00:00Stop scrolling! We just got insider info on 18 brand new PS5 games confirmed for 2026,
00:06and you seriously don't want to miss this. Forget everything you thought you knew about
00:09the PlayStation's future. These titles are set to redefine your gaming experience and
00:14could be the next massive hits. Get ready to update your wishlists.
00:18Alright, so if you played the first Code Vein and thought, man, I wish there was more of this
00:23gorgeous anime vampire chaos. Bandai Namco heard you. Code Vein. Two drops. January 30th,
00:292026, and honestly, I'm way more excited than I expected to be. Look, the first game flew under
00:35a lot of radars. It was this weird, beautiful Souls-like that combined anime aesthetics with
00:40this absolutely bonkers post-apocalyptic vampire story. And yeah, it was rough around the edges,
00:46but it had so much heart. The companion system, the character creator that people spent literal
00:50hours in, there was something special there. Now we're getting a sequel, and from what we've seen,
00:55they've cranked everything up. The environments look stunning, the combat seems way more refined,
01:00and they're keeping that gothic atmosphere that made the original stand out. You're still playing
01:04as a revenant, still fighting through this ruined world where humans and vampires are just trying
01:09to survive, but everything feels more polished. What I'm really hoping for is that they've expanded
01:13the build variety. The first game had some cool options, but a sequel needs to go deeper. More blood
01:18codes, more weapon types, more ways to make your character feel uniquely yours. If they nail that,
01:23plus improve the level design, this could be something really special. January can't come fast
01:27enough. Okay, Dragon Quest VII. This is a big one, and I need you to understand what we're dealing
01:33with here. The original game? We're talking over 100 hours of content. This is not a weekend game.
01:38This is a lifestyle choice. February 5th, 2026, Square Enix is dropping a full remake, and they're
01:43calling it Reimagined for a reason. The original came out on PlayStation back in 2000, got a 3DS
01:49version later. But neither of those prepared us for what this looks like now. We're talking
01:53full modern graphics, completely rebuilt from the ground up. The story follows this group
01:57of kids who discover their island is literally the only land in the entire world. Everything
02:01else? Just ocean. But then they find these ancient ruins, start traveling through time,
02:06and begin restoring continents that were erased from existence. It's what wide. You're basically
02:10undeleting the world, one piece at a time. And here's the thing about Dragon Quest. It doesn't
02:16try to be edgy or complicated. It's just pure, wholesome JRPG comfort food. Slimes, great music,
02:23charming towns, turn-based battles that somehow never get old. If you've never experienced this
02:27one, February is your chance to see why Dragon Quest fans are the most loyal fans in gaming.
02:32This is the real deal. Team Ninja said,
02:35You thought we were done? Nioh 3 is coming February 6th, 2026, and it's a PS5 console exclusive.
02:41If you've been craving that brutal, unforgiving samurai combat, this is it. So here's what's
02:46happening. We're playing as young Tokugawa Takechiyo, who history buffs we'll know eventually
02:51becomes one of the most powerful shoguns in Japanese history. But right now, he's just a
02:55kid thrown into absolute chaos, fighting through a demon-infested Japan on his path to power.
