00:00just to step back and look at the optics of the jury. And I just want to kind of like hold space
00:04for that for a moment. And maybe anybody that's watching it and feeling uncomfortable,
00:09I want their feelings to feel validated. And also more specifically with MC too, I want to
00:15like hold space for her hurt feelings. But I think I want to use this time to like share some insight
00:21into like why I made those decisions. Every decision I made out there was about my family.
00:28I'm a broke dude from South Jersey. I live in LA. My bills do not stop. But I just thought this was
00:34my one opportunity to have a safety net for my siblings, you know? So every decision I made
00:40moving forward, I put that to that scale. So I think before I jump back to Alex, I want to
00:47mainly talk about the MC vote, which I think changed my game, unfortunately, not for the better.
00:52When MC comes to me and talks, she really confides in me and she's like, hey,
00:56I do not want to see another black person on the jury. And I was like, hey, thank you so much.
01:01I appreciate you. I think at that point, I took matters in my own hands, not to target MC.
01:08I was like, I want to make sure me and her see another day. So I go back to Sage and I'm like
01:13my number one who just saved me on the Shannon boot. I'm like, hey, please help me. Like, this is the
01:18problem I'm having. Like, can we stack votes on yellow Sophie and get her out tonight?
01:23Right. And there's a world where if that boat doesn't come with Savannah, that happens.
01:29But when Savannah came over, it was my worst nightmare. I just blindsided her and Rizzo.
01:34And Savannah was being extra nice to me around the camp that day. I was like, oh no, I'm cooked.
01:39She's never been this nice to me before, you know? So I think her presence really changed the air.
01:44And there was a big tug of war between MC or Rizzo and Savannah really fighting to keep
01:51Sophie. And my number one, who also likes Sophie too, because they have an out of game
01:56alternate story that I wasn't even aware of. So I was the only one trying to pull for MC to stay
02:02and MC wanted to have the votes. And I told her, I'm like, yo, you have, please play your shot in the
02:09dark. I think we just didn't have enough trust built at that point. So that's a long me rambling,
02:14but I just wanted to give some insight into that vote and how it affected the Alex vote.
02:18Yeah. I appreciate you saying that because I obviously spoke to MC two weeks ago and she
02:22opened up about the conversation that you guys had in the fall that wasn't fully aired and
02:26that she was hurt by you. So I appreciate you saying that. And also it's a game and there's
02:30real life stuff that goes on and it's, it's, it's hard, it's a fine line. And so I appreciate
02:34you saying that seriously. Yeah. Thank you for giving me the chance to talk about that.
02:39I want to talk about the Alex vote too, because I think it's like really connected
02:44too. So when I get back, I have to do damage control. I have to talk to Christina. I'm like,
02:48Hey, I am so sorry about what happened. Um, I had to go into survival mode because Savannah's
02:54boat came over, but there, if the boat doesn't come over, the plan was to get Rizzo. Um, and
03:02then, uh, I tell her, I'm like, please do not tell nobody. So when I wake up in the morning,
03:06the first person to talk to me was Rizzo. He's kind of mad too. He was like, bro, you're going to
03:11take me out. I was like, what? I was like, who told you that? And he said, Alex told me.
03:16And in my head, I'm like, that doesn't make sense. But I'm like, I'm kind of pissed. So
03:20I go back and I double back with Alex. This doesn't make the air. I go and talk to him
03:24by the water well. I'm like, Hey bro, you were, you told Rizzo about the plan. And he was
03:28like, what? No. Um, and he says something that kind of like hit me to my core. He was like,
03:34everyone's saying your name, Juwan. I'm like, who's everyone? And he said, don't worry about
03:39it. I can't tell you. Um, everyone's saying your name. And I feel like I wish I had a time
03:43machine to go back at that moment and be like, Alex, if you don't give me a name, bro, I'm
03:47going to think it's you. Cause at that point I thought Alex was a really, to give him some
03:52flowers, he was really moving and shaking out there. I think he was one of the most triple
03:57threat, you know, competitors out there, but I didn't notice he had relationships with
04:01everybody. So at that point, when I talked to Sage, we don't know that Sophie B has a
04:07knowledge as power. We don't know that Savannah has an extra vote. We just think it's a six
04:12to three majority with Rizzo flashing his idol. I thought we had more time. And, um, honestly,
04:19I did want Rizzo at that point, but, uh, Sage brought up a good idea that like by taking out
04:25Alex there, we would lull Rizzo and Savannah into a false sense of security. And it happened
04:31technically before Savannah gets, or yellow Sophie gets back to Savannah and Rizzo, they
04:37thought that we were with them. So, and I think that's kind of why Savannah doesn't like
04:41when, like she normally does, cause they were at peace. So I just want to give some context
04:47and again, hold space from the optics, but I want you to know my perception, uh, my, uh,
04:52my heart. I just wanted to win for my family.
04:55Again, thank you for sharing that. I appreciate that because, you know, I know that there's been
04:59kind of a spotlight now on the fact that multiple black players have been voted out and the entire
05:03jury at this point heading into the next episode is all black players. So what is your feelings
05:08about how that's kind of become, there's been a spotlight on that both from you guys out there,
05:12but also from the viewers now, as we're watching week by week, how are you feeling about that?
05:15Yeah. Yeah. First off, like it was a topic of discussion out there. Like me and Christina had a
05:21back and forth about it, you know? Um, I think as a viewer, it's hard to watch, you know, like,
05:29you know, when it happened to 42, I definitely, you know, uh, you know, I'm a part of the community
05:33too. So I definitely felt it, but I think in the game, it was so hard to put a pin on it,
05:40you know, and even experience it, experience it. I'm going to therapy to truly, truly kind of process.
05:46I'm like, what, why, why did that happen? You know? But I will say at least from my perspective,
05:52and I can only speak on me. I don't think there was any alternative motives. I think the game was
05:56so fluid and there were so many things, advantages, variables. So I think that's how I feel personally.
