressors and unbelievers on earth.
06:20But what message did our master Abu Zelal Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) give to our Ummah when he went to these battlefields with his sword in his hand at the age of 74?
06:31He was saying, “Never give up on jihad, I am a companion of the prophet who taught you 14 centuries ago that life is faith and jihad,” right?
06:42Here, my beautiful brothers, the poet said it beautifully: If you want to fight in the country and the world, be ready for war.
06:51Without jihad there can never be peace, without jihad there can never be peace.
06:56Look, just yesterday, two murderers who shed blood all over the world came together and said, "Hamas should put down its weapons," right?
07:06They said that if Hamas withdraws from there, we will withdraw from Gaza, right?
07:09So, what do these two unbelievers actually know?
07:13They are calling on Hamas to disarm, etc., because they know that when Muslims lay down their weapons, when Muslims abandon jihad, it will be easier to eat Muslims.
07:27And unfortunately, he went there and met with that Trump infidel.
07:32What are these supposedly mercenary leaders of Islamic countries doing by tweeting about the agreements made by Trump and saying they support his statements?
07:47They are giving a message of support.
07:48The reason here is that Muslims should stay away from jihad, Muslims should not put jihad in any corner of their lives, and because the biggest loss of our Ummah right now is jihad, they have turned us into an inactive, senseless Ummah, my beautiful brothers.
08:09And what did those who removed jihad from our lives say?
08:13Some Sufi schools said that the greatest jihad is the jihad against the soul, and what did they do with the jihad against the enemy?
08:21They tried to keep it away from us.
08:24Whenever there was a resistance movement in the name of the ummah, they started calling the people who were leading that resistance movement terrorists, right?
08:32What did they say whenever a scholar or mujahid who was fighting against America and Israel appeared and tried to gather Muslims in a place and stage an uprising against them?
08:44They said that they abandoned the real jihad, the jihad against the self, and started to slander them by saying that they were doing a jihad that the Messenger of Allah had not ordered.
08:56So, rather than calling the real terrorists terrorists, if the world is now seeing the real mujahideen as terrorists, know that unfortunately, Christianity that has entered into them and some Sufi discourses that have passed through them have unfortunately brought the situation to this point.
09:17Then, my beautiful brothers, our master Abu Zelle Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) told us 14 centuries ago that I, a 74-year-old, old and decrepit man, went to Cyprus to perform the act of jihad, the greatest sunnah that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had left us.
09:35Maybe I'm not saying you should get up from here and go to Gaza, but doesn't it at least give us good messages to help Allah's religion with your faith, your tongue, your hands, and to resist when an event like Gaza happens to you?
09:54Hopefully, we will be among the believing monotheists who understand these messages he has given, my brothers.
10:00Look, my beautiful brothers, as you know, after the death of our master Abu Bakr, our master came to the caliphate for 2.5 years, then our master Omar, and 10 years later, during the time of our master Osman, radiallahu anhu, our master Osman lasted for 12 years.
10:16At that time, just as our master Abu Dharr obeyed our master Osman and our master Abu Bakr, just as he obeyed our master Omar, so too did he obey our master Osman.
10:26And during the time of our master Osman (may Allah be pleased with him), Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) went to Damascus.
10:33Our master Osman informed Damascus that Muawiyah was the governor, and while Muawiyah was the governor in Damascus, our master Abu Dharr would go there and when he arrived there.
10:42Look, he will live the life that our Prophet (peace be upon him) said about him, he will live his words.
10:49What did our prophet say?
10:51He said, "By God, there is no man between the heavens and the earth who is as truthful as Abu Dharr."
11:00He even said, "Our master, peace and blessings be upon him, by Allah, said that the Messiah of my Ummah, the Jesus of my Ummah is Abu Dharr."
11:11Because Abu Dharr walks on the earth with the asceticism of Jesus, he walks on the earth with the asceticism of Jesus.
11:17We will now explain the stance of a man of asceticism, that is, a man inclined to the world.
11:24He came and saw that Muawiyah, the governor of Damascus, had built a huge palace.
11:30He stood up and confronted him and said, "Oh Muawiyah, I swear to God, if you had this palace built with the money of the ummah, you are a treacherous man and a traitor."
11:45He said, "What you have done is a betrayal to the ummah. You are also a traitor."
11:49"No, if you had this palace built with your own money, you are a wasteful and extravagant man," he said.
