00:05Amazon Studios has landed the rights to an untitled wedding comedy from writer-director Nick Stoller and led by the two stars.

00:12Logline details are being kept under the veil, such as a production start and so forth,

00:17but the premise involves two weddings that are booked at the same venue on the same weekend.

00:21The trio are also producing via their respective banners.

00:24Ferrell threw Gloria Sanchez, which were behind the hits such as Netflix's Dead to Me,

00:28Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar,

00:30and the recently-wrapped Christmas musical Spirited for Apple TV+, opposite Ryan Reynolds.

00:36And Witherspoon is producing via Hello Sunshine,

00:39which has made a name for itself with thoughtful and powerful series such as The Morning Show,

00:43Little Fires Everywhere, and Big Little Lies.

00:46As for Stoller, he's been generating strong buzz for his rom-com Bros,

00:50which he directed and co-wrote with Billy Eichner, releasing September 30th.

00:54And among his other directing credits are the comedies Forgetting Sarah Marshall and The Neighbors movies.
