00:00Please welcome your host, Fleur East.
00:23Hello and welcome to Tuesdays It Takes Two on BBC Two and iPlayer.
00:27It's musicals week and a place in the semi-final is on the line.
00:33So it's fair to say the atmosphere is far from footloose and fancy free.
00:37But on the topic of loose feet, at the weekend every heel turn, every toe walk, every fleckle was under the watchful eye, Joanne Clifton.
00:45She is here with Choreography Corner to tell us who stepped things up and who put their foot in it.
00:52Speaking of which, let's see what else is on tonight's shoe.
00:55So, Belle and Jules went to great depths with a jive that sadly didn't go as swimmingly as planned.
01:02But there's no skirting around the fact that Belle brought the fire with her powerful pattern.
01:06An instant reminder of how much of a fighter she is.
01:10And Vito has had a truly winning run on Strictly.
01:13He's won us over with his partnership with Ellie Goldstein, won a place in three Strictly finals and even won the Glitterball itself.
01:21So it's fair to say we'd be at a loss if we couldn't relive all these memories with him tonight.
01:27But before all that, last year, Craig was in charge of overseeing the biggest competition of them all, the Pro Challenge.
01:35But this series, Shirley decided it was her turn to take the reins.
01:39Or as she put it,
01:40Can anybody find me somebody to judge?
01:44The answer? Absolutely.
01:45And here's Shirley is with all the details of this year's challenge.
01:49The Strictly Pro Challenge is back.
01:54Our professional dancers are attempting to set a Guinness World Record
01:59for the most samba whisks performed in 30 seconds.
02:04The whisk must step to the side, cross behind, and replace.
02:09No mistakes sneak past me.
02:14It's never too early for a disqualification from Shirley.
02:19No! This hard time!
02:21I lost it!
02:23Ah!
02:23Only one pro can be victorious.
02:27Welcome to the Strictly Pro Challenge 2025.
02:31Our next contender is not just a professional dancer.
02:38He's an exercise physiologist, a triathlon enthusiast,
02:42and a lover of pastries.
02:43So he's no stranger to a whisk, which could cause a stir.
02:47It's Julian Kayon!
02:48CHEERING
02:49Oh, wow!
02:52CHEERING
02:54Oh, yeah.
03:02Welcome, Jules.
03:03Welcome.
03:04It's your first pro challenge ever.
03:06How good would it be to grab that top spot?
03:09It'd be pretty cool.
03:10I mean, yeah, I'm a little bit nervous.
03:12And, yeah, I've heard a lot about, you know, these pro challenges.
03:15You know, it's a big thing with all the pros,
03:18and it's a, you know, it's a real achievement.
03:20So to get it my first year, I'd be pretty stoked.
03:23Well, the samba was your first dance with Val.
03:25How did you describe the samba whisk step to her?
03:29Honestly, I just showed her the TikTok trend.
03:31Yeah, it's easier.
03:33I just thought that was the easiest way to do it.
03:35Well, before we see how you got on,
03:37let's take a look at the current leaderboard.
03:39It's how it stands.
03:40Johannes right at the top, they were 25.
03:42Diane, they were two.
03:45Yeah.
03:46What?
03:46I wouldn't be laughing.
03:48Let's see how you got on.
03:49Oh, gosh.
03:49I'm super excited about my first pro challenge.
03:55I'm going to go hot and heavy at the start,
03:57and I'm just going to try and hold on for as long as I can.
04:00I've heard it's really easy to get disqualified for the wrong steps,
04:03so hopefully I get a bit of beginner's luck.
04:06Hey, guys.
04:07Hi, Julian.
04:08How are you doing?
04:09I'm good.
04:10I'm a little bit nervous.
04:11I think I'd be a little bit nervous
04:12since it's your very first pro challenge.
04:15Exactly.
04:15And I'm competitive by nature.
04:17I want to make sure I do well, you know?
04:19How do you feel about doing the whisk?
04:21Yeah.
04:22Good.
04:23Will you be going for speed or accuracy?