11:58He said, "The work you have done is a waste and you are a wasteful man."
12:01Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar.
12:04My brothers, if only we had brought our master Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) to this day.
12:09I wonder if the great devil who rules the world, even though there are 150 rooms in the White House, is in Washington, D.C., even though there are 150 rooms in the White House.
12:22What would Abu Dharr say with his asceticism when he saw those who unfortunately built 1500 palaces in our own country, palaces with state property, public property, palaces with 1500 rooms?
12:36Do you remember?
12:37In the past, there were black cars that belonged to the public, to the state.
12:42What was Fatih Hoca writing in small white letters on those black cars?
12:49It said it was for official use only.
12:51Allahu akbar.
12:53But currently, there is not a single public vehicle that has the sign "for official use only" on it.
12:59So why did those who removed it remove it?
13:02They probably removed the official service permit so they could carry out their families' personal business in one place with this vehicle allocated to them by the state.
13:16Now, when I say these, my brothers say, "Teacher, you are engaging in politics."
13:21No, no, I am not involved in politics.
13:23I don't talk about politics.
13:24I'm talking about halal and haram.
13:27If you are handling your personal affairs with the money you have collected from the people and the car the state has given you,
13:38I swear, my brothers, I am speaking with the heart of Abu Dharr who said, "This is treason."
13:43Allahu akbar.
13:45Look, our master Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) who walked on earth with the asceticism of Jesus, has caused trouble for our master Muawiyah in Damascus.
13:55One day, Muawiyah ascended the pulpit to deliver a Friday sermon.
13:58When he climbed the pulpit and was about to deliver the sermon, he stood up and said, "O governor!"
14:07He said, "By Allah, by Allah, by Talahi, you can never give a sermon without feeding the hungry people in Damascus."
14:15Allahu akbar.
14:16He said, "O governor, you cannot deliver a sermon without feeding the hungry in Damascus."
14:22What would Abu Zarr say, my brothers, if he had seen heads of state who, while earning 250,000 liras, deemed 22,000 liras worthy of people subject to minimum wage?
14:35Again, in the same way, I mentioned in the sermon: What would Abu Dharr say, my brothers, if he saw the imams and preachers who listened to the instructions of an imam and a mufti coming from Ankara to feed the hungry but did not listen to the instructions of Allah?
14:53What would Abu Dharr say to the imams who read the sermons that announced democracy?
15:00If Allahu Akbar or my beautiful brothers had seen the preachers and imams who were afraid to warn the upper echelons and only warned the people, saying, "Do not drink coke or cola, do not use Hacı Shakir, do not boycott these, it is obligatory, do not buy these, what would Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) say to my beautiful brothers?
15:29We understand now why this society is not getting better, right?
15:33My brothers, we as a society are in this situation because we do not have fearless, courageous, faithful and dignified scholars like Abu Dharr among us who will say to the wrongdoing leaders in our leadership that no, you are treacherous, you are betraying, you are wasteful and you are a spendthrift.
15:54Let us pray that God will raise among us believers like Abu Dharr, who are fearless, courageous, and who demonstrate the requirements of faith.
16:05My beautiful brothers, one day our master Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the crowd and said, O Muawiyah. It became clear to Muawiyah.
16:16O Muawiyah, he said, by God, the governor is such a person that he gets hungry first, then he gets full after his people, Allahu Akbar said.
16:31He said that a governor is the one who gets hungry first, then satisfies his people, in other words, what our master Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) did to explain the qualities that a ruler should have, my beautiful brothers.
16:45But right now, for example, think about it and look at the people who are in charge of the countries. Who goes hungry first, my brothers? Isn't the people hungry first?
16:53First of all, the people are hungry, for example, look at the poverty line in Türkiye right now, look at the figures given by TÜİK, the poverty line in this country is 91 thousand liras, and likewise, the hunger line, my brothers, is 29 thousand liras.
17:09I mean, think about it, in a country where the hunger threshold is 29 thousand liras, who gets hungry faster, a man working minimum wage earning 22 thousand liras, or a member of parliament whose salary is 250 thousand liras, my brothers?
17:25Allahu Akbar.
17:26What does Abu Dharr tell us?
17:28Explains the management mechanism of Islam.
17:30The governor, the administrator, the president, the man who gets hungry before his people and who feeds his people first because he thinks of them, gives us clues about how a system that should be based on merit will be like, my dear brothers.
17:51Allahu Akbar.
