00:00So this is a big one tonight for a couple of reasons.

00:03Number one, obviously you want to maintain your position

00:05and you're looking at seeding now for the playoffs

00:09and all these conversations that would have seemed ludicrous

00:12two, three months ago.

00:14But I look at what happens after the bye week here

00:18and you're going to be home against Buffalo

00:20who all of a sudden doesn't look like they're suffering

00:25the same issues they were suffering even just a few weeks ago.

00:28Well, to be honest, you kind of figured they'd turn themselves around

00:31at some point.

00:31You just would hope that the Patriots had enough cushion.

00:34Except this season is so weird, Mike.

00:35I don't know what to make of any team.

00:37My point only is this.

00:39Bills look like they haven't figured out.

00:40You could be looking at a loss there against Buffalo.

00:43Let's just, I mean, let's be honest with ourselves.

00:46What you don't want is to drop one tonight to a team

00:50that you should be able to beat and then all of a sudden

00:52after this great start of the season suffer two losses in a row.

00:56To me, they can't think that way.

00:58But I can.

00:59I have the luxury of thinking that way

01:01and wondering if that in any way kind of inspires them

01:05to get the job done tonight.

01:07Yeah, I hope so.

01:08I mean, it'd be a great way to wrap up this start to the season,

01:11which has been amazing.

01:12I mean, I don't think any of us saw this coming

01:14with the way they've been reeling off wins.

01:16And, you know, certainly seems a little bit like they're limping

01:19toward the finish line here before the bye week

01:21with some of the injuries that have piled up.

01:22And, you know, no Milton Williams, no Will Campbell,

01:25no Jared Wilson, no Brendan Schooler even on special teams.

01:28So every side of the ball is taking some hits.

01:30But I, you know, I just try to look at this

01:32as like a national audience game tonight,

01:35a chance to really wrap up this first part of the season

01:37and put a great bow on it.

01:39Maintain your spot atop the division or, you know,

01:41and the conference.

01:42Heard the guys talking this week about being the first team to 11 wins.

01:45I know that means a lot to them.

01:46So you're right.

01:47They've got four big games coming up,

01:49and those are all going to count for a lot,

01:51especially with the way, you know, playoff seating's going.

01:53They've got a real chance to really get in,

01:55maybe even get that bye.

01:57So love to just sneak out with a win tonight.

01:59I think it's going to be tough, though.

02:00I just think these Giants are going to come in,

02:01play fast and loose.

02:03And, you know, Jackson Dart can run.

02:04He can throw the ball down the field.

02:06So I think it's going to be a real challenge tonight.

02:07I'm kind of buckling up for a back-and-forth kind of game.
