The production of "No Time to Die' was dogged by one problem after another — most of them quite serious.

00:00Daniel Craig is opening up about all the highs and lows of playing James Bond,
00:11including talks about the latest 007 being cursed. The final Bond film was plagued by a
00:16series of problems and setbacks, but talking to GQ in an in-depth profile about his
00:20decades worth of work, the 007 star said he was furious every time he read a headline
00:25saying that the film was cursed. The production on the latest and 25th chapter in the
00:29Bond franchise No Time To Die made headlines constantly as it was dogged by one problem
00:34after another. From one-time director Danny Boyle walking away from the project over
00:38creative differences, to Craig undergoing ankle surgery resulting from an injury
00:41sustained while filming last May, to a controlled explosion going wrong last June
00:46which resulted in one crew member being hurt along with damage to the exterior of a
00:50Pinewood Studios stage, it seemed like the film might never see the light of day. And now
00:55the film will not be released until November because of the coronavirus outbreak. But do
00:59not tell Craig the film is cursed. He tells GQ, it pisses me off because I'm just like
01:03don't curse our movie, and also we're doing our best here. Craig also told the magazine
01:08he's proud of No Time To Die, but he's done with Bond. In fact the actor reveals that he
01:12wanted to be done after the last Bond film.
01:14I was never going to do one again. I was like, is this work really genuinely worth this
01:18to go through this, this whole thing? And I didn't feel, I felt physically really low.
01:23So the prospect of doing another movie was just like, it was off the cards. And that's why it's been
01:27five years. But nonetheless, Craig pulled through and the highly publicized film is set
01:31to roll out November 25th. Alright, for more on this story, head to THR.com.
