00:15The 10-episode series is described as the jazz-inspired genre-bending story of a ragtag
00:19crew of bounty hunters on the run from their past, as they hunt down the solar system's
00:24most dangerous criminals, working from their spaceship called Bebop.
00:28Cho is coming off of an acclaimed performance in Searching, which earned him an Indie Spirit Award nomination.
00:33Now in Cowboy Bebop, Cho will play Spike Spiegel, which Netflix describes as an impossibly cool cowboy,
00:46aka bounty hunter, with a deadly smile, a wry writ, and style to spare.
00:50Shakir is playing his ex-cop partner Jet Black, who's described as one of the few honest cops in the solar
00:55system before an ultimate betrayal robbed him of all that he loved, forcing him into a vagabond life,
01:01hunting bounties to put food on the table. Meanwhile, Pineda is playing Faye Valentine,
01:05a thief and con artist, while Hassel is playing Vicious, Spiegel's ex-partner who is now out to kill him.
