00:00California Disney fans who have been eagerly awaiting when they can return to the SoCal
00:04parks have a reason to celebrate. Disneyland has announced the date a portion of California
00:08Adventure will reopen. Buena Vista Street will welcome back guests beginning November 19th
00:13for shopping and outdoor dining. Currently, the downtown Disney district is open, but the rest
00:18of the sprawling Southern California resort remains closed due to restrictions put in place
00:22because of the novel coronavirus pandemic. It is assumed the reopened area will be decorated
00:26in Disney's signature holiday style. On Twitter, Disneyland said that Buena Vista Street will
00:31extend the downtown Disney district and will also allow attendees to discover new and returning
00:35favorite menu items, plus holiday gifts, apparel, and more. It was announced last month that
00:40California Adventure Sands Rides would reopen amid the ongoing battle between the state's major theme
00:45parks and Governor Gavin Newsom. Fans were encouraged by the news and likely so were employees as
00:50hundreds were recalled from furlough. Just as with downtown Disney, guests at California Adventure
00:55will be required to have their temperature checked and wear a proper mask. Capacity will be capped to
01:00allow for social distancing. For more on this story, head to THR.com. For The Hollywood Reporter News,
