00:17paired with this is the top of the doorbell and this is what the remote for this was glued on or
00:33looks like a piece of you know tape stuck tape and there's corrosion on the inside of this
00:42so that was the first thing was to clean the corrosion with baking soda put in good batteries
00:49that you've tested now this is just a test button this uh now when you press it you'll see the led go
01:00on and there's the chime
01:05that's all it does uh but what i had to do was if you see these these are called jumper pins
01:19and i never touched them but i noticed here's one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven
01:29twelve thirty four fifteen so there's eight jumper pin sections 16 pins
01:37and i only had the three here but you could move those around if you think somebody
01:45has played with them and you just pull them off
01:49maybe get some tweezers
01:55just like on a computer see that you got the two pins that it goes around
02:07hope i don't ruin nothing here by taking them off

03:19there's those jumper pins now
03:27now this one's got four
03:30but i've never touched this since it's always worked good
03:35one two three four still eight sections
03:43and 16 pins and the first thing i noticed that
03:49when you try to turn the volume
03:53to the right
03:57increase or decrease
04:00that came loose
04:03about a year or two ago
04:05so there's maybe there's a glue
04:09that could stick that back on
04:12but i'm not going to touch that because i had these four screws out
04:16and
04:17what you'll notice the only thing that really holds it on
04:22is you're going to have to take these pins out
04:24and then the whole unit will slide
04:28so you can open it up
04:30and you'll see the speaker
04:32and all the other wiring
04:35so we're going to leave that there for now
04:40and i guess they sold these by
04:45tens of thousands like at walmart or whatever
04:49because i can't find a name on it
04:53now i'm going to try to look
04:55on the remote
04:58get a name
05:08i wonder if that
05:09name is on the inside of the

05:51out of baking soda and water

05:55just clean it off as best you could
05:57the best thing was probably an old toothbrush
05:59but make sure it's dry
06:02because you don't want to
06:03get any of the components wet
06:05or you might blow it up

06:25see that still won't click shut
