00:00Coming away from their tie against Wrexham with nothing was a huge frustration for Bristol City,
00:07given that they did not build on their win over Swansea at Ashton Gate.
00:12They were backed in Wales by many Travelling Robins supporters,
00:16who this weekend will make a trip to the south coast as Bristol City take on Portsmouth at Fratton Park.
00:22And following the loss away at Wrexham, head coach Ger Hodstruber called on Bristol City supporters
00:29to continue bucking his players.
00:34Yeah, the message is, of course, it's always a little bit the same.
00:39So they are so reliable how they come to our away games.
00:44And I hope they come with us to Wortsmouth again and they push my boys in a really good direction.
00:53I think the boys invest today, physical-wise, on a really high level,
00:58but we were not always mental-wise so sharp and so clear what we did in the past.
01:05And we need our fans that they push the boys on Saturday to a next really good performance
01:12and, of course, also hopefully in a direction of a victory.
01:16Bristol City's record at Ashton Gate and away from home in the Championship this season
01:22is, in terms of points, almost identical,
01:26highlighting the importance that the Robins fans bring to their team in terms of picking up results.
01:33Bristol City's fans will, of course, be in the minority at Fratton Park,
01:39as they always will be for away games, but they can certainly make themselves heard
01:44and that is exactly what Ger Hodstruber is asking for.
01:48If they can get back to winning ways on the south coast,
01:52Bristol City may well go back into the playoff spots
01:55and staying there this season is exactly what Ger Hodstruber, his squad
02:00and all associated with Bristol City want come the end of the campaign.
02:06Of course, the ending of the campaign in May is a long way off,
02:10but if Struber's message hits home now, it may well continue to inspire.
02:14Yeah.