03:00What's got me hyped is the dual combat system. You can play as a samurai focusing on that aggressive,
03:05weapon-based combat the series is known for, or switch to a ninja style for something faster and
03:10more technical. That's huge. It essentially doubles your options for how you want to approach
03:14every single encounter. And let's be real, Team Ninja doesn't mess around. These games will humble
03:19you. The combat is deep, the bosses are punishing, and the satisfaction, when you finally nail a
03:23perfect run against an enemy that killed you 50 times, nothing else feels like it. Plus,
03:28being console exclusive means they're really optimizing this for PS5. Faster loading, better
03:32performance, all of it. February is absolutely stacked, but Nioh 3 might be the one I'm most ready
03:37to suffer through. Bring the pain. Okay, I know this series isn't for everyone, and that's totally
03:43fine. But if you played the first High on Life and laughed your way through it, February 13th,
03:482026 is about to be a really good day for you. Squanch Games, that's Justin Roiland's studio by the
03:54way, is back with more talking guns, more absurd alien humor. And this time, skateboard. Yeah, you can
04:00skateboard around now. Because why wouldn't you be able to skateboard while your gun won't stop making
04:04jokes about the alien you just shot? The first game was genuinely one of the funniest games I've
04:08played in years. The weapons all have personalities. Kenny, your starting pistol, never shuts up. Gus is
04:14this shotgun that's weirdly philosophical, and the whole game just embraces this chaotic, improvised
04:20comedy vibe that either works for you or absolutely doesn't. For the sequel, they're adding new weapons
04:25that are somehow even more bizarre, the worlds look bigger, and they're leaning harder into the
04:30traversal with those skateboards. I'm expecting more Rick and Morty energy, more fourth wall breaks,
04:35and more moments where I have to pause because I'm laughing too hard to aim properly. It's dumb.
04:39It knows it's dumb. And honestly, sometimes that's exactly what you need. Not every game has to be
04:44serious. High on Life 2 is here to make you laugh while shooting aliens. Also dropping February 13th
04:50is Re-Animal, and this one is completely different. If you played Little Nightmares and had actual
04:55nightmares afterward, the team behind that is back, and I'm already uncomfortable. Tarsier
04:59Studios knows how to make you feel small, vulnerable, and absolutely terrified without
05:04relying on jump scares. Their whole thing is atmosphere, and Re-Animal looks like they've
05:08taken everything they learned and pushed it further. This time we're following a brother
05:12and sister navigating through these twisted, nightmarish environments together. And yeah,
05:17it's co-op. You can play this with a friend, which honestly might make it scarier because now
05:21you have someone to panic with when things go wrong. And things will go wrong. The art style
05:25is haunting. These worlds are beautiful in the most disturbing way possible. Everything feels
05:29wrong, like a fairy tale that got corrupted. The creatures, the environments, the sound design
05:33that makes your skin crawl. Tarsier doesn't do cheap horror. They build dreads slowly until you're
05:38genuinely afraid to move forward. If you're a horror fan, this is a must-watch. If you loved
05:42Little Nightmares, this is day one. And if you have someone brave enough to play co-op with you,
05:47February 13th is going to be an experience. Just maybe keep the lights on.
05:50February 27th, 2026. Mark it down. Resident Evil 9 is officially called Requiem,
05:57and Capcom is doing something they've never done before. So we're getting a brand new protagonist,
06:01Grace Ashcroft, an FBI analyst who gets pulled into whatever nightmare Capcom has cooked up this
06:07time. Fresh face, fresh story, which is exciting because as much as I love Ethan and the Winner's
06:12saga, it was time for something new. But here's the real headline. For the first time ever in a
06:17mainline Resident Evil game, you can switch between first-person and third-person perspectives
06:22whenever you want. Let that sink in. The RE7 and Village fans who love that immersive first-person
06:27terror? You're covered. The RE2 and RE4 remake crowd who prefer seeing your character? Also covered.
06:33Capcom said, why are we still arguing about this? Just pick what you like. And honestly,
06:37that's genius. Different sections might feel better in different perspectives. Exploration in third-person,
06:42tense hallway moments in first-person. You get to decide how you experience the horror.
06:47I don't know a ton about the story yet, but it's Resident Evil. There's going to be zombies or
06:51mold monsters or something worse. There's going to be herbs and questionable inventory management,
06:56and at least one moment where you open a door and immediately regret it. February is absolutely
07:01loaded with games, but RE9 might be the one everyone's talking about. March 12th, 2026,
07:08and horror fans need to pay attention because this is huge. Fatal Frame 2, Crimson Butterfly is getting a
07:13full remake, and if you've never played the original, you have no idea what you're in for.
07:17This game traumatized an entire generation of players back on PS2, and now it's coming back
07:22looking absolutely gorgeous and probably twice as terrifying. The premise is simple and horrifying.
