00:00Meeting.
00:03There we go.
00:04You know what everybody's got.
00:05Guys, lock it up!
00:06Lock it up!
00:07Sound rolling!
00:08All the work!
00:19I'm gonna let the guys pitch the movie.
00:22Great.
00:23Okay.
00:24Tony?
00:25Yup.
00:26Please.
00:27Tell us what you think this movie is.
00:30Is that what a chairlift pitch is?
00:32You know what a chairlift is?
00:33It's a ten second pitch of the movie for the audiences who haven't seen it.
00:38It's about these two guys on an incredible road trip finding out more about each other
00:43and more how they need to be like each other and learning philosophies while all being fucking hilarious.
00:50Pretty good.
00:51Yeah.
00:52And also aliens.
00:53Massive amount of aliens.
00:54Time travel.
00:55And it's an erotic thriller.
00:57Jason may or may not get naked.
01:00Yeah.
01:01So Hannah, what was the inspiration behind the road trip movie?
01:04I was on a hike with a friend of mine and he told me this crazy story about how he picked
01:10up a homeless guy in Austin, Texas.
01:13And I thought that was insane.
01:16But it also reminded me of just, you know, classic dynamics that you find in movies like
01:23planes, trains and automobiles and sort of, you know, classic odd couple comedies.
01:29And it just made sense to start messing around with those characters.
01:35Yeah.
01:36I think in terms of the dynamic, it was pretty, Tony and I did not know each other before
01:39this.
01:40At all.
01:41But very quickly fell into like a very funny kind of good.
01:44Yeah.
01:45Rapport dynamic that was just really fun to play with, especially because we were trapped
01:50in a terrible minivan for weeks on end.
01:53That I was driving that had no AC with like seven people crammed in the back.
01:58Yeah.
01:59So we had a lot of fun and it was very fun to kind of just like dig in on who these guys
02:03are and how I could most make Tony uncomfortable.
02:08And he did.
02:09He did quite a lot.
02:10It was real.
02:11We also filmed in a really disgusting motel.
02:14Maybe the most disgusting place we've all ever been in our lives.
02:19Oh, well, I don't know if we're supposed to be talking about how we were almost murdered.
02:24Right.
02:25You guys were almost murdered?
02:27No, no, no.
02:28We're being hyperbolic, but.
02:30I got a threat from this one guy who was like, you know, you should probably leave
02:35before the lights, the sun goes down, you know.
02:37Because it's dangerous.
02:38You don't want to get shot.
02:39Yeah, because it's dangerous here.
02:41What songs are in your go-to road trip playlist?
02:45One more time.
02:49Um.
02:50Bruce Bracey.
02:51There, yeah.
02:52There's quite a bit of Springsteen, I think.
02:55Yeah.
02:56Jason made.
02:57A song.
02:59Can you sing a song?
03:01Recorded an album.
03:02If you guys want me to sing the song.
03:03I would love for you to sing the song.
03:04This is the long, dumb road.
03:08Talking about this long, dumb road.
03:11Can't believe how long it is.
03:14It's not a smart road.
03:16It's a dumb road.
03:17This is just the beginning.
03:18This is the kind of opening overture.
03:20I was proposing that the movie should be completely sung like Hamilton.
03:24I was shot down.
03:26Anyway, it doesn't matter.
03:27I won't get into the rest of it because it's got pretty salty language.
03:30Now is the time for a fun game though with the ring toss.
03:34Oh.
03:35Oh.
03:36Hey!
03:37You're up.
03:38Oh.
03:39No, I'm really good.
03:40I'm really good.
03:41I'm really good.
03:42Oh my God.
03:43Oh my God.
03:44I missed too.
03:45Oh.
03:46Oh.
03:47Oh.
03:48Oh.
03:49Oh.
03:50Oh.
03:51Oh.
03:52Oh.
03:53Oh.
03:54Oh.
03:55Oh.
03:56Oh.
03:57Oh.
03:58Oh.
03:59Oh.
04:00Oh my God.
04:01Oh.
04:05Oh.
04:06Oh.
04:07Oh my God.
04:08Oh my God.
04:10Oh.