04:26I think I am just going to go for it and see what comes out.
04:30Well, I'm very excited to see this.
04:32Please, Julian, take centre stage.
04:34Oh, gosh.
04:35All right.
04:36Don't be nervous.
04:37All right.
04:37You do you, Julian.
04:38I got it.
04:38I got it.
04:39This is an official attempt in three, two, one, go.
04:52Keep those legs going.
04:54Come on.
04:54You're doing good.
04:56We've got a nice little bounce going on.
04:57I'm trying.
04:57I'm trying.
04:58We've got the Latin queen here.
04:59I've got to do it justice.
05:0115 seconds.
05:02Keep it moving.
05:03Oh, we're getting it.
05:04Oh, it's going.
05:05Going for it.
05:06I'm emptying the tank.
05:07Let's go.
05:07Oh.
05:07That tank looks empty.
05:09Keep going.
05:12Five, four, three, two, one.
05:17Stop.
05:18I didn't even know what I was doing at the end.
05:20It all just turned into a big mess.
05:22Oh, Julian, well, it was very entertaining.
05:24I have to say that was entertaining.
05:26How do you feel?
05:27I feel honoured.
05:28It's so great to be a part of this and have a bit of fun.
05:31I'm a little bit out of breath, but...
05:33That's OK.
05:34Well, we wish you the very, very best.
05:36Thank you so much.
05:37You're welcome.
05:37Thanks, Joel.
05:37Thanks, mate.
05:38Catch you soon.
05:41That was really, really fun.
05:42I've done two triathlons this year.
05:44For some reason, I was more tired doing 30 seconds of whisks than any of those.
05:48Just goes to show, though, I was really, really trying.
05:51Did it.
05:52Oh, now that you've caught your breath, how do you feel watching that back?
06:00I don't even know.
06:02Yeah, look, I was...
06:04I gave it my absolute all.
06:06I wasn't actually sure how to tackle it, you know, because I wasn't sure if it was, like, strict rules.
06:13I'm like, you know, are they looking for more technique or is it just about, like, footwork speed?
06:18So I kind of tried to do a little mix of both.
06:21And then, honestly, towards the end, it just turned into a real fruit salad of just absolute panic.
06:28OK.
06:28Yeah, we'll see.
06:29Well, it's time for the big reveal.
06:30After each of the professionals made their attempt, the footage was watched back by adjudicators in slow motion
06:36to verify every single step to make sure they were accurate.
06:41Julian, I can reveal that in 30 seconds, you completed.
06:5131 steps.
06:53However...
06:54Oh, no, disqualify.
06:56Did you have any disqualifications?
06:58I can reveal they were all disqualified.
07:12You're joking.
07:13According to the guidelines, the disqualifications are mainly because of the second heel flat
07:17not going down fully on the flat ball flat action.
07:22They just don't like Australians in the show.
07:25Clearly, look at that.
07:26Two Aussies at the bottom.
07:27They just don't like the Aussies.
07:29You know what?
07:30It's fine.
07:30Diane and I are going to do our own challenge.
07:32It's all good.
07:33I love it.
07:34This is all just for fun.
07:35Oh, yeah, so fun.
07:36It's all in good.
07:38Give us an exclusive, Jules.
07:40Who do you think is actually going to win for a challenge this year?
07:43Whoever obviously knows what a whisk technique is, because clearly I don't.
07:47Do you know what?
07:48Do you know what?
07:49I actually think Javita will have a really good chance, because she is a pocket rocket.
07:55So, yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
07:58Let's hear it for this year's fifth pro challenge contender, Julian.
08:01Next up, from one pro to another.
08:09Vito has been on Strictly since 2022, and let's be honest, he has had a couple of cracking years.
08:14This year, Ellie and Vito, pure magic.
08:172024, Sarah, such fun.
08:202023, Ellie, an actual chub.
08:22And 2022, who was it again?
08:25Clearly didn't make a great first impression.
08:28But let's see if Vito's best of the ballroom jogs my memory.
08:33Ciao.
