00:28He was 47. Plaza and Baina have been together for over two decades. The stars dated for three years
00:34before she starred in his 2014 directorial debut, Life After Beth, which he also wrote. It was
00:40nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. The couple proceeded to collaborate
00:46together on numerous films over the years. Plaza and Baina have been married since 2021.
00:51The tragic news comes just as Plaza was announced to present at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards,
