South Korea’s largest e-commerce company, Coupang, has issued a public apology after a massive data breach exposed personal information from 33.7 million customer accounts. Government officials have launched an investigation to determine whether Coupang violated safety and data-protection rules. The company says it is cooperating fully with authorities as it works to contain the incident.
