00:00Wendy? Sometimes, if you don't move forward, you die.
00:09Looks like Ozark is coming to an end on Netflix. It was announced that the final run of the Emmy
00:13winning series will conclude with an expanded order for its fourth and final season. Netflix
00:18has ordered 14 episodes for season four, as opposed to their usual 10 that were ordered for
00:23each of the prior three seasons. The final season will be split into two equal parts and will mark
00:27the final chapter in the Byrd family's journey from suburban Chicago to a criminal enterprise in
00:32the Ozarks. Showrunner and executive producer Chris Mundy spoke out about the news, saying,
00:37We're so happy Netflix recognized the importance of giving Ozark more time to end the Byrd saga right.
00:42It's been such a great adventure for all of us, both on screen and off, so we're thrilled to get
00:46the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible. Added fellow executive producer and
00:51star Jason Bateman, a supersized season means supersized problems for the Byrds. I'm excited
00:56to end with a bang. Ozark, produced by MRC Television, won two Emmys in 2019 for directing
01:01for Bateman and supporting performance for Julia Garner. Series regulars Bateman, Laura Linney,
01:06Julia Garner, Sophia Hublitz, and Skylar Gartner are all set to return for the final season.
01:12Dates for the season have yet to be set as production for many series remain in limbo due
01:15to the coronavirus pandemic. For more on this story, head to THR.com. For The Hollywood Reporter News,
