Jonathan Glazer has donated several signed 'The Zone of Interest' posters to a Gaza humanitarian relief action. The filmmaker has kept a low profile since his controversial 2024 Oscars acceptance speech, but he recently resurfaced to donate seven signed posters for his Oscar-winning movie, as well as a selection of posters for his 2014 film 'Under the Skin,' to the Cinema for Gaza auction that is raising funds for the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

00:06The filmmaker has kept a low profile since his controversial 2024 Oscars acceptance speech,
00:11but he recently resurfaced to donate seven signed posters for his Oscar-winning movie,
00:15as well as a selection of posters for his 2014 film Under the Skin,
00:19to the Cinema for Gaza auction that is raising funds for the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians.
00:24The auction organizers stated online,
00:26We are moved beyond words to feature donations from Jonathan Glazer and his co-creators on the most confronting film of our time, The Zone of Interest.
00:33The film posters donated by Glazer and Zone of Interest producer James Wilson have so far drawn a bid of £3,200, or about $4,048, with the auction to end on April 12th.
00:44Glazer referenced the current Israel-Hamas war while accepting the Best International Feature Award at the 2024 Oscars.
00:50His comments drew praise from those calling for a ceasefire for the conflict and sharp criticism from pro-Israel and Jewish leaders in Hollywood.
00:57To date, the Cinema for Gaza auction has raised £48,808, or about $61,645.
