The actress and 'Underworld' star confirmed she didn't get hurt while filming, but as she was "putting on a pair of leggings in my hotel room."

00:00I went to hospital and was given a lot of drugs and I don't drink at all.

00:03So I really found out what kind of a drunk I am fast.

00:08Kate Beckinsale is clarifying the cause of her injury which sent her to the hospital over a month ago.

00:13The actress first shared that she was admitted to an emergency room back on September 12th in an Instagram post.

00:19But stopping by the Late Late Show on Monday night, the star revealed why she was admitted in the first place.

00:24Beckinsale assured host James Corden that it wasn't due to an onset injury as many assumed.

00:29Having done eight or nine hundred action movies, I hurt myself putting on a pair of leggings in a hotel room.

00:35Although it wasn't an onset injury, she noted her trip to the hospital did take place while she was filming an upcoming project.

00:41I was doing a, you know, very intense emotional drama and not running up walls or anything.

00:46And I was in my hotel room putting on a pair of leggings and then sort of, it felt like a kind of a guitar string snapped.

00:53She went on to describe the feeling of her injury as both horrific and worse pain than delivery.

00:58I couldn't walk and I couldn't lie down. I couldn't sit down. I couldn't do anything.

01:02Beckinsale said once taken to the hospital, she was given a lot of drugs.

01:06And as someone who doesn't drink at all, being heavily medicated ultimately taught her what kind of a drunk she was.

01:11So I'm not a kind of, do you know who I am? Have you seen all my films type?

01:14Which is a huge relief. So I'm really glad I'm not.

01:17But I am a, everybody's trying to steal my f***ing ovaries.