08:34I'm super excited.
08:35I feel like a puppy.
08:40I did join Strictly three years ago.
08:43It was 2022, and I remember as if it was yesterday when I got the call.
08:48And when they said, like, would you like to join Strictly?
08:51I was like, is this a question?
08:53Because, I mean, Strictly is the best in the world.
09:01My first dance on Strictly, it would be always in my heart.
09:06It was a kind of Havana background.
09:08I had my Bordeaux trousers with my white vest, like very Italian.
09:13With my first line ever on Strictly come dancing, it was like,
09:17Vito in Italian means life.
09:19And this is what I'm going to bring to Strictly.
09:22Life.
09:25My dance partner on my first Strictly come dancing was Fleur.
09:30My favorite dance with Fleur was in Blackpool.
09:36The couple choice, it was just priceless.
09:38I remember.
09:41Na-na-na-na-na-na-na.
09:42Boom.
09:43Boom, boom.
09:46Up, down.
09:47Fleur was like in a back bend.
09:49The judges were standing up, I remember.
09:50And when we got to 40, that was the first time that Craig gave his stand in the entire series.
10:01Yay!
10:03Such a privilege.
10:07Another of my favorite dances was with Sarah Adler, the Cha-Cha-Cha.
10:12Just iconic.
10:17I remember when I said, you need to jump from the platform in my hand.
10:21She was like, oh no, I'm scared, no way, you know.
10:24And I said, fine, don't worry, you can trust me.
10:27I will never, ever let you down.
10:31And once I got her trust in that jump, for me was like, you know, we are actually now becoming as one.
10:38Vito, you really made her work hard in this.
10:43I thought that was absolutely a powerhouse performance.
10:51My very favorite and special dance with Ellie Goldstein was the waltz.
10:57Ellie was starting on the stairs of her own.
11:00And after we were met in the middle of the floor, there was something magical in the air.
11:08Waltz was a beautiful dance because it was showing a different side of Ellie.
11:13I said, you just have to be light and you want to float in the air.
11:17No, it's not much.
11:18But also we had to put some technique step, some standing spin.
11:23We had the box, we did do spin out, spin in.
11:28The feeling of watching Ellie, like, I was just so proud and I was trying to hold myself.
11:37And introduce you.
11:43Ellie Leach.
11:46Oh.
11:47My relationship with Ellie, it was just beautiful.
11:52If you go hard, you gotta get on.
11:54The show dance with Ellie has been the most full-on dance I have ever done.
11:58It was a kind of the entire Strictly compressed in one dance with a bit of rumba, with a bit
12:05of other dances, with a bit of Argentine tango.
12:08We just put everything.
12:10The end of our show dance describes the exact concept of resilience.
12:16There was a moment when Ellie was on my shoulder that she lost the balance and getting down,
12:24catch, and after flipping on the floor, and we stood up.
12:27I remember Ellie said to me, I'm sorry.
12:30I'm sorry.
12:31No problem.
12:32I said, like, there is nothing to be sorry.
12:34You just have to be proud of yourself.
12:36We didn't get 10 in the final for that dance, but for me, it was 100.
12:43Ellie and Rico!
12:44Winning was not just the trophy.
12:48It was just the end of a circle of an entire journey, and I'm just very, very grateful for this.
13:00Dancing in one of the biggest platforms every weekend is something that at the beginning
13:05is a bit scary, it's a bit overwhelming, but once you see how much you can inspire and
13:11help other people, then it's so rewarding, and it's telling me that I'm doing the right
13:17thing in the right moment of my life, and I'm in the exactly right place.
13:22Strictly come dancing.
13:29Vito is definitely in the right place, and so is our next guest, Joanne Clifton, who was
13:34always meant to be in Choreography Corner, and with the semi-final approaching, her role
13:38is more important than ever, because every technical tip counts, so you could say, she's
13:43in the hot seat.
13:44Sorry, I said hot seat, not mozzy seat.
13:50Okay, it's time for Choreography Corner.
13:52What a weekend!
