00:10Sadly, HBO Max's eagerly anticipated Friends reunion special is now being delayed.
00:15Due to the growing coronavirus concerns, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the unscripted special for the classic sitcom,
00:20which was set to be filmed next Monday and Tuesday, is now being delayed until at least May.
00:25The special, which many Friends fans had long been looking forward to, was set to reunite original cast members Jennifer Aniston,
00:32Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc on the show's iconic and former home at stage 24 at the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank.

00:47Now, it was only a matter of time before an announcement came,
00:50given the number of Hollywood productions that have come to a halt due to the current state of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
00:56The CDC's current recommendation is to avoid groups larger than 50,
01:00even something like the unscripted Friends reunion have hundreds of people on set at any given moment.

01:17However, sources say that despite production delays, the streamer is still on track for a May launch.
01:23Meanwhile, a formal rescheduled filming date for the Friends reunion has not been determined.
