00:00Please welcome your host, Fleur East.
00:25Hello and welcome to It Takes Two Live on BBC Two and iPlayer!
00:30It's Friday, everyone, and our celebs are gearing up for a huge weekend because the beat of this week's show is being completely flipped, turned around and upside down, as not only do they have to perform a new routine, they also have to face the ultimate challenge, Instant Dance!
00:47And in just 24 hours and 4 minutes, chaos will be unleashed on the Strictly Dance floor.
00:54But before all that, let's take a look at what we've got coming up for you tonight.
00:58After performing a couple's choice that proved life really is worth celebrating, Alex and Johannes will be here reliving that magical routine and telling us why they are cha-cha channeling a turkey in training this week.
01:11Did you say, Charles, 10, 10, 10, 10?
01:15Lewis and Katia are here to spill all the goss on how they looked so good on that dance floor, leaping through all obstacles and landing at the top of the leaderboard.
01:23But can they keep up the momentum with their rumba?
01:25And, speaking of rumbas, we'll be sharing a behind-the-scenes preview of this week's group dance choreographed by the fabulous O.T. Mabuse.
01:35Plus, here to chat through their thoughts on our remaining couples, it's our Friday panel!
01:39And remember, we love hearing from you.
01:45So, if you're wondering if Lewis and Katia or Alex and Jojo went curry sauce or gravy with their Blackpool chippy,
01:50then send us your questions via WhatsApp on 0800 022 3801 or just scan the QR code on your screen.
01:58But first up, I bet you were all wondering what was going through Alex's mind as she performed her classy couples choice.
02:03Well, luckily, we seem to have a recording of her thoughts.
02:07I'm going to walk down the stairs, I'm going to be amazing.
02:09No, not again. Sorry, Anton.
02:11OK, apologies.
02:12We'll hear from Alex shortly after a reminder of her powerful performance.
02:18I thought you were slick.
02:20I thought it was sultry.
02:21I thought it was sensational.
02:25You had little highlights.
02:27They could have had a little bit more definition.
02:29But you know what?
02:30I felt like you really held your own completely in this dance.
02:38This is so stylish and sophisticated.
02:40So you and I love this number.
02:46Two rounds for Alex and Johannes!
02:50Now, Alex, your aim with that couple's choice was to celebrate life.
02:54Yes.
02:54How important did it feel to deliver that message on such an iconic dance floor?
02:58I just wanted to share something that I had been through the year before.
03:06And I'm quite a private person, really.
03:09So, but I wanted to sort of be honest with the public.
03:14And for them to understand my reasons for going on this Strictly journey.
03:21And that also to show that it's possible.
03:24It's possible.
03:26Yes.
03:26And Alex wanted to encourage people to just celebrate and live life.
03:29Yes.
03:30How has she done this for you already?
03:32Well, have you seen me?
03:35I've seen you.
03:36Listen.
03:36I'm the happiest man on planet Earth.
03:40And that is down to this woman.
03:42We've had such a lovely time so far.
03:45It would gut me for it to end anytime soon.
03:48My intention is to take Alex all the way in this competition.
03:53Yes!
03:54I love that.
03:56We have to talk about that final pose, Alex.
03:58Because you held it for what looked like 10 joyously defiant seconds.
04:04Look at you.
04:06The thing is, I actually held it because Jojo said,
04:11don't come out of it too soon.
04:13So I was waiting for him to go,
04:15it's okay, you can come down now.
04:18And I'll say, you're like, okay, Jojo, is it good now?
04:20We're good?
04:21And your husband, Jonathan, was applauding you as well
04:25with his special cummerbund in the audience.
04:28And his bow tie.
04:30What was it like having him supporting you?
04:32Oh, my gosh.
04:33It meant everything for him to get all the way up there to Blackpool
04:36and to just be there by my side.
04:39He's been phenomenal throughout this journey.
04:42You know, he...
04:43You wouldn't have done it without him.
04:43I couldn't have done it without him.
04:45He cooks for me.
04:47You know, he runs a hot bath so it's there when I get home.
04:51Fills the fridge with all sorts of nutritionist food.
04:54And, yeah, he's been my rock.
04:57And another loyal fan of yours, of course, is your dog, Wolfie.
05:00Yeah!
05:01Shout out to Wolfie.
05:02We know he's been dressing up for the occasion every week.
05:06Yes.
05:06Look at him smashing it in his Latin era.
