A cattle thief acted recklessly by pushing a stolen cow out of a moving car in Nenasi, Pekan on Sunday (Nov 30). 00:22He said the incident, which occurred around 4.45pm, was thwarted thanks to the swift action

00:29of a 33-year-old mechanic.

00:32The complainant, who was at a workshop, had been alerted by his uncle about a suspicious

00:36car in the estate area and immediately went to the scene.

00:40He spotted a car carrying a cow believed to be stolen and gave chase.

00:45During the chase, the complainant saw the suspect open the rear door and push the cow onto the

00:50roadside.

00:51The case is being investigated under Sections 379 and 511 of the Penal Code.

00:56Efforts to track down the suspect are ongoing.