17:52So why?
17:54My brothers, it is not impermissible for a person to earn a high salary or drive a nice car, but if you are a leader, a leader, an imam, a ruler of a place, shouldn't you be a good example for them?
18:10Think, for example, one day, when our Prophet (peace be upon him) saw Fatima, whom he loved very much, hugging her neck as his mother and calling her his mother, the first person he visited after every jihad and every expedition, and calling her his mother, he said, Fatima, when he saw these bracelets on her arm,
18:29When he said, "Tomorrow, O my beautiful daughter, do you want Allah to wear rings of fire on you on the Day of Judgment instead of those bracelets on your arm?" Fatima radiyallahu anhu went and donated those bracelets.
18:44We are not drawing such a conclusion from here, are we?
18:47It is haram for women to wear gold bracelets.
18:49No, no.
18:50The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) does not mention that, O Fatima, you are not an ordinary person, you are not an ordinary woman, you are the daughter of the Prophet, you are the daughter of someone who is in the position of the greatest representative of Islam and who is shown as an example by people.
19:07Therefore, when people look at you, they should remember the afterlife more than the life in this world.
19:15Therefore, he said to him, "You should be a person who reminds people of the afterlife rather than a person who reminds people of this world."
19:25Otherwise, it is certainly permissible for women to wear gold as an ornament, my brothers.
19:30But if you are a teacher somewhere, an imam somewhere, a preacher somewhere, or a president somewhere, then shouldn't you be more careful with your common people and your subjects?
19:44Look, my beautiful brothers, later our master Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) complained about our master Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him).
19:55To whom? He complained to our master Osman (may Allah be pleased with him).
20:00He said, "This Abu Dharr is not giving me any peace here. Please call him here."
20:05Why don't you give my beautiful brothers peace?
20:07Because Abu Dharr knows the responsibility he has on him because of a man about whom our Prophet (peace be upon him), the man of God, said, "There is no man between the heavens and the earth as truthful as he is."
20:20That's why, my brothers, I warn those who are in charge of the state about this.
20:27Why? Today, for example, we cannot warn the people at the head of the state.
20:33Because we don't have an Abu Dharr.
20:35Think about it, for example, the state gives a pension of 14 thousand lira to retirees.
20:39And when a retired person goes to a state hospital to get an implant or something, they don't just try to put an implant in, they also try to remove the tooth, right?
20:51But the same state gives its own members of parliament, my dear brothers, the right to get 12 implants from the state budget.
21:00This includes their children.
21:02Allahu Akbar.
21:04Allahu Akbar.
21:05Think about it, a man who has paid premiums for the insurance for 25 years, receives a salary of 15 thousand liras.
21:14But just by entering that parliament and serving as an MP for 2 years, the man receives a salary of perhaps 150 thousand liras with the 2-year bonus he paid, and he continues to receive that salary for the rest of his life.
21:30What is the reason?
21:31Because Abu Dharr does not exist.
21:32There are no scholars like Abu Dharr who will say that this is wrong, that it is a waste, and warn the administrators.
21:39There must be scholars who are harassed by the administrators and complained about to someone, right?
21:50But of course we don't say all of them.
21:52We exalt those who are good.
21:53But in general, unfortunately, today the people we would call the palace mullahs have reached the level of scholars.
22:01What can we do when managers are more likely to flatter them to please them than to complain about them?
22:11We can see it, my brothers.
22:12Because can someone who does not have the heart of Abu Dharr be an opponent?
22:17Can one be a supporter of the truth?
22:19Of course not.
22:20Then, my beautiful brothers, let us try to be little Abu Dharrs.
22:24Even if we are not scholars, orators, or teachers, let us be the little Abu Dharrs of our own world.
22:32But let us be careful with our style and make an effort, a fight, to fix things without breaking, spilling, bending or twisting.
22:42My brothers, our Master, Osman (may Allah be pleased with him), called him.
22:46Abu Dharr al-Ghifari came to Medina.
22:48Our Prophet, Osman (may Allah be pleased with him), could not keep him in Medina either.
22:52He was not comfortable in Medina either.
22:55And there he started criticizing people for the mistakes and wrongs they had done.
23:01And he said, Abu Dharr said, just as you are not a man of Mecca,
23:07Just as the Prophet (peace be upon him) sent you back to the ghaffar,
23:11He said, "I also request you, you are not a man of Medina."
23:14You are going to make things complicated here, please don't make my job difficult, he said.