05:08Yes, his Latin sequins, exactly.
05:11So we thought it was only fair to get him an outfit
05:13that complemented your couple's choice routine.
05:17So here you go.
05:17Oh, stop it.
05:18Oh, no!
05:21That's for Wolfie.
05:22Oh, my word.
05:24I'm sure he's going to look perfect or poor-fect.
05:26Oh, my gosh.
05:28There you go.
05:28How do you think he's going to look in that?
05:30I think he's going to look gorgeous.
05:32I mean, he looks gorgeous in everything he wears.
05:35He's a centrefold.
05:36He really is.
05:38Wow.
05:38We have a question here from Chloe that's come through.
05:42What is the favourite fact you've learnt about each other?
05:45That's nice.
05:46Oh, wow.
05:47Interesting question.
05:48The favourite fact that I've learnt about you is that...
05:53I think I've just learnt it, actually.
05:57That when he was drunk, Johannes got a tattoo.
06:03What?
06:04I did.
06:05What's the tattoo?
06:06Oh, it's a biblical verse.
06:08We're not even going to go into it.
06:10I was drunk, Fleur.
06:11I regret it.
06:13But it's good.
06:16And what have you learnt about Alex?
06:18Any other tattoos we should know about?
06:19No.
06:22You can't even go there.
06:24No, I can't go there.
06:25I can't.
06:26I cannot.
06:27That's between the two of us.
06:28OK.
06:28But one thing that I've taken from Alex is she's restored my love for dancing.
06:34And I'm not just saying that.
06:36I really mean it.
06:37I love what I do.
06:40But ever since I've been doing it with you, I'm over the moon.
06:43Oh, that is beautiful.
06:45We do laugh a lot.
06:46Absolutely.
06:46That's amazing.
06:48You're having a lovely time.
06:50Well, the buzz of Blackpool is now behind us.
06:52And in one sleep, you're performing a cha-cha-cha to this.
06:55Anita Ward, ring my bell.
07:00I'm watching.
07:02Janice, in week four, Alex earned her Queen of Rumba title.
07:05So what can she do to get the cha-cha-cha crown this weekend?
07:08Just be herself.
07:10When I tell you she's really come a long way, look at that.
07:15Yes.
07:16Alex is responding to my lead, which is something that I've been fighting with her for the past couple of weeks.
07:21I've been saying, Alex, let me lead, let me lead.
07:25But we have gotten to a place where I can just lead her in a direction and she goes.
07:30So I just want Alex at this point of the competition to just have the utmost fun.
07:34So that's the plan this week.
07:35We're just going to have fun.
07:37I'm going to be relying on him leading when we do the instant dance.
07:42Oh, gosh.
07:43Yeah, we need to ask you about that.
07:44But how have you found the training so far for this style?
07:47Yeah, I feel like cha-cha-cha should be in my wheelhouse.
07:52I just feel like with the rumba, with the samba, it's sort of, it's a very sort of similar kind of like,
08:00it's the same community in terms of hip action.
08:04So it should be fine for me.
08:07Well, you admitted in your Wednesday training update that the technique makes you feel like a turkey.
08:12Like a Christmas turkey.
08:14Yeah, looking like a turkey.
08:14So we'd like to see your best impression of a turkey.
08:17Alex, I feel like this is the time.
08:19Well, the thing is, the thing is.
08:21It's happening.
08:22It's about, because Jojo keeps saying, you know, the bum has to be back and the chest is forward.
08:29So it's that.
08:30I don't have heels on, so it's not easy.
08:32But so, so when I'm strutting then, I sort of feel like I'm a Christmas turkey.
08:39Yes.
08:39I can see it.
08:41Yeah, I can.
08:45Wow.
08:48I loved the build-up as well, like how you slowly rose from your seat as well.
08:52A little birdie told me, Johannes, that you agree with this comparison.
08:55Why?
08:56I absolutely do, because it puts her in the right position.
08:59So whatever works, Flo, whatever works.
09:01Oh my goodness.
09:03Well, we've been talking to everyone about instant dance.
09:05And when you were first talking about it on the Result Show, you used the word terrified.
09:09Yes.
09:09What word would you use now?
09:11Resigned.
09:14You're just like, listen, let's just go for it.
09:17It is what it is.
09:19What will be will be.
09:21Well, have you spoken about which style of dance you're hoping to get and which one you'd be dreading?
09:26I think Alex is dreading all of them.
09:28What?
09:29I think I am.
