00:23A spokesperson for the New York Police Department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that a total of 30 individuals were taken into custody
00:29and issued two summonses for trespassing and disorderly conduct before they were released.
00:34A Jewish Voice for Peace spokesperson confirmed that Schaefer was among those detained.
00:38The group also sent out a press release saying that 50 people, including Schaefer, were arrested.
00:43The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Schaefer's reps about the incident, but messages were not immediately returned.
00:48The communications director for Jewish Voice for Peace told THR on Wednesday,
00:52We commend Hunter Schaefer's commitment to Palestinian freedom and to a future of justice for everyone.
00:56They noted that the organization is committed to holding protests and disruptions across the country.