23:18He said, "I can't bear you either."
23:19But he said, "The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) designated it as a place to care for his camels,
23:26He said, "Go to Rebezi and continue living there."
23:29And our Master Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “Okay.”
23:32And Hazrat Hasan saw Abu Dharr in the streets of Medina,
23:37Hasan used to address him like that,
23:38When you asked, "Uncle, what happened? Why are you sad?"
23:41He said, "My Hasan," he said,
23:42I said, after the migration he said,
23:46I fell into the state of being a Bedouin, he said after the migration,
23:50He said Osman, he said me, he made me a Bedouin again, he said.
23:54And after saying this, my brothers went to Rebezi, where Osman had said, without any opposition.
24:02Look what we taught here, Abu Dharr?
24:05The emir has made a decision.
24:07There is a man at the head of the consultation,
24:09This man is the caliph,
24:11made a decision about it,
24:12which is hard for his soul,
24:14He made a decision that he did not want.
24:16But even though he is sad,
24:18drinking that bitter sherbet,
24:20what did he do?
24:21My brothers obeyed the words of that caliph.
24:24So what is Abu Dharr teaching us here?
24:26It teaches what consultation is, right?
24:28As Muslims, we also consult with our spouses and children at home regarding a particular issue.
24:36After consultation on this matter,
24:38When a negative situation occurs as a result of the decision we have taken,
24:44What do we say immediately?
24:45Didn't I say it would be like this?
24:47Didn't I say that this consultation decision is not good?
24:49This is not consultation, my brothers.
24:51This is not consultation.
24:53Let's say we are sitting in an association or a foundation with Muslims,
24:57We are holding a consultation.
24:59And someone has to say the last word, but unfortunately the last word goes to a veteran who was there,
25:06And as people who think we have the right not to let others speak, can we understand Abu Dharr?
25:12Or we create a backstage.
25:14We make a decision, then after we get out of here,
25:17Well, sir, we made this decision but I don't think it's right or something like that.
25:21A man who knows Abu Dharr is not a man who does these things.
25:26He is a young man, he is brave, he is a man of his word.
25:29The day we follow the decision of that consultation, even if it is not pleasing to our soul, to please Allah,
25:37My dear brothers, we too will be brave, brave, strong and like a fortress like Abu Dharr.
25:45May Allah grant us all the opportunity and enable us to display a stance like Abu Dharr.
25:51My brothers, look, he will then stay in the Rebeze for two years, and then people will come around him.
25:57Abu Dharr says, you are living in a tent, we are wondering about a question.
26:02What is that question?
26:04Why don't you take any stuff to your tent or house?
26:06Allahu Akbar!
26:08When you ask why you don't take any stuff to your tent or house,
26:12He says because I am packing my things for the house I am going to,
26:18My brothers say that I am packing my things for the house I am going to.
26:22Allahu Akbar!
26:24Look, let's go into a little detail here.
26:27Someone came to one of the teachers, my teacher Ismail,
26:30he said my teacher said,
26:32Is it permissible to buy a washing machine for home, said Mehmet Hoca?
26:35He said no.
26:37He said that it is not permissible to buy a washing machine for home.
26:39My teacher said, "You too," and he said, "I think you're exaggerating a little bit."
26:43What do you mean, it is not permissible to buy a washing machine for home?
26:46Okay, the teacher said, let me ask you something.
26:48Why is it permissible to buy a washing machine for home?
26:51The man answered.
26:53He said, my teacher said,
26:55"Who will wash all that laundry?" he said.
26:57Allahu Akbar!
26:58The Hodja put the stone in its place and said,
27:01My son said,
27:02Islam does not forbid stealing a washing machine from your home, but
27:06For example, the real problem is, he said,
27:09so many clothes,
27:10"What are all those things doing in that house?" he said.
27:14So, if we look at the biggest reason why technological devices have entered our lives, my brothers,
27:21There's really a buying frenzy,
27:23There's a consumption frenzy, isn't there?
27:25For example, if there weren't so many items,
27:27Maybe if we had 2-3 items to wear,
27:30Maybe we won't need a washing machine either.
27:32So, unfortunately, waste leads to other wastes, right?
27:36Abu Dharr did not carry things to his house in this world,
27:40Let's go to the homes of many of my brothers and sisters, including me,
27:44I swear, let a transportation company come,
27:46We have a truckload of stuff, my brothers.