09:30But I was just like, I wish it's something that we absolutely loved doing during the season.
09:35So I'm hoping, I'm hoping that it's something that we actually excelled in, one of the dances that we excelled in.
09:42But you never know.
09:43You never know.
09:43You never know.
09:44Fingers crossed.
09:45Good luck tomorrow.
09:46It's Alex and Johannes.
09:51Next up, these two lined up their shots on Saturday, aiming to pot a 10 with style.
09:56And after Lewis and Katia chalked up a Charleston that earned a clean sweep of 40,
10:00they'll be hoping the next dance doesn't leave them snookered.
10:03Here's a reminder.
10:08The footwork, the arms synchronisation, it was absolutely extraordinary.
10:14The energy was insane.
10:19Everything was in place.
10:21The hair, the fingers.
10:22You are breathtakingly good.
10:32Give up for Lewis and Katia.
10:40Guys, not only did you open the Blackpool Spectacular, but you scored another 40.
10:44It's a long run.
10:53It's a double celebration.
10:55It's a double celebration.
10:56It's a double celebration.
10:56It's good on the dance.
10:57I mean, this is your second 40 of the series.
11:00How happy are you that you've achieved this at this point in the competition?
11:03I don't even know how it's happened, to be honest.
11:06Yeah, I don't know.
11:08They might have got their panels confused or something.
11:10Yeah, someone might have been throwing them around in the box.
11:13But, no, I mean, amazing.
11:15Like, everyone is working so hard and it is so nice to kind of get that reward and to get that.
11:22And it is, you do kind of think that your experience of the dance is usually of how you get scored.
11:28So it is lovely to get scored nice.
11:30But I was saying Blackpool, it was, we were first on, as you said, and just before Tessa announced that nobody's going home.
11:38So, of course, that weight and relief, like, weight was off our shoulders.
11:42So we just danced for joy.
11:44It was like a huge celebration.
11:46That night was more of a celebration, you know, of how far they've come.
11:50So, just to get 40 then, I was like, what?
11:53Well, Katia.
11:53But, in my opinion, he just gave them no option, you know?
11:58Yeah, threw it all out there.
11:59Fiction, that you just, I was dancing this to go, thinking, what is happening?
12:06This is outstanding, yeah, it's so fun.
12:09Well, you were excited to do something a little less stripped back this week and you definitely did that.
12:14What was it like tackling all of that packed-in choreography with Jenny Thomas?
12:18Yeah, we love working with Jenny.
12:20Well, I love working with Jenny.
12:21We've been working together for 10 years.
12:23We really get each other.
12:24So, when I come in, like, we're going to jump through the hoop that's created with my leg.
12:29She's like, okay, what else?
12:32And then we're going to go on a ride.
12:34She's like, what do you mean a ride?
12:35Well, we called that move.
12:37The swing, the Blackpool swing.
12:38Oh, yeah, we're going to get on to that in a bit.
12:40And she just does it, brilliant.
12:42And then, you know, she's so good with the authentic dancing.
12:45She was so excited to do an actual proper swing.
12:48You know, we did the swing out at the start.
12:51So, that's proper, like, Lindsay style.
12:52Because, you know, he was able to pull it off.
12:55So, huge, huge shout-out to Jenny and Sean.
13:00Well, shout-out to you as well.
13:01You definitely used the dancers to your advantage.
13:03Let's take a look.
13:06Come on!
13:07This is the move.
13:08This is the Blackpool swing.
13:09I mean, how challenging was that for you to execute?
13:14Or was it just a bit of a break?
13:15It looked like you were just chilling.
13:16To be honest, that wasn't really that hard for us to.
13:19I don't know.
13:19My core was on fire.
13:21Really?
13:21Yeah?
13:22I was like, talk, talk, talk, talk.
13:24Ab and Jake, for me, were doing,
13:26I thought they were doing all the work.
13:28They were, like, really lifting me up.
13:29That was incredible.
13:29I was just enjoying the ride.
13:31I was just happy to be there.
13:33Yeah, to just breathe for a second.
13:34Yeah, I'm going to breathe, definitely.
13:35Well, time to bring the tempo down.
13:37You're going to be breathing a lot this week.
13:38You're doing a rumba to this.
13:42Harry Styles falling.
13:45Now, Lewis, we've seen you bring the fiery passion.
13:48We've seen your playful, cheeky side.
13:50So what are you going to be channeling for this?
13:53Hopefully not falling.