14:11We'll talk about Instant Dance shortly, but before that, let's get straight into their
14:14first performances, starting with George and Alexis and the Quick Step.
14:18Now, George admitted to making a mistake, but Shirley applauded his footwork on the natural
14:22spin turn.
14:23How impressed were you?
14:24I was so impressed, because here he is, my ballroom boy, he's coming down the stairs,
14:28and they actually start with it.
14:29Here it is, slow, quick, quick, slow, slow, slow.
14:32And it's dangerous to start with that, because you think that, like, the celebrity's going,
14:35oh, it's a quick step, he even says it in the name, and he wants to go and do steps
14:38like this one.
14:39However, he danced it so well that we got the correct footwork, because there's a sneaky bit
14:43in there, you go heel, toe, toe, toe, heel, then there's a toe, heel, toe on the pivot
14:48bit, and then heel, toe, toe, heel, and he got it perfect.
14:53He was also great with the body flight.
14:55If you think about a basketball, right, and you want it to move over there, slam it down
15:00like that, so it projects over there.
15:01This is what you do on your step hops, you go down as much as you can that way, so that
15:05it projects your body that way into the scatter chassis, and that's like the rebound of the
15:09basketball, and he did that fantastically.
15:10Okay, on to Kaz and Carlos and the couple's choice, a full house for our lioness, and
15:15Carlos' first ever 40, the judges had nothing but praise, but what did you enjoy the most
15:21about this routine?
15:21Do you know what, what she did with this, in such a world, our world is so, like, a lot
15:28of the time it's dancing male and female, and the man is the one who leads, and he's the
15:32powerful one, and all of this, but in this I felt such, not even girl power, woman power,
15:37it was amazing.
15:38Now, I want to talk a little bit about the choreography, they have mentioned, the judges,
15:42that she needs to work on her slowing down of the arms and, like, being more elegant
15:46and slow.
15:46They did that right at the beginning on the podium, although the judges didn't mention
15:49it, but I wanted to mention it because she did it so well.
15:52Even the parts with the cane and things like that, there were details in there, like, when
15:56she threw the cane off, it wasn't just like, ooh, and get back to the dance, she actually
16:00did, like, a beautiful foot line there at the back when she threw it off.
16:04There was fast bits, there was slow bits, there was chilled bits when they were doing
16:08this.
16:08It was just all in all amazing.
16:10Mm-hmm.
16:11On to Balvinda and Julian and the jive.
16:13Now, Anton thought that Bal hesitated in the legs, which resulted in her getting off on
16:17the wrong foot.
16:18How important is it to not be hesitant with the jive?
16:21Well, first of all, I wanted to say that the judges have mentioned about refinement of
16:26the feet, and I think she really has worked on that.
16:28You can see her, those were the swivels and then the toe heel swivels here.
16:31Look how, like, precise and perfect they are.
16:34She was so good as well at the retraction of the leg.
16:36I think she enjoyed doing that.
16:38And also, like, going through the routine, when we got to the kicks and bit, it was like
16:41every time was like a new energy.
16:43Where I would say she didn't quite go over the leg would be the chassees.
16:46She was a little bit in the middle there, which could have been...
16:49Craig said stompy.
16:50I wouldn't have said stompy.
16:52But she has to get her body weight over that foot doing the chassees, and she was a bit
16:57in the middle.
16:58OK, on to Lewis and Katya and the Ramban.
17:01And Motsi, Shirley and Anton all loved the narrative and the storytelling.
17:05Craig, though, felt it lacked fluidity, resistance and hold through the 4-1.
17:09Can you explain what Craig means by that?
17:11Well, I can show you, because it happened once, and I saw the bit here.
17:15Ready?
17:15And we count 2, 3, 4, 1.
17:19Now, if you looked at that, his hip, his arm and the moving foot, right?
17:23The hip and the arm moved at the same time.
17:25And then the moving foot was a little bit quick.
17:29So, basically, what he did was 4-1, so the arm and hip went together, and this foot moved
17:35quite quickly.