27:49Allahu Akbar!
27:51Can we understand these people's desire to go to the afterlife?
27:54We understand.
27:55Because while they were designing their home in the afterlife,
27:58Because we designed our home in this world, Mehmet Abi,
28:03We want to stay in this world.
28:05Because from the place where man has built,
28:09He does not want to go to the place he destroyed.
28:13Therefore, whoever is building what,
28:15wherever he is building,
28:16wherever he grooms,
28:17with the eagerness to go there,
28:19lives with excitement.
28:21Therefore, our Master Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said,
28:24He has once again set us such an example.
28:26My beautiful brothers are 82 years old.
28:29In Rebezi, in the desert,
28:31Imagine a family living alone in a tent.
28:34Then his wife known as Ummuzer
28:37and he has his daughter with him,
28:38Ummuzer came and said,
28:40Abu Dharr said,
28:41"What trouble have you caused us?" he said.
28:44He said, "You should have kept quiet too."
28:45Maybe he said, "We should have stayed in Medina."
28:47He said, "You should have kept quiet too."
28:49"We could have been a family living in more comfortable conditions," he said.
28:53We could have had good salaries.
28:55Below us the state has brought upon us
28:57It could have been the latest model Mercedes.
28:59What are we doing in this desert, Abu Dharr?
29:02Now you're old too.
29:04I see that you will surrender your soul soon.
29:07I am an old lady.
29:09We have a girl here.
29:11If you kill us, how will we bury you?
29:13When he said,
29:15Our Master Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said,
29:17Peace be upon our Prophet
29:18a man of such faith that,
29:20He said don't worry,
29:21He said, "I am Ümmüzer."
29:22You said,
29:23He said nothing, don't worry.
29:25He asked why.
29:26He said,
29:27one day he said,
29:28While sitting next to our Prophet (peace be upon him),
29:31he said,
29:32One day will come,
29:34from those present here,
29:36someone,
29:38a righteous person,
29:39to shroud,
29:41and the funeral prayer,
29:42He said he would take me to school.
29:44And,
29:45Everyone who was there died,
29:47I am the only one left,
29:48so don't worry,
29:50Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
29:52that someone will come here,
29:54and that righteous person,
29:55that he would be disgusted by my funeral arrangements,
29:57gave me good news,
29:58I believe in him,
29:59he said.
30:00Allahu akbar.
30:01As much as Abu Dharr believes,
30:03Do we believe, my brothers?
30:05I swear we are afraid of the USA,
30:07We do not fear God.
30:09I swear they trust the USA,
30:11They do not trust in God.
30:13Abraham, peace be upon him,
30:14Wasn't it Allah who saved us from the fire?
30:16In front of Moses,
30:17Wasn't it God who opened the Red Sea?
30:20Likewise,
30:21Think about it,
30:23Jesus, peace be upon him,
30:25Wasn't it Allah who caused death in the heavens?
30:27God saved him from the Jews,
30:29Gaza today,
30:30If he wanted to save again,
30:32Can't my brothers save us?
30:33But it saves,
30:35we have this Abu Dharr,
30:36As much as he believes in the prophet of Allah,
30:39If only there had been a little faith.
30:40Commercial concerns,
30:44political concerns,
30:46because of some worldly fears,
30:49With God's help,
30:50even from the future,
30:52To a nation that worries, Allah
30:53Why should my beautiful brothers help?
30:55But look, Abu Dharr,
30:56He said don't worry,
30:58be comfortable.
30:59Those who trust in God will find comfort, my brothers.
31:01He who trusts in Allah will find salvation,
31:03finds peace.
31:04and indeed his wife looked ahead,
31:09A group of 14 people comes from up ahead in the middle of the desert.
31:13He approached, approached, came.
31:15He stopped that group.
31:16Then he said,
31:17he said, "Come on,
31:18inside he said,
31:19Abu Dharr, one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, will die
31:22and from there little legs,
31:25A small man got out.
31:27Maybe his legs are small,
31:29maybe he is small in size
31:30but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
31:33when you put his legs on the scales
31:36I swear it is as heavy as Uhud
31:38the man whose deeds he said would be righteous
31:41Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) is our master.
31:45And Abdullah Ibn Masud radiyallahu anh
31:47entered,
31:48He saw Abu Dharr,
31:49started to cry
31:50and he said,
31:51By Allah, the Messenger of Allah spoke the truth.
