A syndicated daytime show hosted by Nick Cannon won't launch in the fall, Noah Centineo joins Dwayne Johnson in ‘Black Adam,’ and more.

00:00Here are today's top stories. First, Nick Cannon's forthcoming daytime talk show has been pushed back,
00:05following the fallout from anti-Semitic comments he made on his podcast. The syndicated daytime
00:09show hosted and executive produced by Cannon was supposed to launch in the fall from Lionsgate's
00:14Debmar Mercury. Lionsgate says it's standing by Cannon but will hold off on the daytime show for
00:18a year until the fall of 2021. Lionsgate and Debmar Mercury said in a statement, in part,
00:24After conversations with Nick, we do believe that his public comments don't reflect his true
00:28feelings and his apology is heartfelt and sincere. We want to continue the healing process as he
00:33meets with leaders of the Jewish community and engages in a dialogue with our distribution
00:37partners to hear their views. This comes after ViacomCBS cut ties with Cannon following the
00:41controversial podcast remarks. Talk about a power duo. Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling are set to star
00:46in the Netflix action thriller The Gray Man and another powerful duo Avengers Endgame directors
00:52Joe and Anthony Russo are directing. The film is based on the 2009 novel that centers on court gentry,
00:57a former CIA operative known as the Gray Man, played by Gosling. The film adaptation follows
01:02the character who is hunted across the globe by Evans' character, his former CIA colleague Lloyd
01:07Hansen. Joe Russo wrote the script with Avengers Infinity War and Endgame writers Christopher Marcus
01:12and Stephen McFeely performing a polish. The film could potentially see a January 2021 start date.
01:17Finally, heartthrob Noah Centineo is joining Dwayne Johnson in Black Adam, the Shazam spinoff based
01:23on the popular DC anti-hero. Centineo will play Adam Smasher, a character who can control his
