The Toronto Film Festival on Tuesday unveiled the first titles for its 2019 edition, with Joaquin Phoenix's 'Joker' for Warner Bros., Tom Hanks' Fred Rogers biopic and DreamWorks' 'Abominable' set to receive high-profile premieres.

00:30is a darker, more cerebral take on the Batman villain.

00:36The 44th annual fest is set to run September 5th through 15th.
00:40Other noteworthy titles that landed a spot in the lineup include the Canadian premiere of
00:44Ford vs. Ferrari starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale, as well as the world premiere of the
00:48star-studded stripper drama Hustlers, whose cast includes Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu,
00:53Cardi B, and Lili Reinhart.
00:56But the list of big-name stars doesn't stop there.
01:06The film Just Mercy starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx, the Harriet Tubman biopic
01:10Harriet, and The Goldfinch starring Ansel Elgort and Nicole Kidman will all make their
01:17world premieres at TIFF.
01:18Elsewhere, the Panama Papers thriller The Laundromat starring Gary Oldman and Meryl Streep will
01:30also make its North American debut.
01:32The festival will close September 15th with a world premiere of Radioactive, which stars
01:36Rosamund Pike as Marie Curie.
