00:11Barack Obama delivered an inspirational message on Jimmy Kimmel Live's annual Red Shopathon
00:16special on Giving Tuesday. Kimmel hosted the event for the third year in a row, surprising
00:21his audience with star-studded guest appearances and a special message from the former president,
00:26all to encourage viewers to join the fight against HIV-AIDS and contribute by purchasing
00:31the Red products featured in the episode. Obama recorded a motivational video message for the
00:35charity-centered show. He began by informing the audience that everyone embodies different roles,
00:40emphasizing that he isn't just a former president, but a husband who hasn't done his Christmas
00:45shopping yet. He added,
00:56Obama's message later took a comical turn when the former president joked that those
01:03who shop and contribute could win this prize.

01:12The special also featured other fun moments, including actress Kristen Bell helping her
01:17pal Kimmel advertise potential Christmas gifts, where Bryan Cranston took a shower with

01:29As part of this segment, Rita Wilson offered a show makeover to an audience member who had
01:34quite a magical transformation.

01:41And DJ Khaled even brought out his son to model the dream blanket, onesies and a portable charger.
01:47Tuesday night's episode also featured Red co-founder Bono offering up his take on Frank Sinatra's
01:52classic, One for My Baby, with a special cameo from Sean Penn.

02:00Later in the song, the camera cut away from the black-and-white scene and Coldplay's
02:04Chris Martin took over the vocals.
02:06Bono also announced he would be breaking a massive pact he made when he was a teenager
02:10for a charitable cause. Red has partnered with Omaze to raffle off experiences with stars
02:15for a $10 donation. Bono contributed a chance to play mini-golf with him and his band,
02:20even though he swore he'd never ever play mini-golf because he was a true rock and roll guy.
02:25The guest stars concluded Kimmel's special show with a performance of a song called
02:29We're Going to Hell. Stars included Bell, Ashton Kutcher, Bono, DJ Khaled, Wilson, Diddy,
02:35and Kimmel on the piano.
