00:17making it the longest-running live-action primetime series
00:20in the history of American TV.
00:22It will surpass the record of 20 seasons
00:24currently held by its parent show, Law & Order,
00:27and CBS's Gunsmoke.
00:28But maybe we're all victims.

00:37Of course, star and executive producer Mariska Hargitay
00:40will also extend her run as Lieutenant Olivia Benson,

00:45in a live-action primetime series.

01:30and ability to connect with viewers, but to its necessity.