13:55No, hopefully not going to be falling, yeah.
13:57To be honest, it's quite,
13:58it's very different than anything we've done before.
14:01It's very, I'd say it's quite exposing.
14:04Yeah.
14:04Because, you know, because when you bring the tempo down
14:07and, you know, you kind of tell that story
14:09and it's almost in slow motion,
14:11it's like you're very exposed.
14:13And I think it's very, very emotional, actually, isn't it?
14:15Yeah, it's quite emotive, isn't it?
14:18Like, you have to be able to get the basics so strong
14:23that you're able to tell the story then on top of it, you know,
14:26because one without the other is weak, you know,
14:29story without the dance move, but dance moves without the story.
14:32So having to marry those two together,
14:34I think has been the biggest sort of challenge, hasn't it?
14:37Yeah, it's tough.
14:38It is tough.
14:39Well, you mentioned the balance in your Wednesday training update.
14:42How's Lewis getting on with that now?
14:44With the balance?
14:45Actually, really good.
14:47The balance.
14:48Look at the technique.
14:49Oh, no, it's...
14:50Do you know, I said, too, after today,
14:53I looked at him and I went,
14:55I just realised how hard it is.
14:57I've been dancing rumba for 30 years.
15:00Wow.
15:01And not once have I been told that I'm doing it correctly.
15:06Let alone...
15:07There's no hope for it.
15:09..learning it in four days.
15:11Amazing.
15:12I'm in my heart, too, because honestly, what you're producing is incredible.
15:15But honestly, you've got another challenge this week,
15:17which you mentioned earlier, the Instant Dance Challenge.
15:20And Lewis, you were quite concerned about Katia's costume choices.
15:24Any other concerns or are you a little more relaxed about it now?
15:28Do you know what?
15:29It's just going to be fun.
15:30Yeah.
15:30It's going to be like a laugh.
15:32We're just going to try and do a bit of dancing as well, I think.
15:35I think we have to do that.
15:36But I think, you know, it's something to kind of look forward to.
15:40I think it's more excitement than nerves now.
15:42Yeah, and how confident are you, Katia and Lewis?
15:44Because this is a real test for him as well,
15:45and his knowledge and all your past styles that you're talking about.
15:48I think it's actually quite wonderful at this stage.
15:51They have come such a long way.
15:53And they...
15:54Even Johannes was saying how Alex has reacted to his lead now.
15:57Yes.
15:57And I am looking at you as my dance partner now.
16:00So this will be a beautiful testament to what they've learned.
16:04Do you mean it's going to be a huge test?
16:06Yeah.
16:06But you just have to surrender to it.
16:09I think that's the way.
16:10The first time has never been done before.
16:12Let's just go all in.
16:13Well, we've got something to help you stay on the ball for tomorrow
16:16and see how well you remember your past dances.
16:19We're going to play a game called Beat the Beat.
16:24Beat the Beat.
16:25Okay.
16:26I'm going to play you both a song that you've performed to this series.
16:29If you know the song, honk your horn.
16:31Where are they?
16:31You've got some horns there behind your cushions.
16:33Can I test it?
16:33And if you're right, you get one point.
16:35Test it.
16:36Oh, nice.
16:37Can we swap?
16:38If I do it in your ear, you won't be able to hear anything.
16:41If you can name the dance style, you get a bonus point.
16:43Right.
16:44And the twist will only be playing one second of the song.
16:47One.
16:48I've got it.
16:48Are you ready?
16:49Yes.
16:50Okay.
16:50Right, then let's begin your 45 seconds.
16:52Start now.
16:53What song is this?
16:55Human.
16:56No, she didn't say that.
16:57That's incorrect, Katya.
16:59Yes.
16:59Viennismos, week two.
17:02The song?
17:02Hey, Alice Control by Teddi.
17:04Yes, correct.
17:05How about this?
17:06How about this?
17:09You didn't even hear that.
17:12I think that's mine is four points.
17:14Paso doble, Zorro.
17:16No, it's fine.
17:17I'm so sorry.
17:18Lewis?
17:19Play again.
17:20I didn't even hear it.
17:22I don't even know.
17:25It was get ready.
17:26It was your drive.
17:27Get ready.
17:27Okay, can you guess this one?
17:30Go.
17:31Katya.
17:31It was Katya.
17:32Katya.
17:35Charts and charts are.
17:36I like it like that.
17:38You're correct.
17:40I like it like that.