07:27Twin sisters, Mio and Mayu, stumble into an abandoned village that's haunted by the ghosts of a ritual
07:32gone wrong. Your only weapon? A camera. That's it. You fight ghosts by photographing them, which means you
07:37have to let them get close. Really close. The closer they are when you snap the picture, the more
07:41damage you do. Do you understand how scary that is? You can't just shoot from across the room. You have
07:46to wait, watch this ghost rushing toward you, and time your shot perfectly. It's the most stressful
07:51combat system ever designed, and I mean that as a compliment. The original is considered one of the
07:56scariest games ever made. The atmosphere, the sound design, those moments where you're walking down a
08:02hallway and you just know something is behind you. If Capcom nails this remake the way they've nailed
08:06their recent ones, we might have a new horror champion. March is going to be rough on my nerves.
08:12One day later, March 13th, and we're switching gears completely. Monster Hunter Stories 3 is here
08:17for everyone who looked at Arathalos and thought, I don't want to kill it, I want to ride it. This is
08:21the turn-based RPG spinoff where instead of hunting monsters, you befriend them. You raise them, bond with
08:27them, and take them into battle as your partners. It's basically Monster Hunter meets Pokemon, and it works
08:32way better than it has any right to. The second game was genuinely fantastic. Great story, beautiful
08:37visuals, and a combat system that had real depth to it. You're reading enemy patterns, switching between
08:42your monsties, timing special attacks. It's strategic in all the right ways. Now we're getting a third
08:48entry called Twisted Reflection, and while Capcom hasn't revealed everything, that subtitle is intriguing.
08:54What's being reflected? Are we getting some kind of dark mirror version of the monster world?
08:59Corrupted Monsties? Evil Doppelgangers? I'm speculating, but that name has to mean something.
09:04What I love about this series is that it opens Monster Hunter up to people who bounced off the
09:08main game. Not everyone wants that intense action combat, and that's fine. Stories gives you the same
09:13incredible monster designs, the same rich world, but in a format that lets you take your time and
09:18really soak it in. This one's going to be special. March 19th brings us Crimson Desert, and I've been
09:25waiting for this one for years at this point. Pearl Abyss, the studio behind Black Desert Online,
09:30has been working on this, and every time they show it, my jaw drops a little more. This is open world
09:35action adventure following a mercenary leader named Macduff, and the scale of what they're attempting
09:40is insane. We've seen boss fights that look like they belong in a different generation of gaming.
09:44Massive creatures, cinematic combat, environments that stretch forever. Pearl Abyss knows how to make
09:49beautiful worlds. Black Desert is still one of the prettiest MMOs out there, and they're bringing all of
09:54that expertise to a single-player focused experience. The combat looks weighty and satisfying.
09:59You're leading a band of mercenaries, so there's this brotherhood element to the story, and the
10:04world itself seems packed with things to discover, from huge set-piece battles to quieter exploration
10:09moments. My only question mark is the storytelling. MMO developers don't always nail narrative-driven
10:15single-player experiences, but if they can match the gameplay and visual quality with a story that
10:19actually hooks you, this could be a sleeper hit of 2026. March 19th. Keep your eyes on this one.
10:26March 20th, 2026. PS5 exclusive. And it's from Housemarque. If that studio name doesn't immediately
10:32get your attention, let me remind you. These are the people who made Returnal. One of the best PS5
10:37exclusives. One of the most addictive roguelites ever made. And a game that proved this studio can
10:43deliver AAA quality when given the resources. Saros is their next project, and it's another
10:49roguelite shooter set on a hostile alien planet called Carcosa. You're already seeing the DNA here.