31:54The Messenger of Allah spoke the truth.
31:56He said,
31:57Abu Dharr lives alone,
31:59dies alone
32:00and there will be only the resurrection, my brothers said.
32:03Allahu Akbar.
32:04This Ummah,
32:06saw that he lived alone,
32:08He saw himself die alone.
32:09Hopefully, as the whole Ummah,
32:10when we too go to the afterlife tomorrow,
32:13This hadith of our Prophet (peace be upon him)
32:15is real,
32:17we will see there.
32:17The day we saw Abu Dharr resurrected alone.
32:21Allahu Akbar.
32:23And he said,
32:25Ibn Mas'ud asked, "Did you come?"
32:27Our Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
32:30He said, "Are you the righteous person?"
32:32My brothers, they were such men,
32:35only in this world,
32:37they pray behind him,
32:39more than a man,
32:41will bury themselves,
32:42They were people who cared about who the man was.
32:44Allahu Akbar.
32:48In the restaurant that cooks and brings the food to us,
32:50rather than wondering what kind of man the cook was,
32:55Who will bury my body?
32:57Who will perform my funeral prayer?
33:00These people were people who were worried and anxious.
33:04Because of this anxiety they are experiencing,
33:07He is a righteous servant of Allah,
33:09When Ibn Mas'ud came,
33:11and would soon shroud him.
33:14But he had a will,
33:15Abu Dharr radiyallahu anhu, our Prophet.
33:18What do you think his will was?
33:20Walking on earth with the asceticism of Jesus,
33:22How can a man make a will?
33:24You know, a man who has dealt with managers,
33:26What do you think he might say?
33:27He said,
33:28Abdullah said,
33:29he said, please
33:30my shroud,
33:32in public service,
33:34did not do any work,
33:35a man who has not served,
33:38He said take it with his hand.
33:39He said, "My shroud"
33:40He said, "Buy from such a man."
33:41When Abu Dharr said this,
33:45A young man came from there,
33:47He said,
33:48I swear he said,
33:48I have never held any government office,
33:51This is my executioner,
33:52My robe said,
33:53he said take it,
33:53He said, "Give it to Abu Dharr."
33:54And our Master Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said,
33:57deceased,
33:58that young man gave,
33:59with a robe,
34:00Abdullah ibn Mas'ud shrouded him,
34:01and performing the funeral prayer,
34:03him 80 years old,
34:05In Rebeze,
34:06my brothers who have been buried.
34:08At work,
34:08Thus he surrendered his soul to God.
34:10My brothers and sisters,
34:11and finally,
34:13Our Master Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) told us,
34:15from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him,
34:17He narrated 261 hadiths.
34:20Look,
34:20Examine our companions,
34:22the hadiths that all of them narrated,
34:24hadiths that are in line with their nature.
34:27Allahu akbar.
34:28Well,
34:30themselves,
34:31he has done many such actions in his life,
34:34They narrated the hadiths.
34:36At work,
34:36Abu Dharr radiyallahu anhu our Prophet also said,
34:39From our Prophet (peace be upon him),
34:41from these 261 hadiths,
34:43I hope for you,
34:45Let me offer you the most famous hadith,
34:47Then let me give you my word,
34:49and then all the words,
34:50to your heart,
34:52Let me leave it to your heart,
34:53and finish my speech.
34:55Look,
34:55Our Prophet Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) says,
34:57My friend said to me,
34:59no companions,
35:00He did not use such an expression for our Prophet (peace be upon him).
35:04Except for Abu Dharr.
35:05My friend told me,
35:06So who is he?
35:07Muhammad (peace be upon him).
35:09He said,
35:10Abu Dharr,
35:11love the poor and needy.
35:13Allahu akbar.
35:14What does it mean to love the poor and needy?
35:17It means sitting at the same table with them.
35:19When he is the boss,
35:21having food brought to his office from somewhere else,
35:24Rather than being a man who sends waste food to his factory workers,
35:30It means being a boss who is at the same table with your workers.
35:34This is it, my brothers.
35:35It means to love the poor and needy.
35:38Give money to charities,
35:40and then in a way that makes it unclear where you sent it,
35:44Okay, it can go to the poor,
35:45We are not saying that he should not go.
35:46But the real thing is to be with the poor,
35:49in order to observe their situation,
35:51meeting with them,
35:53Isn't it, my brothers, to personally deliver that money to them?
35:57Let me ask,
35:58How many poor people do you know around you?
