00:13basketball players the NBA has ever seen as Kobe Bryant tragically passed away in a helicopter

00:18crash in Calabasas. Kobe was accompanied by his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, Harbor Day

00:23School's assistant basketball coach Christina Mauser, as well as Orange Coast College baseball

00:28coach John Altobelli, his wife Carrie, and their daughter Alyssa. Emergency personnel responded,

00:33but unfortunately none of the passengers on board survived. The group were reportedly on their way

00:37to Mamba Academy in Thousand Oaks. Celebs, athletes, influencers, and more took to social media

00:42yesterday in collective heartbreak. People like James Charles, Nate Shaw, and even Austin McBroom

00:47of the Ace family who said, I am speechless. You are someone who inspired me to be great.

00:52Ever since I was a kid, you inspired me to be one of the greatest basketball players.

00:55Ninja tweeted, World War 3 scares the coronavirus and now we lost Kobe to a helicopter crash.

01:01Say it ain't so, 2020 is horrific. Deji reacted and said, we just lost a great,

01:05sad way to start 2020. And Jake Paul said in part, sending so much love to Kobe's family,

01:10this can't be real, so heartbreaking. Mike Malak reacted in several ways,

01:14one of which said, celebrity deaths have always been a weird thing, but this one feels palpable

01:18and for so many. There is a new and noticeable hole in the world today, an absolute tragedy.

01:23And as for Logan Paul, he took to Twitter to say, heartbreaking, absolutely effing heartbreaking.

01:27Marquez Brownlee shared this photo from his interview with Kobe and said,

01:31no words will help to process losing Kobe. He continued, first interview I ever did was

01:35Kobe Bryant. I was nervous as hell, practically shaking, and he enthusiastically guided me through

01:40it all like a pro, giving me confidence through the whole thing. We'll keep that with me forever.

01:45Kobe is survived by his wife, Vanessa, and three of their four daughters.