10:55Strange world, brutal combat, that loop of dying and coming back stronger. But here's what's
10:59different. I'd yassar. Saros has permanent progression system. Returnal was punishing because
11:04death meant losing almost everything. Saros seems to be softening that a bit, letting you carry
11:09meaningful upgrades between runs. That could make it way more accessible while keeping the core
11:13challenge intact. Housemarque's gunplay is unmatched. The way weapons feel in Returnal,
11:18the particle effects, the sound design, everything about their combat is crisp and satisfying. If
11:23Saros captures that same magic with a slightly more forgiving structure, we might have another
11:28PlayStation classic on our hands. March 2026 is absolutely stacked. But as a PS5 owner, Saros is
11:35circled on my calendar. Housemarque earned my trust. They're not going to waste it.
11:40March 27th, 2026. And we're finally getting the James Bond game that's been in the works forever.
11:46IO Interactive, the Hitman people, are giving us an original Bond origin story. And I genuinely
11:52couldn't think of a better studio for this. Think about it. Hitman is all about infiltration,
11:57creative problem solving, multiple approaches to every situation, and that unmistakable style.
12:02Now apply all of that to James Bond before he was James Bond. We're seeing how this guy becomes
12:07007. And IO Interactive gets to build that story from scratch. This isn't based on a movie. It's not
12:13Daniel Craig. It's not any actor you know. This is IO's Bond, their vision of who this character is at
12:19his core. And that's exciting because it means they're not limited by existing storylines. They
12:23can go anywhere, do anything, and craft a spy thriller specifically designed for gaming. The gameplay is
12:29probably going to feel familiar if you've played Hitman. Stealth, disguises, reading your environment,
12:34finding the perfect moment to strike. But with Bond, you also get the car chases, the gadgets,
12:38the charm. IO has to nail that swagger, that confidence that makes Bond who he is. I've wanted
12:44a great Bond game for so long. The potential here is massive. A studio that specializes in exactly this
12:49type of gameplay, making exactly this type of game with complete creative freedom. March 27th
12:55might be the day we finally get the 007 game we deserve.
12:58September 8th, 2026. Just in time for spooky season. And yes, you can play as Michael Myers.
13:06The developers behind Friday the 13th. The game are back, and they're tackling another horror icon.
13:11This is asymmetric multiplayer, meaning one player controls Michael, while everyone else plays as
13:16survivors trying to escape Haddonfield. We've seen this formula before, but with this team and this
13:20franchise, it could be something special. Friday the 13th had its problem. Legal issues basically killed it.
13:25But when that game worked, it really worked. The tension of hearing Jason's music getting closer,
13:31the scramble to find weapons and escape routes, those moments where you somehow survive against
13:35all odds. That core experience was fantastic. Now imagine that with Michael Myers. No running.
13:40Just that slow, relentless walk. He's always coming. You can delay him, you can hide, but he doesn't
13:45stop. That psychological pressure is what makes Michael terrifying. And translating that to
13:50multiplayer could be incredible. The Halloween franchise has decades of material to pull from.
13:54Different maps based on different films. Maybe different versions of Michael.
13:58Survivor characters from throughout the series. There's so much potential content here.
14:02September is the perfect release window. You get a month with this game before Halloween
14:06actually hits. Get your friends together, turn off the lights, and take turns being the
14:10boogeyman. This is exactly what horror fans want.
14:13Fall 2026. PS5 exclusive. Insomniac game. That's really all I need to say, but let me explain
14:19why this might be my most anticipated game on this entire list. Insomniac made Spider-Man.
14:24Both of them. And those games understood Peter Parker on a level that no other adaptation has
14:29matched. The swinging, the combat, the story, the heart. Everything clicked. Now they're bringing
14:34that same energy to Logan, and Wolverine is a very different character. This isn't going to be
14:38friendly neighborhood anything. The trailer already showed us this is brutal. We're talking claws
14:42through bodies, blood, rage. The Wolverine that fans have wanted to see unleashed in a game for
14:47years. Insomniac reportedly pushed for a mature rating specifically because they knew this character
14:52demanded it. The story has Logan hunting threats across the globe. We know Mystique is involved,
14:57Omega Red is showing up, and there are Sentinels. That's a murderer's row of villains, and each one
15:02offers completely different gameplay possibilities. But what I'm most excited about is how Insomniac handles
15:07his healing factor. How do you create tension when your character can regenerate from almost anything?
