AMC Theatres announced Thursday that it will play Grease in 135 of its theaters this weekend as a way of paying tribute to the Paramount film’s iconic star, the late Olivia Newton-John.

00:15The movie will play in 135 theaters as a way of paying tribute to the Paramount film's late iconic star,
00:21who portrayed the character Sandy opposite John Travolta as Danny Zuko.
00:25Newton-John died August 8th at her ranch in Southern California. She was 73.
00:34The Australian singer and actress was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992,
00:39and she announced in May 2017 that after 25 years in remission, the disease had spread to her lower back.
00:45The cost per moviegoer will be $5, with $1 of every ticket sold going to AMC's charitable fund, AMC Cares.
00:53The proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research.
00:56First released in 1978, Grease is still considered one of the most enduring film musicals of all time.