17:41And the winner was Katya.
17:43Yay!
17:45Congratulations.
17:45You've officially won our Beat the Beat glamorous trophy.
17:48Who needs the real glitter ball where you go with?
17:50It's bad boy.
17:51Everything's...
17:52Just to clarify, you might be dancing the same styles, but the music will be totally different.
17:56So good luck with that.
17:57It's Lewis and Katya!
18:03It's so cute.
18:04Coming up, I'll be chatting with our Friday panel.
18:06But first, let's go behind the scenes for a look at a romantic tale set in New York City.
18:10Brought to life by Oti Mabuse's moving and expressive rumba choreography.
18:14This week's group dance is a dramatic rumba showcasing storytelling through movement.
18:25Michelle and I are portraying a couple that is going to the good times, to the bad times, and everything in between.
18:31Five, six, seven, eight, stop.
18:34I'm back, and it feels amazing.
18:36Really special to choreograph with my husband this year.
18:40This nomba, I really wanted it to feel emotional.
18:45And Aliash and Michelle are fantastic.
18:49The chemistry between them, because they are not usually dancing together,
18:52they really look like a couple that have something special to give, especially in a number like that.
18:58I'm really excited to get into the acting role and really tell a story.
19:03Even though we do want to show a traditional rumba, we do want to add a little bit of atmosphere with it.
19:11So by adding lifts to it, it brings that contemporary, lyrical feel.
19:17Tune in on the weekend to see how this love story unfolds.
19:21Tune in on the weekend to see how this love story unfolds.
19:21What about us?
19:23What about us?
19:27Next up, we're getting into the nitty gritty, and we've called in some Strictly Mega fans,
19:31ready to share exactly what's on their minds.
19:33It's our Friday panel!
19:36He's a writer, a television presenter, and a man who's interviewed just about everyone.
19:41Now it's our turn to shine a spotlight on him.
19:43We're Maidley in love with him.
19:45It's Richard Maidley!
19:46She's a businesswoman, entrepreneur, and a crafting icon who's been absolutely glued to this year's Strictly.
19:54It's Sarah Davies!
19:56And finally, she's a gold medal winning Paralympic wheelchair racer and TV presenter
20:01who knows all about pace, precision, and nailing the finish.
20:05It's Sammy King on!
20:08Now Richard, you've seen live TV at its most unpredictable.
20:12How do you think this instant dance challenge is going to go down?
20:14I think it's a really clever production idea.
20:17I think it's a little injection of something new that I think the show's going to benefit from.
20:21And I think it's full of jeopardy.
20:23Because if they pull out a dance which they maybe did last week or the week before,
20:28it'll be fresh in their memory.
20:29But it could be the one that they were terrible at.
20:31Or they could pull out one that they did maybe five weeks ago, but they were really good at that.
20:35So it's full of jeopardy.
20:37I love it.
20:37Yeah, I love the jeopardy.
20:38Sarah, you took to the floor with Ali Ash in 2021.
20:42What are you making of this year's Strictly Class?
20:44Oh, I am absolutely...
20:46I don't know about anybody else.
20:47I am transfixed.
20:48And we've got a bit of a routine in our house.
20:50So we watch the show on a Saturday night, but then we all get together and watch it again on a Sunday afternoon.
20:55Oh, wow.
20:56I love it.
20:56Because, honestly, my dad comes round and we all watch it again.
20:59So, yeah, we're...
21:00You're a mega fan.
21:00A mega...
21:01You really are.
21:02Yeah.
21:03And, Sammy, if our couples make it through, they'll be through to the quarterfinals.
21:06I know.
21:07How much do you think that pressure is going to impact our couples?
21:10Well, so then it's musical week, isn't it?
21:12Yes.
21:12Which brings pressure itself.
21:14But they must feel really proud of themselves now.
21:16To get to this stage, they must feel that.
21:18But they must be starting to think, maybe I can go the whole way.
21:21And that's a little bit added pressure, isn't it?
21:24They can taste the final, how it's all to play for.
21:26Well, they've all been rehearsing today in the ballroom.
21:29So let's take a look at them.
21:30Let's start with Amber and Nikita.
21:31They're doing a jive.
21:32Now, Sarah, from a quick step to a jive, this is going to be jam-packed.
21:37What excites you the most about this dance?
21:39Well, do you know, I'm watching and...
21:41No, I didn't do a jive, so I'm not the expert.