15:11That's a game design challenge, and this studio is smart enough to figure it out. Fall 2026 can't
15:16come fast enough. PlayStation owners, this is the one. November 19th, 2026. The moment literally
15:23everyone has been waiting for. I don't even know where to start with GTA 6. This is the most
15:28anticipated game in history, not an exaggeration. The trailer broke YouTube records. People have been
15:33dissecting every single frame for hidden details. The hype is absolutely unreal, and somehow Rockstar
15:39still has to deliver on it. We're going back to Vice City, now called Leonida, and we're getting
15:44dual protagonists for the first time. Lucia and Jason, a Bonnie and Clyde situation that's already
15:50generating tons of speculation about how their story plays out. Rockstar doesn't do simple
15:54narratives, so expect twists. The map is supposedly massive, like biggest Rockstar has ever made massive.
16:00We've seen beaches, swamps, cities, all of it rendered in this insane level of detail. The trailer
16:06showed things that genuinely didn't look like video game footage. It's that impressive. And here's
16:10the thing. GTA 5 came out in 2013. We've been waiting over a decade for this. Rockstar has had
16:16all that time to craft something special, and their track record speaks for itself. Red Dead Redemption 2
16:21showed they haven't lost their touch. November 19th, 2026. Clear your schedule. Call in sick. Do whatever
16:28you have to do. This is going to consume the entire gaming conversation the moment it drops.
16:322026, no specific date yet. But Onimusha is back after nearly 20 years, and I'm emotional about it.
16:40If you weren't gaming in the PS2 era, you might not understand how big this franchise was. Onimusha
16:45was Capcom's samurai answer to Resident Evil. Tight combat, atmospheric environments, that same
16:51survival tension but with demons instead of zombies. And then it just disappeared. The last mainline entry
16:56was 2006, almost two decades of nothing. Now Way of the Sword is bringing it back. Set in Edo-era
17:02Kyoto with demon-slaying action using the Oni gauntlet. That gauntlet is key to the series. It lets you
17:07absorb souls from defeated demons and use that energy to power yourself up. It's such a satisfying loop.
17:13What excites me is what Capcom has learned since the original game. Look at what they did with
17:17Resident Evil, with Devil May Cry, with Monster Hunter. Bye. They've mastered the art of modernizing
17:21classic franchises while keeping what made them special. If they apply that same philosophy to
17:26Onimusha, we could have something incredible. Samurai games are having a moment right now.
17:31Ghost of Tsushima proved there's a massive audience for this setting. Onimusha coming back
17:35at this exact time feels right. A new generation gets to experience this franchise and longtime fans
17:40finally get the continuation they've wanted since 2006. Capcom, please don't mess this up.
17:46We've waited too long.
17:48Bungie's back and they're not making Destiny 3. They're doing something completely different and
17:52honestly, I respect the swing. Marathon is an extraction shooter, which puts it in the same
17:56space as Escape from Tarkov and Hunt, Showdown. You drop into hostile territory as a mercenary
18:02called a runner, grab valuable resources, and try to get out alive. If you die, you lose your stuff.
18:07High risk, high reward, maximum tension. But here's the twist. This is set in the Marathon universe.
18:13For anyone who doesn't know, Marathon was Bungie's sci-fi shooter from the 1990s, before Halo even
18:19existed. It had this incredible lore about rogue AIs and deep space mysteries that was way ahead
18:24of its time. Now they're bringing that world back in a completely different genre. The setting is an
18:29abandoned colony that's been silent for centuries. You and other runners are competing to uncover
18:33what happened there and extract with the goods. It's PPVE, so you're fighting both the environment
18:38and other players who want what you have. What I'm curious about is how Bungie handles this.
