00:20We received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer.

00:27That news was covered that morning by an emotional Savannah Guthrie and Kotb who filled in for Lauer.
00:32Hoda's here with me this morning because this is a sad morning here at Today and at NBC News.
00:37The announcement of her appointment as Lauer's permanent replacement was made early Tuesday by Andy Lack, chairman of NBC News Group.
00:43I'm pinching myself. I think that we should send some medics to Alexandria, Virginia, where my mom has likely faded.
00:49Kotb also celebrated the news on Twitter using the hashtag SavannahHodaToday.
00:53Guthrie and Kotb will co-anchor the 7 to 9 a.m. hours along with weather anchor Al Roker and Orange Room host Carson Daly.
00:59Kotb will also continue co-hosting the 10 a.m. hour of Today with Kathie Lee Gifford, which she's been doing since 2008.
01:06Guthrie and Kotb will form the first all-female anchoring duo of Today but won't be the first all-female team on a national morning show.
01:12Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts co-anchored Good Morning America on ABC from 2006 to 2009.
01:18In a memo, Lack said that Guthrie and Kotb have gelled as co-anchors in the last few weeks.
01:22They have an undeniable connection with each other and, most importantly, with viewers, a hallmark of Today, he wrote.
01:28Kotb joined NBC News in 1998 as a correspondent for Dateline.
01:32She also is the host of The Hoda Show on Sirius XM.
