00:00So, obviously, you've worked with Noah before on Marriage Story.
00:04Is your relationship such now where he could just call you up,
00:07or, like, how did you get involved with this project?
00:12Immediately.
00:12All he has to do is call me up and just say, we're doing this one.
00:17As he said, some of the parts will be small, some of the parts will be big,
00:21but we just got to keep being with each other because it's the time of my life,
00:26and he means the world to me.
00:29Greta means the world to me, and they've really become my family.
00:34And, you know, as this movie reflects on, you know, family matters,
00:39and we don't want to miss it.
00:40Not only do we not want to miss our lives, the film isn't about cinema.
00:45It's about people not missing their lives.
00:48But for those of us within film,
00:52why would we not want to get to do the thing we love with the people we love the most,
00:56if we're lucky?
00:57So I'm hoping for the handful of directors who have been my family in my life
01:03to keep working with them throughout my life.
01:06And you mentioned that this is a movie about people in the film industry.
01:10Did you draw out any of your own experiences in the business working on this film?
01:14Well, I definitely drew on the loyalty of one's publicist,
01:19because I've had the same one since I was 19, named Annette Wolfe,
01:24and she gets so embarrassed when I talk about her.
01:26But she has stood beside me since I was 19 years old, right after Blue Velvet.
01:31And, you know, it's another mother, sister, best friend figure that kind of carries you through the journey.
01:39So I've been very, very lucky to have a total class act.
01:44You know, and the people that are there to teach you and guide you, if you're lucky,
01:49they also teach you about boundaries and about protecting yourself
01:53and standing on your own, separate, in my case, from my parents' careers.
01:59And it's a lot to learn.
02:01So I was very lucky to have, you know, the very best teaching me.
