00:00On the Carolina side of it, I give them a lot of credit.
00:07How real of a threat do you think they are to potentially take the South off of Tampa Bay?
00:12I don't. I don't think they're a threat.
00:14I think they have to play Tampa twice, right?
00:16They've yet to play, you know, so I think they'll split the series with Tampa.
00:20But at a certain point, I think Tampa just has them at arm's length.
00:23And even if the Bucs don't go into the end of the season blazing on fire,
00:27they will just win the division by default, essentially.
00:31Yeah, I think some of it could also just come down to strength of schedule as well.
00:34Like you said, the Bucs may only need a split to, like you said,
00:40completely kind of stiff arm them and that be the difference of it all.
00:44I'll add this, though, as someone who played Tett McMillan prior to last week
00:50to an offensive rookie of the year, I want to make sure that I'm not getting too excited
00:56at the markets movement.
00:59Because, Tom, I know you're a fan of the talent that is Emeka Egbuka.
01:03It feels like Tett McMillan's about to stuff him in a locker in terms of this race goes.
01:07I mean, Emeka just doesn't feel like the same guy.
01:11It's against the normal progression of rookie receivers,
01:14but it's just not the same right now.
01:17It isn't the injuries keep lingering with him, the hip, the groin injuries.
01:22I don't want to say have compounded as the season has gone on,
01:26but the explosiveness that we saw in the first eight weeks,
01:29a lot of people thought that this market was all wrapped up and said and done.
01:32And then as things develop with Tett and obviously Jackson Darden conversation now,
01:36I think that is a real sticking point when his Emeka Egbuka,
01:41this is his production has fallen off pretty significantly compared to where he was.
01:45The touchdowns are going to change, of course, but the yards and just the feel that he has now
01:49doesn't really seem the same as it was in the first five weeks.
01:53Yeah, to Tom's point for Emeka, he has, in his last seven games,
01:58the game against New England, he had six for 115 and a touchdown.
02:01In the other six games, no touchdowns.
02:04Once, he went above 50 yards.
02:08He's had under five receptions in four of those six games.
02:12It's just, he at the moment, I know McMillan's played an extra game,
02:16has now tied him for touchdowns and has him beat for catches and yards.
02:20It's going to be an interesting race to follow.
