00:05Hey everyone, I'm Elena Scantlin for ENTV, Deadline.com has the details.

00:12The 20th annual SAG Award nominees were announced this morning in Los Angeles and we were there

00:16to talk to some of the stars announcing the honors.

00:19It's the one major award show where the actors vote on each other's work, so naturally our

00:24favorite stars were super excited to be included on the nominees list.

00:27It's been a year where some of the best movies seem to be elevated by great ensemble performances.

00:33It's such an honor to be recognized by your fellow actors because those are the people

00:37that you work with all the time.

00:39Scandal has already earned Kerry Washington an Emmy nomination and now she can thank the

00:44ABC hit for adding SAG nominee to her list of credits.

00:47She reacted to the news on Twitter saying, I'm truly grateful and proud.

00:51To be acknowledged by my peers in this way is an enormous honor.

01:00who said, cheers to what we get to do, depict humanity and ride this wild bull called acting.

01:05I'm honored with this nomination.

01:08Sandra Bullock joked about her Lead Actress nomination for the space epic Gravity saying,

01:12had I known being locked in a light box and dangling from a ceiling for hours on end would land

01:17me in the company of these extraordinary women.

01:20I would have done it years ago.

01:21That company includes Lee Daniels' The Butler star Oprah who hadn't starred in a movie for

01:26over 10 years before signing on to the project.

01:28Though you'll have to excuse her if she's a little overwhelmed by her SAG honors.

01:33She was close to tears when she told E! News, for someone who was trying not to embarrass myself,

01:38it is amazing.

01:39American Hustle star Jennifer Lawrence could have been patting herself on the back for

01:43her second consecutive SAG nomination but instead she put the spotlight on others saying,

01:48congratulations to the other nominees and to my fellow cast members for the film's ensemble nomination.

01:53I never get a big head, I just get more and more anxious.

01:56Now imagine getting a SAG nod for your first film ever.

01:59That's what happened to Captain Phillips star Barkhad Abdi this year.

02:03He revealed his reaction to his supporting actor nod saying,

02:06we just started screaming, we had to calm down so we wouldn't wake the neighbors.

02:10It was just last month when we spoke to the actor about adjusting to his overnight success.

02:15Well, I got an agent now, just trying to see if I can do more acting.