21:43However, what I did learn with all these Latin dancers, it's where you have your weight.
21:48And she looks from that like she's got her body weight in the right position.
21:51I mean, I watched Ashley in the resort show last week.
21:54Oh, my God.
21:55And she...
21:55I was like, she was the epitome of dancing that jive perfectly.
21:58Looking at that, I think she's got the weight in the right place,
22:01which is going to be 90% of the battle.
22:02Because let's face it, she's got the performance, hasn't she?
22:05Yes, yes.
22:05She's got the performance.
22:06It's all about the technique, isn't it?
22:07Now, Richard, this is an iconic song.
22:10Tina Turner, Proud.
22:11Mary.
22:11Yeah, yeah.
22:12I mean, what does she need to do to make sure that the routine is just as iconic?
22:15Well, I think the thing about Amber is where she struggles a bit sometimes,
22:20it's to transmit a sense of warmth in some of her routines.
22:24But with the jive, you don't need to do that.
22:26The jive is just kind of like ice cold, really sharp.
22:30And I agree with you.
22:30I think it suits her naturally, physically and mentally and her kind of her personality.
22:36I think it's absolutely her dance.
22:38I predict she'll get a 10.
22:39Oh, predictions.
22:41How many 10s?
22:43Well, two.
22:45I predict two.
22:46Two 10s.
22:46He's going.
22:47He's going in.
22:47I like it.
22:48On to George and Alexis.
22:49They're doing a quick step now, Sammy.
22:51They secured their first 10s last weekend.
22:53How much of a confidence boost is that going to give them going into this week?
22:56I think it'll give them a huge boost.
22:58I think for him, his character is coming out more and more week by week.
23:01You know, you really see them hips coming out.
23:03And it was so exciting to watch them.
23:04I found them so fun to watch.
23:06I feel like Blackpool, I was just, like, dancing along this over the whole time with them.
23:10So, yeah, I'm hoping he's just going to bring more of that personality and really show himself.
23:15And, Sarah, the judges have commended their partnership.
23:17What are you making of Team Walkie?
23:19Do you know how I love these two?
23:21And I think because Alexis was new, it must be really difficult because the public haven't had a chance to fall in love with her before week one.
23:28Well, you just can't help it.
23:30She's lovely, isn't she?
23:31She emits that warmth and them two together just look like they bring out the best in each other.
23:37I've loved watching them.
23:38Lovely.
23:39OK, let's move on to Balvinda and Julian.
23:41They're doing a jive.
23:41Another jive.
23:42Richard, no one has managed to score above a 31 since Kaz for a jive this whole series.
23:48Right.
23:48Do you think that Bal and Jules have got what it takes to change that?
23:51I think Balvinda has been consistently underrated and underscored.
23:56She's had good scores, but I think she's been underscored by the judges and she's clearly been underrated by the viewers because she keeps ending up in the dance-offs.
24:03And I can't understand that because I think she's one of the best.
24:06I think she's really good.
24:07Having said that, I'm not sure the jive is a natural dance for her.
24:11I think she is full of warmth and grace and charm.
24:15She's beautiful when she moves around the floor.
24:16I'm not sure the jive is her thing.
24:19So I think she might struggle a bit.
24:20I don't think she'll get a ten.
24:21Well, she did impress in week two with her Charleston.
24:24So, Sammy, what do you think?
24:25Do you think the jive is her dance?
24:27Yeah, I hope so.
24:28Because, again, I feel like it breaks my heart when I see her in the bottom two.
24:32Yeah, me too.
24:32But also, watching her in the bottom two, how does she bring in that performance?
24:36Because I feel like I would feel the pressure being in the bottom two.
24:38Was it four weeks in a row?
24:40Yeah, you dig deep.
24:41How is she doing that?
24:42You know.
24:43Incredible.
24:43I know it all too well, friends.
24:45Let's not go there.
24:47On to Alex and Johannes and the cha-cha-cha.
24:49Now, Sarah, you did a cha-cha-cha, your first dance, actually, back in 2021.
24:54I did.
24:54What advice have you got?
24:56Don't do it like I did it.
24:57I was bottom of the leaderboard and Bucky's favourite to be the first out.
25:02But I will say...
25:03You got through eight weeks.
25:04I did.
25:06Hey, I made strictly history.
25:07I'm the only person to ever go from the very bottom to the very top and double my scores
25:11from week one to week two.
25:13Yes!
25:13Wow, that is amazing.