36:00How many poor people do you know, my brothers?
36:03People are calling each other loudly,
36:05Sir, do you know anyone who will give zakat?
36:07Teacher, do you know anyone that I can donate to?
36:11For example, how many poor people do we know?
36:14No, my brothers,
36:15We don't know anyone who is poor,
36:16We don't know anyone poor.
36:18In fact, we received such a blessing,
36:19Even the poor have become arrogant,
36:22We've come to a point where we're trying to show that we're not poor, right?
36:26Two,
36:27in terms of what God has given as blessings in the world,
36:31not to those above you,
36:33Look at those below you, Abu Dharr said.
36:36Allahu Akbar,
36:38This is the formula for happiness, my brothers.
36:40He has a house,
36:41he has a car,
36:42Why don't I have a home?
36:43Why don't I have a car?
36:45Can a person be happy if he says this, my brothers?
36:47But if he says this,
36:49Well, at least I have feet,
36:51At least I have a house to pay the rent,
36:56but some stay in tents,
36:58If one looks at the situation as people falling under the bombs in Gaza,
37:01Then wouldn't the formula for happiness be solved?
37:03So what is the biggest reason for our unhappiness right now?
37:07In terms of the blessings given by Allah,
37:09We look up to those above us.
37:11He has it,
37:12There is no one better than me.
37:13The furniture set in his house was renewed,
37:15Why was my house renovated?
37:17Unfortunately, we have women who say it has not been renewed, right?
37:20Well, those who don't have a bed to sleep in,
37:23There are people who do not have flour to eat.
37:25We fed our hungry stomachs,
37:27Now we will sleep soundly,
37:29If we were to be grateful, saying Alhamdulillah, wouldn't we find happiness?
37:34Fly,
37:35said my friend,
37:36Even if your relatives cut off relations with you,
37:39Never cut off contact with them.
37:42You may not like your father-in-law,
37:44You may not like your brother-in-law,
37:46You may not like your mother-in-law,
37:48but still to continue their human relations,
37:53The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave such advice.
37:56Four, tell the truth even if it is bitter, Abu Dharr said.
38:00Allahu Akbar,
38:02The truth may be against your wife,
38:05The truth may be against your children,
38:07The truth may be against you too,
38:09tell the truth no matter what.
38:12That is, against the believers,
38:13Against Muslims,
38:15He gave the advice, "Be sincere, Abu Dharr."
38:18Our Master, peace and blessings be upon him.
38:21Five,
38:21Never while Abu Dharr was inviting Islam,
38:26He said, "Do not be afraid of the condemnation of the condemners."
38:28Well,
38:29because they will call you radical,
38:32because they will call you marginal,
38:34because they will call you a terrorist,
38:36because they will call you different things,
38:39don't be afraid,
38:40The invitation of Allah,
38:42clearly,
38:44Tell people about Abu Dharr,
38:46His friend gave him such advice.
38:50Six,
38:51Abu Dharr said, from no one
38:53don't ask for anything.
38:55So don't beg, Abu Dharr,
38:56Begging cannot be the morality of a believer.
39:00The morality of a believer is not to beg,
39:02The morality of a believer is to strive, Abu Dharr,
39:05It is to strive, said Abu Dharr.
39:06And although Abu Dharr suffered so much misery,
39:09so much poverty,
39:10despite suffering from poverty,
39:12no companions,
39:14Abu Dharr also opened his hands like this:
39:16because he expected something from someone,
39:18My brothers, they have not narrated anything or made any narration.
39:22Allahu Akbar.
39:23And the seventh one,
39:25He said,
39:26Our Master, peace and blessings be upon him,
39:28Abu Dharr,
39:29There is no strength nor power except in Allah, the Most High, the Almighty.
39:34Say the word often,
39:37He said to say it often.
39:38My brothers and sisters,
39:39I hope we too,
39:40Let's try to say this word often.
39:43Here is our Master Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him),
39:45From our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
39:48heard these words,
39:50and with these words,
39:51to act,
39:53until the end of his life,
39:55a fight,
39:55an endeavor,
39:56has made an effort.
39:58God took his life as an example,
40:00to be among the believers,
40:01May He grant it to each of us and make it effective.
40:03My Lord,
40:04wisdom to our minds,
40:06foresight to our eyes,
40:07May He give love to our hearts.
40:09And praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
40:10Thank you for watching.
