Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson dish on winning their Emmy and collaborating with "Weird Al" Yankovic while on the red carpet for the 2024 Grammy Awards. Plus, they share who they're rooting for in the Super Bowl 2024.

00:00So you just won an Emmy and now you're here at the Grammys. How are you guys feeling? It's a big month

00:05It's been busy

00:07What was your reaction when you learned that you won the Emmy for the Weird Al movie?

00:12Um, blackout. Blackout pretty hard. Yeah, it was totally insane. We both heard the wuh come out

00:19When they said weird. Yeah, and like the minute the W was sounded we were like, oh my god. This actually happens

00:24It was an unbelievable experience

00:27What was the best part about collaborating with Al?

00:30Weird Al. Um, he is like the most chill hands-off creative collaborator like very creative

00:36But also will let you figure out how to solve the creative conundrum yourself

00:41And so he I mean he was on tour during a lot of the movie and would be like playing concerts like the

00:46Like we would be start a zoom meeting and he would be like

00:49I gotta go play a concert and then would come back at the end of the zoom meeting having just played for a bunch of people

00:53Which is so cool and like, you know, listen the music gave such good feedback like his notes were

00:58Kind of so specific in like he's got such a good like sense of comedy and so I I thought he was a dream collaborator

01:05Yeah, and he's also just like he's an icon. Yeah, so yeah, it's like we could it is my first concert ever

01:12So when I was eight years old, so it was just like it was just an awesome awesome experience

01:16And it's even more incredible for us that were like on this bill with him at the Grammys like that

01:21We're we're sharing an album nomination with her, you know like

01:24What an amazing full circle moment. I love that and speaking of icons so many iconic artists here's to not here tonight

01:32Who's someone you'd love to run into on this red carpet?

01:35Um, I'm like a huge fan of the banjo player Bella Fleck and I believe he's nominated and I would love to run into him

01:42But I also think he might be on tour. So maybe not here

01:44I thought you were gonna say Taylor, but I thought that was the easy answer

01:47I mean, I love the Olivia Rodrigo album, and I think I would nerd out if I if I saw her

01:52Yeah, and I feel like there's a here. There might be like some metal bands to that. I really like

01:57You said Taylor are you two Swifties big big Swifty? Yeah, you saw she changed the profile picture today

02:06I'm not that I'm not that caught up. What what is it people think breaking news?

02:11Oh, I'll give you the news people think that reputation Taylor's version

02:14She might announce it today when she wins an award

02:18She would definitely win the media cycle with that like big time

02:27Oh, yeah, we're rooting for tough because I'm a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan

02:31Um, so, you know, I have a lot of mixed feelings on Travis Kelsey, but amazing football player and great guy

02:38Who are we rooting for next weekend the Chiefs the 49ers or absolutely the 49ers like

02:44Christian McCaffrey I think deserves a

02:46MVP to be honest

02:47Yeah, yeah, I'm a big Swifty so I have to say Chiefs, but we'll agree to disagree, but it's great expanding the audience both ways
