00:00Hey, it's a big day today for the Big Wake Up and the Big 95.7.
00:03We're getting ready to head out for a stress-free Thanksgiving,
00:06taking Turkey Day goodies to some very special, special folks.
00:11You'll hear more about those coming up, but we have special folks to make this happen.
00:15Big thank you, Honey Baked Ham, also the Flow Automotive Group, and McKenzie's Plumbing.
00:30Because it's been a great year for us, we can give back in a very special way.
00:40We have Holly and Kelly with us.
00:41We're in beautiful Benson today with another stress-free Thanksgiving.
00:45My name is Kelly Bloss, and I am the president of JoCo Angels Opioid Awareness and Support.
01:01I lost two children to overdose.
01:04From that loss, we've been working in our community to help people who are in addiction
01:12and that need recovery, and to try to get them the help that they need.
01:15Not have them experience the losses that we have.
01:20And my sister has experienced her own trauma, the loss of a son, the loss of a husband, addiction herself,
01:29and in the past two years has come out of all of that and is healing from that.
01:36Nominated my sister, not necessarily because of a financial need,
01:41but because of the way that they, her and her husband, their family utilized their financial resources for the community,
01:50how they've helped me in my own life.
01:53They're faithful walkers with the Lord, and they show that through their daily walk and their daily life.
02:00This house is open all the time.
02:03They do a regular Bible study here where the community is welcome.
02:06They serve a dinner every single Sunday that they buy out of their own pocket.
02:13And, you know, they just really have a heart to see people change their lives.
02:18And I just wanted to, in some small way, give back to what she gives to the community.
02:24She helped me and my girls to move out here.
02:26We actually live in the house right down the street, and we're rebuilding our lives and having a fresh start.
02:31And this is our first Thanksgiving together, and I just wanted to be able to help out in some small way.

02:43We are so blessed to get to do what we get to do.
02:46Today was the day for stress-free Thanksgiving.
