00:00Congratulations! What is it like to be a part of such a legendary franchise?
00:04It's crazy. It's definitely as cool as you think it is.
00:07I grew up watching the movies. They were a staple in my household, so this is kind of insane.
00:12It feels really cool to be cemented in history as part of this legacy, as part of this franchise.
00:17Yeah, I think I'll be riding this for a while.
00:20For sure, and working with people like Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan. Talk to me about that.
00:25Oh my gosh, it's amazing. It's definitely a little intimidating at first,
00:28but they're both amazing guys. They show up to set so humble, so ready to work, so happy to be there,
00:35and they treat everybody so wonderful, everybody's equal, and that was really nice to see
00:41because you don't always see that with legends like them, so yeah.
00:45What kind of stunt work did you have to do or prepare for this movie?
00:48My character Mia doesn't do any physical fighting. She's more of an emotional fighter, okay?
00:52She really wrangles these guys, keeps them in check,
00:55and she sort of brings an emotional presence in a world that's normally so dominated by physical action,
01:02which is a really fun character to play, and yeah, I loved it.
01:06Well, being around action stars like Jackie Chan, were you able to pick up on any stunt work or tips while on set?
01:13Yeah, I definitely was a little nosy. I was feeling like a little left out of the fun because Mia doesn't fight,
01:19so I was like, you know, I'm just going to insert myself into a few training sessions
01:23because I just wanted to pick up a few things while I was there, you know?
01:26What did you learn?
01:28A few punches, a few kicks, especially from Ben. He helped me out a little bit.
01:32I tested them out on him.
01:34I love that.
01:34And where do you think the franchise goes from here?
01:37Oh my gosh, there's like endless possibilities. I'm so excited to see what they want to do.
01:40So I'd love, selfishly, I'd love if Mia could get in on the action.
01:45You know, maybe she needs to learn how to fight for some reason.
01:47She wants to take up kung fu or karate or both, you know, let's get her in there.
01:52Or let's bring Hilary Swank in, too, because she was the female karate kid, and we need to get her back.
01:59That's truly when all the legends are coming together.
02:01Yeah, exactly.
