Transcript
00:00Hosting Love Island this past season, it was so well received and this season was such a success and a lot of people really gave you credit for that in your hosting. What was that fan response like for you?
00:09It was incredible. Love Island, all of the iterations on all of the different countries. It's been my favorite show for a really long time so to be able to be a part of it on that level was amazing.
00:18But I don't feel like I can really take credit because the cast was so absolutely incredible. They just had the personality, they had the connections with each other and they really just gave themselves and I feel like it was all them.
00:31You've been so busy from Broadway, The Sandwich Shop, Love Island. Will we get to see you on the next season of Vanderpump Rules?
00:38I don't know.
00:40You can't say, totally understandable.
00:42But just what has this whole year been like for you with all these new opportunities that have popped up?
00:46It's been a dream come true. I mean, when you've been kicking around in this business as long as I have, you wonder if certain things are ever going to happen, you know, and I'm 39.
00:58So, you know, you start to look at that clock and wonder, you know, what is my future going to hold?
01:02And so it's been a dream come true to be able to work.
01:06I've always wanted to just be someone who's able to do what I love and be able to make a living doing it.
01:12So I'm just really, really grateful for that.
01:13The new season of Dancing with the Stars is about to kick off.
01:16What's your advice for the contestants having been through that rodeo before?
01:20Book your appointments with the physical therapist now and book them now and book them often.
01:27That takes such a toll on your body like no other thing I've ever experienced in my life.
01:33But also just have so much fun.
01:35When that click track starts and that music starts and the live audience is there, it is electric.
01:40And so it is the best time. It's so much fun.
01:43Who are you rooting for this season?
01:46Well, I have to root for my boy Pasha, obviously.
01:49But there's so many incredible people.
01:51I am an old school Orlando Magic fan.
01:53So Dwight Howard, I'm very excited to see.
01:55I'm not sure how the height difference is going to work with him and Danny, but I'm very excited for that.
01:59I'm excited for Val and Phaedra.
02:01I think she's going to be so much fun.
02:03There's so many exciting.
02:06Oh, Brandon and Chandler.
02:07Like, I think they're going to be real top contenders.
02:09So, yeah, I'm just excited to see how it all plays out.
02:12And like I was saying earlier, you've been so busy.
02:15What was the highlight of your Broadway experience for you?
02:17Oh, just the family that we have there, the Ambassador Theater.
02:23They are truly my family.
02:25I feel like we sit backstage and we joke and we tell each other our deepest, darkest secrets.
02:31And if we're having a bad day, we work that out with each other.
02:34And we get to perform every night and we get to all live our dreams.
02:37And so, yeah, it's definitely everybody there, the Ambassador and everyone in that company.
