00:00I mean, this is pretty cool. What are we, 17 years later and we're back at the premiere?
00:04I am absolutely delighted that I got called back in to play this part. I had
00:10accepted that I wasn't coming back. I had mourned that. And to get to play this role again was a
00:19complete surprise. And when Nate and Kiana called me a few years ago and said, we're bringing back
00:26Samuel Stearns. I did figurative somersaults.
00:34I mean, it's interesting. I went back and watched The Incredible Hulk last night and
00:37it's very interesting to watch because you can feel the infancy of the MCU starting to form and
00:43that ending moment with RDJ. So what has it been like for you sitting back and kind of seeing how
00:48big it's gotten and now getting to come back in the sandbox and see how different it is now?
00:53What Marvel has accomplished is unprecedented in cinema history. There are certainly very
01:02successful franchises, but not with interrelated movies and storylines reflected in the original
01:13IP that then materialize in this lattice of movies, the way that Kevin and his team have accomplished.
01:21Uh, I'm excited. I was there at the beginning to get to come back and take part in that incredible
01:30accomplishment, uh, in this later stage. I couldn't be happier.
01:37Yeah. I have no idea how old you are. So I'm not, I've, and I'm bad at math. Were you like on the set
01:42back? Like, do you remember anything about? Uh, not really. I think I was four or five at the time,
01:47something like that. And, uh, I don't know. It certainly my ability to perceive of his roles is
01:56a lot, you know, better now than it was when I was, uh, you know, in kindergarten, you know? Um,
02:01but I, I don't know. I just remember seeing him with the big head, uh, and, and, and that's about
02:09it. Yeah. Do you have any like memorabilia in the house? Marvel memorabilia or? Yeah. Uh, I don't
02:17think any much that he knows of. Um, I have a lot of the old comics. No, he'll probably end up with
02:23them actually. If we were to do it, it's, since it's been a while, if we did a previously on Dr.
02:28Samuel Sterns, what, what has he been up to? He has not been sitting around feeling sorry for
02:35himself. He's been working on stuff. He's been working on stuff and it's revealed in this movie
02:40in a pretty profound and exciting way. I can't wait to see it. Thanks so much. You bet.
