00:33as the drama was the top-rated new scripted series of the season.

00:36Now, if you haven't become addicted to Manifest yet,

00:38the show centers on passengers of a plane that disappeared five years earlier

00:42and were presumed dead, only to reappear with no time having passed for them.

00:47We've all been missing, presumed dead, for five and a half years.

00:53Manifest started strong in the ratings, drawing the best premiere numbers

00:56for any new series in the fall.

00:58It faded in the back half of its 16-episode season, but never lost its place

01:02as the top first-year scripted show in adults 18 to 49.

01:06The show is also a strong performer on NBC's digital platforms.

01:09I can't help but think that we're on the verge of discovering something awful.

01:13Manifest is the 12th scripted series NBC has renewed for 2019 to 2020.

01:18As far as dramas go, the network has also renewed Chicago Fire, Chicago Med,

01:22Chicago PD, Good Girls, Law & SVU, and New Amsterdam.