17:35What he should have done at this stage, we should isolate a little bit more.
17:39You take the step, you take the ribcage across, ribs move, then into the arm, the hip's still
17:44there.
17:45Then we do the hip, that recovers the foot to underneath, and then moves forward.
17:49And that would have filled out the 4-1, but it was an amazing dance.
17:53I'm loving these mini-demo times.
17:54So good.
17:55On to Amber and Nikita and the jive.
17:57Now, Shirley had a lot of praise for Nikita's choreography, but just how complex was this
18:02choreography, and why was it worth the perfect score?
18:04I mean, I know the music started off slow, but again, dangerous to start slow like this
18:09in another very quick dance, because the audience want to see you go mad, don't they?
18:13But she loved doing the slow stuff.
18:15You could tell, because she, again, so precise, she even put little body rolls in there, and
18:19then bam, here she goes into the fast bit, which I thought was amazing.
18:23We had the toll gate in there, which was the thing with the arms like that.
18:26But I'm going to show you, in demo time, the syncopated chicken walks.
18:30Oh, demo time!
18:33Right, would you like to dance with me?
18:35Yes, I'd love to.
18:35But I'd like you to stand still.
18:36That's what I used to tell Scott Mills.
18:38Right, so basically, these are the chicken walks, where you go boom, boom, she did the
18:43syncopated one, she did three, she did one, two, three, and then she turned around, closed
18:48her feet that way, and was leaning, and then she turned back one, two, three.
18:51Now, what she did really well, well, both of them did, you've got to imagine a little
18:54hook there, pulling back, and hooks on your fingers as well, pulling back, so you've got
18:59that connection, and she can lean back as much as she wants.
19:01One, two, three, you flip over the wrist, boom, and then pull me back, boom, and we're
19:06straight away, again, feeling that.
19:09One, two, three, boom.
19:11Ooh, very nice.
19:14That was fun leading.
19:15Yeah.
19:16Right, it's time to talk about instant dance.
19:18What did you make of it, and how do you think you would have coped with it?
19:22I think I would have panicked, but it was so chaotic, it was amazing.
19:27They need that every year.
19:28They need that every year.
19:29Yes, it was so good.
19:30Well, I might regret this, but it's time to find out how we would both cope with instant
19:36dance, yes.
19:37I have three different dances on my cue cards here.
19:40Right.
19:41Just going to hold them up there.
19:43All styles that I performed back in 2022.
19:46Uh-oh.
19:46Jo, we're going to have ten seconds to work out the routine, and then 20 seconds to dance
19:53it, so half the time that they actually had on Saturday night.
19:55Oh, heck.
19:55OK.
19:56Jo, close your eyes.
19:57I'm going to shuffle these cards.
20:00Oh, gosh.
20:01OK, open your eyes and pick one card and hand it back to me.
20:04I'm going with that one.
20:06The samba!
20:07The samba!
20:08I can reveal we'll be doing a samba to this song from this series.
20:13If you want to do the samba, you want to do that.
20:17OK.
20:17OK.
20:18All right, our ten-second debrief starts now.
20:20All right, we're going to do samba, which we're going to go, one, two, three, four.
20:24We'll do samba walks like that, bam, ba-ba, bam, ba-ba, and then into bachicadas, and
20:30then we'll turn this way, and turn it off.
20:31OK.
20:32OK.
20:32Ready?
20:32One, two, three, two, one, two, three, two, one, two, three, two, three, two.
20:51Jimmy!
20:52Jimmy!
20:52What a thrill!
21:00That was so much fun.
21:01Oh, my goodness.
21:02Oh, my gosh.
21:03Electricity is running through me.
21:04The joy of dance.
21:06Thank you so much, Jo.
21:06No, thank you.
21:07See you next week.
21:08Let's hear it for Jo and Clifton.
21:13Next up, Belle and Jules did just enough to stay afloat after taking a big leap with their
21:17poolside performance.
21:19And you know what?
21:20I always knew they were going to make a splash.
21:21Why?
21:23Because they were jiving in at the deep end.
