00:17and more in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
00:19Mills says he is quite satisfied
00:21with how Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor turned out,
00:24even though it didn't end with a proposal.
00:26He told THR,
00:27we thought it was great because it was real.
00:30We don't go, oh my gosh,
00:31there has to be a proposal in the end.
00:33I think that somehow got misconstrued.
00:35What's next?
00:38Give it everybody a shot.
00:39Looking toward next season of the reality franchise,
00:41Hannah B will star as the new Bachelorette.
00:44But who else was up for the gig?
00:45Mills revealed this case was basically a five-way tie
00:49between Hannah B, Hannah G, Tayshia, Kaelin, and Demi.
00:53So why Hannah B?
00:54According to Mills, there was just something different
00:56that we hadn't seen in a Bachelorette before.
00:59Very kind of charming and goofy.
01:00I want to use this as a first step
01:03for us seeing eye to eye with each other
01:06as we start this journey together.
01:08Who will tell you?
01:08I have heels on right now.
01:09As for Hannah B's appearance on the live finale,
01:11where she met her first five suitors,
01:13Mills acknowledged that the fan response was all over the map.
01:16But he said,
01:17I think it's very easy to teach somebody
01:19how to pick up a rose or say a name,
01:21but you can't fake the natural sort of charm
01:23and nervousness and everything that she had.
01:25And I thought that was really, really great.
