00:00How have rehearsals been going so far, and how long have you been rehearsing?
00:04Is it kind of like only just been a few?
00:07You know, we've only had two. It's felt like a lifetime. They are brutal.
00:10So hard. The longest days of my life with this one.
00:15I just look at them, and I'm like, how many more months?
00:19She almost drew out the contract earlier.
00:21No, they've been incredible. They've been incredible.
00:24She loves to work, so we've been working hard.
00:25We've had like two full rehearsals, about eight hours worth, working hard.
00:30We're working on the foundation.
00:31All about the details. Well, that's something that we clicked over.
00:35Very detail-oriented people.
00:36So it's just been a lot of meticulous work, which I think is going to pay off, hopefully.
00:40I agree.
00:41How would you describe your dancing skills?
00:43Where are the strengths? Where are the weaknesses? What do we got to work on?
00:47Strengths are I can pick up choreography pretty well, so I'm hoping that will serve me.
00:53But weaknesses are the fact that I've never done anything like this.
00:57No ballroom, no partner dancing.
00:59In fact, I actually have a history of hating partner dancing, because I just don't trust others.
01:05So how has this been going so far?
01:07Brandon?
01:09Well, so far I've tricked her. So far she's been pretty trusting.
01:12Look, I think, for me, this is the most unique experience.
01:16You could be a professional ballerina.
01:20It's completely different.
01:22And so, like she said, I've just been taking it so slow.
01:25We've been working over every detail, making sure all the stones are laid right,
01:28so that the rest of the season we can build a great success.
01:31I mean, I hope.
01:32Is there any advice that you gave her about being a part of this journey in general?
01:37I mean, look, it's a marathon, not a sprint.
01:39It's a lot of weeks and a lot of work.
01:41And so I think just taking it week by week, making each one unique,
01:45you know, taking on the role each week, it makes it fresh, keeps you enjoyable.
01:49I don't know.
01:49Is there a song or an artist in particular that you're looking to hopefully dance to this season?
01:56Yeah, we have a list.
01:59Let's start naming it.
02:00A song list, actually.
02:01We've been scheming.
02:02Oh, scheming.
02:03We actually, like, plotting, like, maniacal laughter.
02:08But are you trying to?
02:10If we make it to the finale, I'd be really excited because I'm going to produce and write and sing my own song that we're going to dance to.
02:16Yeah, he's really incredible.
02:17I don't know if you've heard him.
02:18Yeah, I'll keep it a secret, but you guys would be in for a treat.
02:22We're going to start putting that in the producer's ears by watching.
02:24Please don't.
02:25If you heard my voice in your ear, we would get eliminated that night.
02:28So don't do that.
02:28Immediately.
02:29Actually, halfway through the dance.
02:31If you want to self-eliminate, that's when we bring it.
02:33Yeah, I sing solo.
02:34Solo, you can't hear me.
02:35That's the only way I sing.
02:37Well, is there a theme night?
02:39I love all the theme nights that you guys have every season.
02:41If you could come up with your own theme night, what would it be?
02:44Ooh, that's a good one.
02:46I think, like, the night that Brandon and Chandler win.
02:49I think that'd be a great theme.
02:50I think everybody would love it.
02:52Yeah.
02:52We would love it.
02:53Yeah, yeah.
02:54Everyone shows up, and they actually don't dance.
02:56They just stand on stage for a minute and a half and talk about how amazing it is.
03:01That would be a great theme night.
03:03And the only theme night I've ever had to enjoy that, so I would love that.