21:25Hey!
21:26Thanks.
21:27When it's all right, it's coming.
21:30It was super, really, apart from the mistakes.
21:33It was a good dance going well until it didn't.
21:37We've got to get a right face.
21:38That was an exciting number.
21:40You had one of the best jive actions.
21:42Your swivel was fantastic.
21:43And I love the way you sell everything.
21:48Timing, I thought, was actually quite good throughout.
21:51And I love the way you presented the dance.
21:54Give it up for Malvinda and Jules!
22:02Congratulations.
22:03You're a quarter finalist.
22:05As a Strictly Superfan, tell me, what does this mean to you?
22:08I mean, that's impossible.
22:10I was like, I wasn't expecting to make it past week four.
22:14And then we got to Blackpool, and now we're here as quarter finalists.
22:17It's quite mind-blowing, actually.
22:20But how wonderful, because you've sat there and you've watched people make it,
22:23and you're so happy for your favourite couples, and now we're one of them.
22:27Yes, it's amazing.
22:28It's quite a lovely, lovely feeling.
22:29And we know that it's your birthday on Thursday.
22:32What a gift to still be here.
22:33Do you know what I mean?
22:34The musicals week.
22:34It's absolutely brilliant.
22:35So to celebrate, we've only scone and got you a gift.
22:39Oh, that's lovely.
22:41Oh, that's so lovely.
22:44That's so gorgeous.
22:46You can enjoy being here.
22:48Yeah, this is all me.
22:52You've also made Strictly history for surviving the most dance-offs
22:56ever.
23:00I mean, that's mad.
23:01And Jules, on your first year of Strictly, you've made the quarter final,
23:04and your partnership has also gone down in the history books.
23:06How does that make you feel?
23:08Honestly, I mean, look, it's kind of something weird to say
23:12that you're proud or, you know, to win that many dance-offs,
23:15because no-one really wants to be in that situation.
23:17No.
23:18Especially not five times.
23:21But to, I think, you know, I always say you learn more
23:25from the tough times and the challenges than you do
23:27from the good times.
23:28And to win five dance-offs, I think I'm most proud,
23:33I'm so proud of how Bao has improved as a dancer,
23:35but I'm most proud of how strong and resilient she has become.
23:40You know, week two, I remember the, you know,
23:42the dance-off kind of rattled her a little bit,
23:44and we made a couple of mistakes in that Paso Doble,
23:47and we genuinely thought, oh, actually, this could be it.
23:51And then, but then, since then, you know,
23:54she just has this absolute, you know, we call it, like,
23:58back home, we call it an Aussie battler mindset,
23:59and she embodies that.
24:01She just, you know, grits her teeth and she goes,
24:03let's keep going, let's go again.
24:05And I'm so proud of her.
24:06Lots of viewers and Craig were distracted.
24:09Buy your tiny shorts, Jules.
24:12Bao, what did you think of his outfit?
24:13Oh, that is some shock.
24:15Do you know what?
24:15Every week, every week I say to Jules,
24:18he should wear less and less because we need the points.
24:21So I'm like, his body's going to get us the points.
24:23I'm like, rip that shirt.
24:24But do you know what?
24:25This picture sums us up.
24:27Yeah.
24:28Bao's face is like, whatever.
24:31How at home did you feel in that outfit, Jules?
24:34Yeah, I mean, I'm, like...
24:35You were very comfortable.
24:36Yeah, I was pretty comfy.
24:37I just felt like I was back at home on the beach with my bodies,
24:40and, yeah, it was just,
24:41it actually felt quite liberating, to be honest.
24:43Yeah, you looked really comfortable.
24:44What, those tight shorts?
24:45Yeah, no, it just felt nice as to kind of be free.
24:47Just be free, you know?
24:48Yeah.
24:49Throw caution to the wind.
24:50I like it.
24:50We need to talk about instant dance, okay?
24:53About when you joined Strictly,
24:54the costume's one of the things
24:55that you were most excited about.
24:56So how fun was it getting to pick your outfit?
