00:00Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome back to SGN.
00:05I am John Krasinski, and now let's get straight to the notes.
00:10John Krasinski has returned with some more good news.
00:13The actor-director launched his viral DIY YouTube show, Some Good News, last week
00:17to highlight positive stories as the world endures amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
00:22And now the newly minted YouTube star has dropped the second episode of his show on Sunday night,
00:27filled with more positivity and even a surprise Zoom performance with the original Broadway cast of
00:32Hamilton. He kicked off the show by acknowledging the response to his first episode, calling it both
00:36incredible and overwhelming, and even gave some shout-outs to those that gave him some notes.
00:41First of all, how dare you? And second of all, you're right.
00:46Krasinski also acknowledged all the people around the world who had committed an intellectual property
00:50heist and copied his format, but he didn't seem to mind.
00:53It's encouraged, because I'm very well aware I am only delivering the good news.
00:59You are the good news.
01:00Speaking of the good news of the week, Krasinski looked at how people and companies around the
01:04world had stepped up to provide much-needed medical supplies, including hockey equipment
01:08manufacturer Bauer, providing face shields for doctors and nurses on the front lines,
01:13fighting the coronavirus outbreak, and the New England Patriots who delivered over 1 million
01:17N95 masks on their plane.
01:19Listen, I know you had something to do with this, Tom Brady, and even though you ripped
01:23my heart straight out of my chest a few weeks ago, by God, you put it right back in with
01:28this beautiful act of kindness.
01:29Later in the show, Krasinski dropped a special Some Good News weather report featuring none
01:33other than Robert De Niro.
01:35Looks pretty good.
01:37And the positive-filled show ended with Krasinski zoom-bombing his young friend Aubrey with
01:43a surprise cameo from his wife Emily Blunt and a star-studded performance of Alexander
01:48Hamilton.