25:14She doesn't want any advice from me.
25:18Well, Richard, how do you think they're looking?
25:20How do you think they're going to do?
25:21I find Alex very hard to predict.
25:24She's not the most consistent, is she, of performers.
25:27Generally speaking, the line on the graph is going up.
25:30But you're never quite sure how she's going to deliver on the night.
25:33I think that, again, that could be a good dance for her.
25:35I think she'll do pretty well.
25:38Yeah, she's got the hips and she's got the technique.
25:40Okay, on to Karen and Carlos.
25:42They're doing a couple's choice.
25:43Now, Sammy, Kaz said that she just wanted to let loose and be free with this one.
25:47So what are you most looking forward to with this one?
25:49I'm so excited to see her in a couple's choice.
25:51Because I think she's so...
25:52She's quite an intense dancer.
25:53Yes.
25:54And I think I'm really excited to see her be free, like she said.
25:57I think it's going to be a little bit of street, which I think...
25:59And hip-hop, which I think will be really, really fun to watch.
26:02Or, you know, just kind of, yeah, get a bit loose and see what's going to happen.
26:05Yes, and Sara, they were just one point off of a perfect score for their Paso.
26:09I know.
26:10I mean, what does she need to do to get Craig to pull out that 10 paddle?
26:13I'm not speaking to Craig.
26:15Honestly, I was so cross with him last week.
26:18I can't even tell you.
26:19And I was in the room at Blackpool when they did that.
26:22And the atmosphere, you could feel a pin drop.
26:25I was crying.
26:27Honestly, I was so moved.
26:29Not because Craig didn't give her 10.
26:31It was the end.
26:33It was so powerful.
26:34And I was really overcome with emotion.
26:36She's such a wonderful dancer.
26:38Yes, she is.
26:39She's a beautiful dancer to watch.
26:40On to Lewis and Katia.
26:41We just spoke to them.
26:42They're doing a rambun.
26:43Now, Richard, coming off the back of their second perfect score,
26:46what do they need to do to prevent falling down the leaderboard?
26:49I think of all the couples we're talking about here tonight,
26:52they are the ones least in need of any advice or comment from us.
26:56I think they are probably the most perfectly matched couple that Strictly has ever seen.
27:02Wow.
27:02I think that physically and emotionally and psychologically,
27:05and in any way you want to say it, they are the perfect couple.
27:09Yeah.
27:09And for me, I think they should always score 10s.
27:13I mean, it seems to me the judges are quite often struggling to look for things to nitpick about what they've done.
27:18I think they are as near perfect a partnership as you're ever going to find.
27:21And, Sammy, what kind of scores are you expecting?
27:23Because their average score is 34.7.
27:26It's amazing, isn't it?
27:26Oh, gosh, they're probably going to get 40 again.
27:28It's probably going to do it again.
27:29I just think they are.
27:30They're just beautiful.
27:31Honestly, like, I hope they take this as a compliment.
27:33But I could watch them before bed because I find them so calming.
27:38Like, you can just trust that he's not going to get a step wrong.
27:40Yeah, that he's not going to get a step wrong.
27:42Like, they know what they're doing.
27:43They're so in sync.
27:44It's so beautiful.
27:45So, yeah.
27:46Well, guys, it's time for the moment that I think about every waking second.
27:49Who do you think will be leaving the competition this weekend, Richard?
27:54Because not because I want them to,
27:56but because I don't think it's her dance
27:58and tomorrow the competition's going to be intense.
28:00Sarah?
28:02Oh, my gosh.
28:03Sammy?
28:04Oh, no.
28:06Oh, my gosh, it's a full house.
28:07You know what?
28:07Lots of people are saying about, but she's still there.
28:10She could do it again, guys.
28:12Wow.
28:12The comeback queen.
28:13Comeback queen.
28:14She is the comeback queen.
28:16They've spoken.
28:17Give it up for my Friday panel, everyone.
28:22So savage.
28:23The comeback queen.
28:24I think she can do it.
28:25That's all for tonight.
28:27Thanks to all of my guests.
28:28Thanks to my amazing Friday panel.
28:30I'll be back on Monday with the next couple to be eliminated.
28:34Plus, I'll be joined by two more Strictly Professionals
28:37ready to take on the pro challenge.
28:39And don't forget to tune in to Tess and Claudia
28:40on BBC One tomorrow at 6.35.
28:43For now, have a lovely weekend, everybody.
28:45Thanks.