24:59Yeah, brilliant.
25:01As an actor,
25:01that's one of the things that you really enjoy doing,
25:03you know, improvising and putting sort of various costumes on,
25:07using props and just going out there and playing.
25:09So I was actually in my element.
25:11I loved it.
25:12I was like, which one shall I take?
25:13And Claudia's just throwing everything at me.
25:14Yeah.
25:15And I thought, right, I'll take it all
25:16and just see how it fits together.
25:17So I had a dress with a skirt,
25:20you know, so quite a few layers on.
25:21It's actually a really nice dress.
25:22I thought it worked.
25:23Yeah, the dress was really nice.
25:23It did work.
25:24And do you know what?
25:25Thank goodness you had a skirt
25:26because Jules' instructions were clear.
25:28Do the skirt thing.
25:29Yeah.
25:29You did the skirt thing.
25:31Jules.
25:31How confident were you?
25:32I just, you know what?
25:35I've watched it 100 times.
25:36I mean, you look possessed.
25:37Yeah, yeah, yeah.
25:38It was amazing.
25:38But the point was,
25:39I knew that we'd messed up
25:41or I'd made mistakes in the jive
25:42and I was like,
25:43I can't have that be my legacy.
25:47Yes.
25:47Like, I need to come back with something.
25:50So there was fire in my belly.
25:51I didn't want to upset Jules.
25:52I took his instructions
25:53and I went,
25:54right, we are going to slay this.
25:56I don't care.
25:57And I just let loose.
25:58So, yeah.
25:59I love it.
25:59Can you do that in every dance?
26:00Yeah, can I?
26:01I should do that.
26:02I love your spirit so much.
26:03It's amazing.
26:04Well, it wasn't your final curtain call.
26:07You're through to musicals week.
26:08Woo!
26:09Yes, we made it.
26:10You'll be dancing a Viennese waltz to this.
26:13All the stars are still
26:15from the night sky
26:16Well, now we'll be in love.
26:17With a Viennese waltz
26:19to never enough.
26:20How are you going to make sure
26:21you put on the greatest show?
26:24I just have to embody
26:27what that song means.
26:29Like, it's a beauty...
26:30Like, everybody loves the film.
26:32It's, you know,
26:32it's about sort of following your dreams
26:34and kind of just being present
26:37and being yourself.
26:38And my nieces really love the show.
26:41They've, you know,
26:42they've watched the film a few times.
26:43It's one of their favourites
26:44and I think I just have to do it for them.
26:47It's a gorgeous song.
26:48The Viennese waltz is a beautiful dance to dance.
26:51And I just...
26:52I just have to jump in with both feet
26:53and listen to Jules
26:54follow his lead,
26:56which I'm still struggling with.
26:59Yeah, no, I...
27:00Yeah, it's going to be really beautiful
27:02because it's a slower dance as well.
27:04So we can really take our time with it
27:06in parts
27:07and just fall back
27:10into the world of ballroom.
27:11Yeah.
27:12This is very exciting
27:13because if you make it through,
27:14you'll be a semi-finalist
27:16and this is your year of the yes.
27:18What would it mean to you
27:19to make it to the next stage?
27:21Again, like,
27:22absolute dream come true.
27:24I didn't think that this would be
27:26the journey that we've been on
27:27and, you know,
27:27we've had it quite tough.
27:30And I think the payoff
27:31would be, you know,
27:33it would just be amazing.
27:35But equally,
27:37you know,
27:38we've got so far in the competition
27:40and I am grateful now
27:41for every single day
27:43that I get to dance
27:44and be with Jules
27:45and just enjoy this journey.
27:49You know, at this stage,
27:50like, you know,
27:51my granddad used to always say
27:52reach for the stars
27:53and if you miss,
27:53you'll land on the moon.
27:55So I think, you know,
27:57at this point,
27:59let's just...
27:59I mean, it is so close
28:02and that's the thing.
28:02Like, it's so close
28:03you could touch it.
28:04So, yeah,
28:06let's reach for this.
