11-2! That’s 10 in a row for the #Patriots ! We are #live at Gillette Stadium. Marcus Jones is electric. Thoughts on O-Line play? Is Drake Maye the MVP frontrunner
00:0010th win in a row for this team, who are 11-2 heading into the bye week, and the vibes are strong around here.
00:11Guys, good morning and hello.
00:13Good morning.
00:14Good morning, Curtis.
00:14Hi, Greg. How are you?
00:16Wiggy, coach.
00:16Hello.
00:17I mean, I...
00:18Welcome back.
00:19Hey, thank you.
00:19It's unbelievable when you look at this football team.
00:23They just get it done over and over and over again.
00:25It is absolutely amazing to see what this team is able to do.
00:29And granted, the game, you know, you look at the game, and maybe the Giants, they cut it to a two-score game.
00:34You're like, all right.
00:35But at no point in time did I feel like, you know, I thought they probably could have easily blown them out.
00:41I mean, they beat them pretty good, but they could have blown them out by 28.
00:44I thought Joe Buck did a great job of highlighting how brutal the traffic was on Route 1, so America knows our headache.
00:50I felt even worse for the guy that was probably heading in from, like, Swampscot, and he got parked, and he gets in the stadium, and he's like,
00:57you could have just gone home then.
00:58I mean, it was 10-0, and the other thing that I just, I have been forced to be more appreciative of just simply playing good football after the last couple years
01:09and watching the NFL on Sundays when the Patriots aren't playing, they are today the best record in football,
01:17and they are the best team in football today.
01:20It doesn't mean they have the most talent.
01:21It doesn't mean that they have, you know, a definite spot in the Super Bowl,
01:24but they are today head and shoulders above the rest of the NFL.
01:27I also think, even though it's against the Giants, I get it, I get it, I know the Giants record,
01:32but overall, it felt like a statement game of physicality for the Patriots.
01:36Like, the way they came out, the way the defense played so well out of the gate,
01:41and I texted Shine last night, like, Drake didn't even look like he was breaking a sweat,
01:45and I don't mean that in a negative way.
01:47I mean that as, like, he looked so calm, cool, collected, and was just taking charge.
01:52Yeah.
01:52We talked about this yesterday.
01:54You can say, you can look at the Giants and say they're a bad football team.
01:59You can do it with anybody in the league.
02:02Right.
02:02But you can also look at their two wins are against the Eagles and the Chargers.
02:07So, I like, I just, I'm so tired of the schedule argument when it comes to the Patriots,
02:14and it'll be settled when we get to the playoffs, and that's fine with me.
02:20But it's, I mean, Drake May last night, Shine, the touchdown pass to Williams was just gorgeous.
02:32There was the beauty to booty, as I would call it, and the guy is just over and over again.
02:42He looks just so good on him.
02:44He is just cool, calm, and collected.
02:47And you didn't even think about Will Campbell.
02:48I thought that was going to be your title soon.
02:51Not really, no.
02:52Those two guys did low, and Brown did a great job filling in there last night.