18:42They know shooters. The gunplay in Destiny is still best in class. If they can bring that weapon
18:47feel to an extraction format with that classic Marathon atmosphere, that's a combination nobody
18:52else can offer. No specific date yet, just 2026. But Bungie reinventing themselves outside of Destiny
18:57is a storyline worth following. This could either be their next big thing or a fascinating experiment.
19:02Either way, I'm paying attention.
19:05Okay, I need you to understand how historic this is. Halo. On PlayStation in 2026. If you told me this
19:11five years ago, I would have laughed in your face. For over two decades, Halo was the Xbox franchise.
19:17It was the reason people bought Xboxes. Master Chief was basically Microsoft's mascot, and now
19:22PlayStation owners are getting a remake of the game that started it all. Halo Combat Evolved,
19:26rebuilt from the ground up with the subtitle Campaign Evolved. But this isn't just a fresh coat of paint.
19:31They're adding new prequel missions that expand the story. Nine new weapons, split-screen co-op,
19:36which is a beautiful thing to see return. This is the definitive version of a game that defined an
19:41entire generation of shooters. If you've never played Halo, you don't know what you've been
19:45missing. That sandbox combat where every encounter can play out differently. Vehicles that actually
19:49feel good. That pistol that's somehow the best weapon in the game. The library level that will test
19:54your patience in the best and worst ways. And the music. Oh man, the music. That choir hitting when
20:00you step onto the ring for the first time. Chills. Every single time. PlayStation fans, you're about to
20:05experience something special. Xbox fans, you already know. 2026 is the year the walls come
20:10down. And honestly, gaming is better when everyone gets to play the classics. Welcome to Halo. You're
20:16gonna love it here. Alright, let's end on something fun. 2026 is giving us a Lego game based on
20:23Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. And I didn't know I needed this until right now. We're
20:28talking Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises. All three films getting the Lego
20:33treatment. And if you've played any Lego game in the last 15 years, you know exactly what that
20:38means. The serious moments are going to become hilarious. The dramatic scenes are going to be
20:42adorable. Bane's voice is going to be even harder to understand and somehow funnier. Imagine Lego
20:48Heath Ledger Joker. Imagine the Tumblr chase, but everything's made of bricks. Imagine that scene
20:53where Batman growls, I'm Batman. But he's a tiny plastic figure, and it's the most precious thing
20:58you've ever seen. That's this game. TT Games has perfected this formula. You get the puzzle
21:03platforming, the character collecting, the co-op that's perfect for playing with friends or family,
21:08and that humor that makes fun of the source material while clearly loving it. The Dark Knight
21:12trilogy took itself very seriously, which makes it the perfect target for Lego comedy. This is going
21:17to be the game you play with your kids, your siblings, your partner, who doesn't usually game.
21:21It's accessible, it's funny, and it's three of the best superhero movies ever made turned into
21:26interactive brick chaos. 2026 has a lot of heavy, intense games on this list. Lego Batman is here
21:33to remind us that games can just be pure joy, and sometimes that's exactly what you need. So there
21:37you have it. 18 brand new PS5 games coming in 2026, and honestly, my wallet is already crying. This
21:45lineup is absolutely insane. We've got horror, we've got action, we've got samurai games making
21:50comebacks after 20 years, and we've got Halo on PlayStation, which still feels weird to say out loud.
21:55Look, I know I say this a lot, but 2026 might genuinely be one of the best years in gaming.
22:01Like, pick any month and there's something worth being excited about. February alone is going to
22:06destroy people's free time. Now I want to hear from you. Which game has you the most hype? Are you
22:10Team GTA 6? Because obviously, or is there a sleeper pick on this list that you think deserves
22:15more attention? Drop it in the comments, let's talk about it. If this video helped you discover
22:19something new or got you excited for what's coming, a like really does help push this out to more
22:24people. And if you're not subscribed yet, you know what to do. We cover all the latest PlayStation news,
22:29trailers, and deep dives right here. Alright, that's all I've got. Thanks for watching,
22:34thanks for hanging out, and I'll catch you in the next one.
