00:00Lastly, I say your name, we hear your name a lot around New York City
00:05because there's a report by one of our colleagues here at the New York Post
00:08that your name, Marcus Freeman, is in high regard amongst the Giants facility and building.
00:15Obviously, they fired Brian Dable.
00:17What does that mean to you when you hear something like that,
00:20that your name is in high regards with a team like the New York Giants?
00:25Well, I think the gratitude you have for one even being mentioned
00:29by an organization like that.
00:32I got a lot of respect for all NFL teams, but the history of the Giants is tremendous.
00:38But it's gratitude for me.
00:41It reminds me of the honor that I have to be in a position I have.
00:46I've said that before.
00:48I use that to remind myself of the gratitude that I have for this position
00:54because you wouldn't have said that statement if I didn't have this job
00:58and we weren't having success here.
00:59And it's a reminder for me that the people in our program, the work they put in,
01:06we all put in to have an output that has been pretty successful these past couple of years.
01:11The result of that is being mentioned for, you know, having your name mentioned
01:17for a place like the New York Giants or any other major program.
01:21It's humbling, but I always use it as a reminder to be grateful for what I have
01:26because if you're not grateful for it, I often say you're going to lose it.
