00:00In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Logan Paul is coming clean about what exactly
00:04happened in that Japanese suicide forest, how his $13 million empire collapsed, and his
00:10plan to finally earn forgiveness.
00:12Marking his first profile since his suicide forest scandal nearly a year ago, the internet
00:16superstar says he wants one more chance.
00:19I've made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgment, and I don't expect to be forgiven.
00:26I'm simply here to apologize.
00:27In the 10 months since that fateful trip, the 23-year-old YouTuber has kept a relatively
00:32low profile.
00:33But now, Paul swears up and down that he's a new man.
00:36He told THR,
00:44Paul recalls before the incident,
00:57in the largest degree possible.
00:59So what exactly happened in that forest when Paul and his friends found a suicide victim?
01:03He recalls,
01:04Following his return to the US, Paul says he went directly from the airport to his home,
01:16where 10 of his handlers, including his manager, CAA agents, and other assorted lawyers and publicists,
01:22had gathered for an emergency meeting.
01:24It lasted eight hours.
01:26Paul learned his projects were being pushed or not released at all.
01:29He says,
01:30According to Paul, his new life plan is to taper off from YouTube and focus on a podcast he's
01:40preparing to launch.
01:41He named it Impulsive, calling it a play on my last name and my tendencies.
01:46Wow, what a fight, man, what a fight, what a night.
01:51I still have a black eye from the fight.
01:55So is Logan Paul canceled forever?
01:57Well, YouTube did end up releasing his previously polled film,
02:00The Thinning New World Order, on October 17th.
02:02And since the Suicide Forest video, his follower count has actually increased by a million.
02:07He tells THR,
02:08Good luck trying to cancel me.
02:10It's so easy for anyone to be like,
02:11Logan Paul just ended his career, he's done.
02:14But the only person who will ever decide whether that's true is me.
