Ariana Madix shares how she felt learning that the cast for 'Vanderpump Rules' would not return for the next season while chatting with THR at the Women in Entertainment gala. Plus, she shares how proud she was to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

00:00Congratulations on everything that's been going on in your life right now.

00:04You just performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. What was that like?

00:07Oh, it was incredible. I've been watching it my entire life.

00:10We would always put on the parade while we were getting up, cooking, everything.

00:15So as a lifelong fan of the parade, probably when I was a little kid,

00:19I was like, I'm going to be in that parade one day.

00:22To be there, being a part of it was so incredible.

00:25There was this really surreal moment when I had been waving at people

00:30and I hadn't really looked up.

00:32And it wasn't until we were crossing Columbus Circle.

00:35And I looked up and all I could see was like the Paw Patrol balloon in front of me.

00:41And the NYPD horses were behind me.

00:43And I was just like, this is crazy.

00:46Were you like, what is my life right now?

00:48Yes. Yeah. It was awesome.

00:51How would you describe this phase in your life that you're in right now?

00:54I feel, you know, I'm turning 40 next year.

00:58Not to remind everyone, but 40 and young.

01:02Yes, there you go.

01:03Instead of like 30, flirty and thriving, it's like 40, fun and I don't know.

01:09Another F word.

01:11But I feel like I'm coming into a phase in my life

01:15where I'm finally in control of my own destiny.

01:18And that feels really, really good.

01:20Well, of course, the big news was Vanderpump Rules, the cast.

01:25We're changing it up. We're switching it up.

01:27What were your thoughts when you heard that?

01:29I mean, I think it makes sense.

01:31I think when you look at where the show started

01:35and where it ended up at the end of last season,

01:38it really felt like that was a good choice for them to make.

01:42And, you know, I'm relieved that, you know,

01:45we've been having some conversations, you know, behind the scenes.

01:48And it's nice for the fans to be able to know, like, what's coming

01:51because I think a lot of people were unsure because nothing had been said.

01:56And so it is a bit of a relief that it's all out there.

02:04I sure hope so.
